Gun Control vs Voter ID…

Gun Control vs Voter ID…

The more I have to deal with California Laws, the more frustrated and downright angry I get. For example:

My wife suffers with sinus issues. The best medication for her is Claritin-D 24 hour. When she or I pick it up, we have to show ID and it’s tracked how many times we’ve purchased this medication. IF we’ve bought too much in a 30 day period, they will deny us the medication. And they know within minutes if we’ve hit our limit.

When I go buy a gun in California, I have to go through a background check that costs 30+ dollars. This is added to the price of the firearm. IF I fail the check, I don’t get the money back nor do I get the firearm. I also must wait 10 days, sign more paperwork than if I were buying a car before I can take possession of the firearm.

To vote for politicians and measures/propositions I must simply show up point out a name on a sheet say it’s me, or tell them a name and address. I don’t need to show them ID, fill out any paperwork, prove I know what or who I’m voting for…

So lets look at a potential way to get the Anti-Gun Democrats their dream of universal background checks (NOT REGISTRATION)

In my opinion: VOTING is more dangerous than the prior two. I contend that if they can tell me within minutes that I have purchased too many sinus medications, they can tell me if I’m a felon or illegal to posses a gun in the same time frame. I am in NO WAY in favor of background checks to get a firearm. I don’t like it at all. As an American I’m guarantee’d certain rights. MY RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS IS NOT UP FOR NEGOTIATION! That being said, we’re in a different world…

We live in a world that is very gray now. It’s not as simple as it used to be and people are far more stupid than they’ve ever been. We can thank our education system and the political class for dumbing down our nation. BUT perhaps common ground is achievable if we did some basic things.

I would give in on the background checks IF:

Universal Background checks done within 30 minutes and with an APPEAL PROCESS headed up by an entity of ELECTED not APPOINTED judges to oversee complaints by COUNTY not STATE with the power to over ride the Denial of rights in a SPEEDY fashion. From denial to Appeal to Judgement within 30 days. And once you have passed the background check, you are then able to get a concealed carry permit, IF you can pass the TEXAS style CCW tests. This has to be done at federal level so CA and NY can’t deny Americans their rights any more.

Democrats give on the VOTER ID:

2. VOTER ID. Must provide a VALID ID before voting. PERIOD. IF you aren’t smart enough to get an ID, you can’t be trusted to vote for someone who has the power to reduce or infringe on my rights.

The Democrat party loves to talk compromise, this is a compromise. It’s also one that would never fly with the Al Sharpton/MSNBC fans. And I don’t think the NRA would be happy with the Background checks.

Look, I’d rather be able to walk into a gun store and buy an AR like I buy a box of sinus medication. Matter of fact I’d like to be able to walk into a gun store and buy a gun like I buy a pepsi, but that’s not realistic these days.

Ive floated this idea before and many pro-gunners felt it was giving too much. I agree. But I also know that a background check is quick and easy. I offer NO Compromise on the registration of firearms, No limits on magazine sizes nor caliber. If you pass a background check, you should be afforded the right to own a defensive weapon of your choice (ICBM’s and F-22 raptors not included)

Voter ID needs to be implemented ASAP and if there’s a way we can get it with compromising universal background checks I say LETS DO IT ON OUR TERMS.

Just some late night thinking agree, disagree I don’t care. I just know that our nation has gone off the rails and someone needs to put it back on the track. Some variation of common sense needs to take hold.

Gun Violence in Gun Ban Zone

Gun Violence in Gun Ban Zone

If the gun control freaks were HONEST they’d see the FACTS. But honesty isn’t a strong suit for the “Feel Good” legislative crowd.

Mayhem in the city: 25 people shot in 48 hours

Three killed Sunday after three were killed Saturday. One of the wounded includes an 11-year-old girl who will never walk again.

That headline is from NEW YORK. Yep, that New York, the Nanny State city Bloomburg ran sewer that is only comparable to LA or Frisco.

As a pro Gun advocate, I see incidents like these in a real world view. I see the totality of the incidents not just the “Gun” part. I see the WHO did the shooting and WHO was shot. The 11 yr old girl is the saddest part of the story and no gun around her was likely to save her. BUT and this where MY GUN FREEDOM MENTALITY KICKS IN. Had the shooters been concerned about the potential for ARMED RESPONSE from the public, maybe they wouldn’t have been shooting in the first place. MAYBE.

statue-of-government

But what isn’t MAYBE is that Mayor Bloomburg’s gun control vision ISN’T WORKING nor will it ever work. Criminals get guns, Criminals don’t do background checks, Criminals don’t obey laws. Making MORE LAWS for them to break isn’t and has never worked. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. AZ did and the entire state is experiencing ALL TIME LOW homicide by gun stats. How about give what does work a try?

Gun Control Legislation NOT DEAD.

Gun Control Legislation NOT DEAD.

Anyone who thought the gun grabbers would back off after the background check bill died in the senate is an idiot. Most Freedom loving Americans KNOW that the left is in an orgasmic state that it came within a couple of votes of INFRINGING.

The NRA show in Houston is happening now. The NRA is the last stand. The NRA and a few lesser known Gun Rights organizations are all that stands between US and THEM. Join one or all NOW. The misinformation and outright lies need to be challenged and corrected. NOW.

We have very few senators we can count on. We put a couple in place during the last election Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul. And we lost a few after dinner with the king. McCain and Graham.

This rant I’m about to go on isn’t about anything other than GUN CONTROL legislation. But I’ll tie it in to a few other bills up for votes.

We have Ted Cruz challenging Joe Biden to a debate. That would be great. Ted Cruz would bring FACTS, Joe Biden would bring EMOTIONS. Joe Biden and the media would set the ground rules that FACTS are not allowed.

armed vs disarmed

What we have here is a manipulation of data to the point of ridiculousness. You hear the lapdog media using the 90% number of Americans that wanted that gun control bill passed. IT IS BLATANTLY FALSE. 90% of LIBERALS/PROGRESSIVES want that bill passed. Which is bad if you think about it. It means 10% of even the FURTHEST LEFT idiots don’t want it.

liberals-vs-conservatives

There is ZERO doubt that the particular gun bill that McCain/Graham and other Republicans voted FOR, would have ANY CHANCE OF STOPPING THE NEXT SHOOTING SPREE. ZERO-ZIP-NADA, all it would do is make US the legal gun owners jump through more hoops to exercise our rights.

Stabbing-Slicing at Texas College

Stabbing-Slicing at Texas College

So I wake up today and hear that a razor knife went nuts on a college campus.

14 injured in knife attack on Lone Star College campus, suspect arrested

Over 12 people were stabbed Tuesday on the campus of Lone Star Community College campus in Cypress, Texas, after a male suspect reportedly used a small knife, ran from building to building and randomly attacked individuals along the way.

Harris Country Sheriff Adrian Garcia says the suspect, described as a young white male, has been taken into custody. No further information about the suspect or about the weapon has been released as the investigation is still active and ongoing.

President Obama has immediately reacted with an executive order that will require all students to have background checks before buying razor knives. There will be a 10 day waiting period before any razor knife leaves the hobby store. It’s all for the kids… oh wait, no he didn’t.

I find it funny that Razor knives have been responsible for more death in America than AR-15’s but our wonderful legislature is going to try and ban those…

Stabbings, car wrecks, drunk drivers and doctors mistakes are all more likely to kill you than an AR15 in the hands of some lunatic. BUT BAN THEM BECAUSE THEY’RE SCARY LOOKIN!!!

I’m so sick of the downward spiral our nation is headed in. And the leaders of this nation seem to think that’s “Forward”

Oh and Senator McCain and Graham. Fuck you both, you miserable rino’s.

Gun Control you say? Assault rifle you say?

Gun Control you say? Assault rifle you say?

Well, it didn’t take long for the super gun grabbers to “Move on” and go “Forward” with their agenda driven, knee jerk policy push did it?

563701_553033091390911_1119676078_n

We have a couple of options. “WE” being People who believe the RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS is self evident and requires ZERO explanation as to its meaning. “WE” being people who will die defending those rights. (There will be blood, right unions?)

Option 1: Fight tooth and nail against every government action involving firearm regulation.

Option 2: Allow SOME regulation to protect other facets of firearms.

What is about to happen is this. Mark this down because I’ll be alluding to it often in the coming days.

The NRA will capitulate to some regulation is needed it will involve some sort of magazine capacity or rifle style. The government will tout the NRA’s “Willingness” to move on the issue as progress.

Now, IF this happens, I will renounce my NRA membership. I have seen the baby steps from start till now in California. Option ONE is the only option. WE FIGHT EVERYTHING out of the mouths of these hypocrites in suits regarding guns. NOTHING other than REMOVING gun regulations that have already been enacted need to be discussed.

Let me tell you where I am with this entire situation. The only discussion that needs to be had after the tragedy in Newtown is MENTAL HEALTH and CRIME AND PUNISHMENT.

A-hSF-vCEAA0Q2C

We can discuss what to do with the nutjobs, how we determine someone is a nutjob and the responsibility of the Fed/state/county/city to care for said nutjob. I have NO PROBLEM WITH THAT DISCUSSION.

We can discuss criminal punishment, we can discuss the fact that prisons are no longer feared as a punishment. We can make prison time HARD, rather than an institution of higher learning for criminals. We can discuss USING the death penalty for crimes involving guns. We can discuss all of this. What I will not discuss is losing MY RIGHT to own an AR-15 because some asshole did something disgusting.

There’s a lot of talk about the “Need” for an AR15. Let me put that to bed right now.

Cops have AR15’s MP4’s and even some M16’s. They have some very heavy firepower at their disposal. Why do they need them? If you say to protect US, you’re too stupid to breathe. It’s to protect THEM. And let me say, they do NEED THEM. While your every day American doesn’t go out looking for the bad guy like cops do, your everyday American is always  LOOKED FOR BY CRIMINALS!

Norway Massacre: Gun Control…

Norway Massacre: Gun Control…

First off let me offer my condolences to the families of the victims of this horrendous crime.

Second let me make it perfectly clear where I stand.

As the death toll continues to rise in Norway’s apparently related bombing and shooting attacks, a few truths are once again revealed for any who would see:

  • Unarmed victims are defenseless and easy prey for any evil lunatic bent on slaughtering them at will. The adults at the youth camp were utterly unprepared to protect themselves, let alone their charges.
  • People instinctively don’t question an armed man if he appears to be a police officer. Many of the same people react with horror at the sight of an armed citizen.
  • The best defense against an active shooter is others with guns—it was not the unarmed who took the suspect into custody.
  • Once more, “gun control” has proven useless. Many reports, if accurate, say the gunman used “automatic weapons,” which, except for some tightly regulated collector exemptions, are banned from civilian ownership in Norway.
  • Once more, the race is on to tar an entire demographic for the actions of a deranged and monstrous individual, and to conflate “conservatives” with violent extremists.

And once more, expect to hear renewed calls for more citizen disarmament, that is, an expansion of the potential victim pool for those who count on such measures to make their diabolical tasks all the more easily executed.

The fact is if you disarm the public, you must protect that public or slaughter the public. This is what happens time and time again and the same people come out screaming about the gun he used, rather than the laws that prevented OTHER guns to be a deterrent.

People in America we have a choice. We can fight to KEEP our 2nd Amendment rights and actually USE THAT RIGHT. Or we can continue to allow them to be weakened, then wait for something like this and cry about it. We could mourn the deaths of few or the deaths of MANY. We cannot keep guns out of the hands of those intent on these types of acts, but we can take them out of the hands of those who will prevent it.

The current Administration will be using this incident as reason to restrict our gun rights even further. You must fight that with every fiber of your being. You must engage the anti’s at all times with facts and common sense. DO NOT allow them to paint guns as the culprit.

Concealed Carry in Wisconsin?

Concealed Carry in Wisconsin?

Well all that’s left is for Governor Walker to sign it into law. Good for you Wisconsin. Good first step in regaining your rights. BUT.. You knew there would be a but didn’t ya?

Wisconsin much like California is a liberal bastion. Wisconsin is trying to move to the right. We’ve seen it in the streets of Madison. We are seeing the lengths and lies the left will go to, to Keep their freedom from being realized.

California is technically a concealed carry state with permission. Wisconsin is going to go about the same route. There are parameters placed on concealed carry much like many other states. California is a “May Issue” state. Texas is a “Shall Issue” state. That is a huge difference. Not sure where Wisconsin will fall in these categories.

By contrast AZ is a FREEDOM loving state. You can carry open or concealed, you can carry in most places. You do not need government approval to carry protection for your well being. This is where EVERY STATE should be. AZ is setting a good example for us all.

I congratulate Wisconsin on their move in the right direction but the fight is not over. We are in a war against lies. We are in a war against insanity. We are in a war between slavery and freedom. We are in a war between those that want control over us and us having control over ourselves. We the People have rights and one of those rights is the right to self preservation. You remove a woman’s right to carry a firearm, you have taken the choice from her and made her a potential victim of our failures as a society.

Think about that for a minute. We continue to let thugs out of prison, predators out of prison. We can’t punish bad behavior in society any more, we have seen nothing but increases in gang violence, robbery, murder, rape and assaults. Yet we continue to be denied our GOD given right to protect ourselves by our elected officials. Who have ARMED security guards by their side paid for by US… WOW… Gotta love the irony huh?

Fight to stupidity. Fight the ignorant anti-gun morons that want YOU to be a victim rather than stand up for what’s right. Fight the progressive agenda of capitulation and surrender. Fight for your FULL RIGHTS at all times.

Arizona vs California… Worlds apart.

Arizona vs California… Worlds apart.

We spent the weekend in AZ, drove out early Friday morning and crossed into AMERICA about 0600 hrs. Kind of like that scene in the Disney movie where the sun came out, the birds were singing and the sky was clear… We stopped at Quartzite to get gas and take advantage of gaining some of my rights back. Those of you that know of California laws regarding firearms know what I mean.

One thing that hits you when you leave the PROK (Peoples Republik of Kalifornia) is the cleanliness of the roadways in AZ. You don’t see graffiti on the overpasses, you don’t see trash littering the side, you don’t see the signage covered in “Mexican Art.”

You do see people working on the side of the roads, you see “Road crews” doing clean ups and I’m told that the crews we saw were most likely “Criminal” work crews from Maricopa county. You meet people, they say hi, they hold the doors open for you, they are very polite. We stopped at a “Smokehouse” in Cave Creek AZ and had the best brisket on the face of the earth. The people there treated us like royalty as they treated EVERYONE. Polite and respectful.

I saw many guns on hips, some obviously were trying to be concealed but the warm weather made it pretty much impossible to conceal.

We stayed at a “Radisson” and I tell you what, that place was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room had one of those “Sleep Number” beds…We got some good sleep and now I have to go buy one. The wife fell in love with it.

Our adventure started at Cave Creek, but the real fun was hitting the desert for some range work. We had a bunch of tannerite and made for some interesting shots. We blew up a lot of stuff… Pure redneck bog dwelling fun was had by all.

We had a ton of fun and the weekend ended with the Superbowl. We watched it at a friend of ours house. We cooked ribs and greens with taters and cornbread and a side of BEER! What an awesome weekend. On our way home we drove about an hour out of the way to visit an old mining town under the “Superstition Mountains”

Enjoy a few more pics..

One thing you must do when you visit the Phoenix/Chandler area is eat at the “Heart Attack Grill”

They only do burgers, fries, shakes, coke (No diet) in original bottles and PBR beer. Best damn burgers and fries you will ever have in this day and time. And the waitresses played their part well. The theme is a hospital room, they make everyone wear a hospital gown and they treat you like patients. And if you happen to weigh 350lbs or more you eat free.

We also managed to get to Cabella’s. I needed to pick up a few things that are hard to get here. It happened to be NRA week… We spent about 3 hours walking around there and talking to folks. It’s a big difference between AZ and CA, the people.

Great time, glad to be back home but not glad that my home is here. I came back with a renewed vigor for freedom. We who are stuck behind enemy lines need to push these liberpukes to STOP the grabbing, STOP the over reach, and STOP the Communism/Socialist march they are on here. We need to get the idiots that keep electing these bigger idiots to office to see the danger. The only way they will see it, is to see what they have already lost. It’s only a short drive across the border east.
