Spreading the Wealth Around and layoffs Coming.
Dear Fellow Business Owners
As a business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama wll be our next President, and that my Taxes and Fees, will go up in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about 8%. I will also have to lay off 6 of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn’t know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I strolled thru the parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on my employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.
I can’t think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.
I am sending this letter to all Business owners that I know.

HERE IS A BUSINESS FACT!
Lets make this a quick an easy business lesson for some of the “on the fence” Democrats:
Suzy and Debbie are selling lemonade in front of their houses on the same street. They pay 10% taxes and have figured out the pricing they will need to be successful.
Suzy and Debbie are selling a LOT of lemonade and need help, Suzy and Debbie decide to Combine their operation, and help each other.. Things are good, prices are low but they need more help, they decide they can hire someone because their business is good.
They increase the price of the lemonade by 5 cents to offset the cost of hiring Ricky…
Things are fine for a couple of years… Prices have rose a couple of nickles because of lemon pricing, and cup costs, the workforce has grown, Suzy and Debbie are not working the stand anymore Ricky and Johnny are the operators now and things are good.
IN Comes HIGHER TAXES From 10% to 20% because we are spreading the wealth around. So what do Suzy and Debbie do? A couple of Options:
Fire Ricky and/or Johnny and keep their prices low and competitive, or RAISE Prices of their goods. IF they raise prices who can afford it? what does inflation do to the business community?
IF prices are raised who benefits? Suzy and Debbie, if people can afford to buy their product but what that means is, Ricky and Johnny may be able to sell lemonade but wont be able to afford to drink it.
It’s called EBONOMICS… Give me mine because YOU OWE ME..

Johnny goes queer and dies of AIDS, Suzy OD’s on pure cocaine and dies in horrendous convulsions, Ricky suffers severe bouts of depression and commits suicide after being indicted on federal charges of having sex with underage partners, (Johnny, Suzy and Debbie) and Debbie moves to Dallas where she does it ALL… :greensmiles:

We the people of southeastern Pennsylvania, when we are not too busy clinging to our guns and holy bibles, also have a great pasttime. We stand in opposition to the peace activists in a town called West Chester PA (a liberal college town I might add) Each week they gather their putrid aging hippies sprinkled with some nightmarish college students, their inane flags of hope peace and Obama, and truly sing kumbaya among other silly songs from the 60’s. So, we get there a half hour before them, to set up our support the troop signs, and to unfurl our dozens of American flags. We have vets from several wars, active duty soldiers as well as Blue star Moms and Dads among us.
It is quite entertaining, and I hope you can check out the website of the originator of the cause! His name is Rich Davis, and he has managed to begin a revolution that has never quit for over a year, but rather grown exponentially!

Ok well you forgot to mention the kids that Suzy and Debbie might have, they will obviously have to be aborted because they can’t afford to keep the kids, But what if they do keep them? I think maybe the tax payers will be paying for them too…

@Trish: You and I share a passion for the face to face.. I have been face to face with the same morons you mentioned. It was at the Gathering of Eagles 1 in DC. I was there I took my oldest son and my wife (Wife had all the bail money) it is a tough thing to be face to face with evil and hate and not fall into that trap. I am one with a very short fuse, and when I see idiocy I tend to react quickly.

Oh my- we have more in common than I thought! Those wonderful GOE’s come from miles around to assist us some weekends. There are a couple from New Jersey who join us, and a few more who get there on occasion too (Chris Hill and friends).
They are morons, completely insipid and nasty. They are banned from “mingling” now, so we take separate sides of the street because they actually had one of theirs, a liberal MAN hit our videographer GIRL in the face. He was arrested, as was another peacie, for pushing a cop.
@Trish: It is real funny how we always hear about the “Liberal Man, Hitting a woman on the right side” I can tell you this, the liberal nutbags have a real problem going after the MEN on the right side so you keep your self between the men in your group.

A few of them are VAWs too. Big bullies, with no spine! I do keep myself at a safe distance now that I know what they are capable of. The first week I went there, this same guy got right up in my face (pre-police restricted separation) and spit on me as he shouted “what do you mean by success in Iraq???? There’s no such thing possible. I know some Iraqis”
Like that meant anything. Anyway, people came to my aid and he was ushered away. But he did it each week to a new face. Right up until he hit the young lady with a camera. She wasn’t saying a word to him either. Nasty nasty liberals.
@Trish: The FEW Iraqi VETS.. there are VERY FEW that actually protest on the left side, there are some that won’t get involved even though they disagree with the war in Iraq.. BUT THE VAST MAJORITY of Iraq War vets want success for the Iraqi’s they want their buddies to come home to a hero’s welcome, and they want their buddies deaths to not have been for nothing. IF Iraq becomes a successful democracy in the next 20 30 years.. it will be because of OUR brave guys and the willingness of our president to sacrifice his career, and his parties career for that country.
I personally don’t see the risk/reward for it, but I think the history books might be friendly to the decisions of this time if we survive.
You said it all there. Amen to the heroes of this war and any previous ones. And I eblieve that Bush will be seen in a far better light, in history.

Quite frankly, I believe MOB has a GREAT and, moreover, very SIMPLE and ELEGANT solution to the conundrum of who stays employed and who gets sacked.

LOL! Yes, every week. It is a struggle- some of our guys tend to yell things at them, but we try to keep our tempers and maintain our side. Not easy when they have some really stupid signs- mostly anti- GW and Cheney- and some Saturdays they trot out little water-boarding and or coffin displays. They have one sign that they bring each week that says blah blah war crimes worst president blah blah, with a picture of our president on it. It is faded and worn, but they must like it a lot cause they keep on bringing it!
They claim to be pro-troop- they just want to bring them home. Then they enact these things that are totally offensive to our troops, and think it is peaceful and somehow helpful to the troops. We know better, and when we have active duty soldiers visit, they are forever grateful we are there.
So far, the only ones to get arrested, are the “peaceniks”!
