Obama gets credit for all of it and blame for none. When this DADT causes issues, when this START causes lives lost, when this TRILLION dollar stimulus causes the problems that the last one did, WHO gets the blame? Of course it’s the Republicans and deservedly so.
I don’t know when the “They want us to work together to accomplish the lefty agenda” became the mantra of Novembers elections but by GOD it sure as hell wasn’t my message. I guess the rest of America must be thrilled with the way Obama and the Republicans are working together…. 🙄
The Republicans held the line on the Dream act, for that Kudos. But you can hear Obama laying on the heart strings for the next push. He says he’s done more to secure our borders than any other, he says the border should be secure….
Obama sued AZ to keep AZ from enforcing our laws, he’s placed signs on parts of OUR COUNTRY in ENGLISH to keep AMERICANS OUT OF THE AREA BECAUSE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS…. But it’s okay there’s a sign there…
Every time Obama opens his mouth I guess an angel gets his wings. The Republicans that currently fill seats should be ran out on a rail. The ones that will still be there and voted for DADT, START and this new stimulus need to be removed ASAP… IF the tea party doesn’t fight tooth and nail to remove them from power in 2012, the tea party will be irrelevant.

I’m not sure if I have ever seen such a push to pass legislation of this magnitude during a lame duck session of Congress. I am glad the Republicans were able to defeat the DREAM Act, at least for the time being, but I wish they had held the line on these other issues as well. I don’t have as much a problem with DADT as I do with some of the rest of what you mentioned, but I still think they should have taken more time. The implications of some of this will be very far-reaching.
LD, you do know the reason DADT was put in place don’t you? It wasn’t just to keep gays in check with their sexual desires, it was also to keep the overtly gay from making their uniforms and service as podium for their agenda… This is the problem I see coming. Pretty soon we will have “Gay soldiers” talking to the media about how they are being treated like lepers, or how they objected to an order because their beliefs contradict their commanders and it all happened because he doesn’t like gay people…It’s coming and its going to be a debacle.
The real is WHY? why was this such a must to get passed? Why is it necessary for gays to be able to come out and say they are gay in the service? Do hetero’s feel the need to say they are hetero in the service? I guess NOW they will have to.
Here’s another question: When a soldier has a picture of a big breasted female, and he shows it to his buddy and a “Gay Soldier” sees it, will he be able to have picture removed because it’s offensive to him? Will mural on planes during wartime now not be able to show the female form? I’m telling you the next steps are going to be motherfkr.
RINOs, still holding office, this far past elections, is a sad testament to our way of government… The House has seated new members, but the stogie Senate holds over and conducts *lame duck* bullshit and gets by with things that NEVER should have been…
