Two and Half Men Dust up..Again
I don’t usually weigh in on entertainment news but this has me a bit pissed off and kind of confused. On one hand, I admire the kids courage to stand up. On the other I find it very selfish and hypocritical.

Move over Charlie Sheen, another “Two and a Half Men” controversy is exploding.
Angus T. Jones, who has played the role of Jake Harper, “the half” on the hit CBS show since 2003, is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church, in which he calls the sitcom “filth” that contradicts his devout Christian values.
So to get this straight. The kid who gets about 350k a WEEK for starring in a sitcom is now finding it “Filthy?” I understand the religious aspect and the confliction it brings. But if you want to be “Courageous” how about quitting first? How about giving the producers/writers a chance to see about working around it? That would be the right way to do it. What this kid did is deliberately sabotage a very long running series who employ a lot of people. Not right under any circumstances.
Personally, I think this type of thing hurts Christians more than it helps. While the evangelicals will call him brave and call him a hero, most church going God Fearing people in America are seeing this as unnecessary, pitiful and selfish.
I liked that show back when Charlie Sheen was on it. Back int he first 3 or 4 seasons after that I kind of got bored.

There are plenty more honey’s that have had a role on this series. And I’ll tell ya this, in its early years this series was one of the funniest sitcoms ever. Time to let it die now though.
Bottom line is this: John Cryer was the steady star of this series. Him and Berta (The housekeeper) The mess with Charlie Sheen was a disaster, but his character was hilarious. No possible way Ashton Kutcher could pull that off. It was a valiant try but it was a failure.

Two and a Half Men… No loss if it goes, not in my opinion… Sex and dope may be the realities of life but prime time TV doesn’t need to celebrate it..
Kinda funny how Jake suddenly got all religious and stuff right after he had *supposed* sex scenes with Miley Cyrus… Maybe they should have used Taylor Swift, she could have written a song or something…
The kid is a rat that is trying to destroy 100’s of people’s jobs. If he thought that badly about the show, why didn’t he quietly leave it? I’m personally tired of Hollyweird primadonnas thinking their views mean something.
While I agree with most of what you said, we need to remember, for about half of this kids life, he was a minor doing this show. It was not like he had an adult mind and way of thinking. He was actually great on the show when he was younger. From what I understand and I may be wrong but his conversion is recent and I applaud him for at least trying to do the right thing as he saw it. Remember, he is still just 19 or so, and I look back when I was that age, I would not want to be judged as a person for the mistakes I made in my youth, would any of you? As of this morning he did apologize, so right there alone he showed more maturity than Charlie Sheen. And while the show was funny early on, he told the truth. It is filth.
