Tea Party Facts:

Tea party folks are a bunch of AMERICANS. Shocking. Not racists, NOT anti-Government, Not Militia, Not rich white folks…I know you folks are shocked to read that but it’s true, even CNN said as much (You have to read between the lines a bit but they did)

There is a new poll out that said support for the tea party is dropping. I read that it is because of the media’s rampant demonizing of people in the tea party.

I have another take on it.

The Tea Party is made up of folks that NEVER protested anything, they were busy working and trying to provide for their family, basically they are very new to this “take it to the streets” action. The people of the tea party are business owners, and people with a good grasp of the American dream, they understand what it takes and the rewards for success. They understand sacrifice, they understand that working for something is better than having it given to you because you appreciate it more. The tea party is made up of the top echelon of the American population, they are concerned about how they are portrayed.

For every one tea party member at a protest, there are hundreds that are not there. WHY? See the above, they work, they are not giving up, they are hoping for CHANGE, and they will show up in November. Don’t be discouraged by media’s polls.

There’s some GREAT news coming, like the Maryland Miracle from “Weasel Zippers”

(Charles) Lollar, a general manager at Cintas, is unabashed when it comes to addressing accusations of racism by the tea party movement’s opponents. “Can you believe that I have been accused of being a racist?” he asked the college Republicans. “Somebody once called me a racist. I looked at them and said, ‘My wife’s black — I can’t be!’” he joked to the crowd at a tea party rally in March.

Those that discount the tea party movement will regret it from the unemployment line.
