Ron Paul vs Ron Paul Supporters…

Ron Paul vs Ron Paul Supporters…

After 2008. The election of Barack Obama was the headline. Before 2008 the headlines were mostly McCain, Racism, RINO’s and Ron Paul… Ron Paul never got a fair shake in the media then and to this day still really doesn’t. But who’s fault is that?

Ron Paul has a speaking voice that cracks glass. His foreign policy views make MOST Americans cringe. His rampant “Constitutionalism” is a hard pill to swallow for most folks. Ron Paul is an absolutionist. Meaning it’s either ALL the way or NO WAY. So social issues and anything that is not expressly allowed in the constitution would get the veto. And some RIGHTLY SHOULD.

I have a real problem with Paul’s foreign policy but his domestic policy I could seriously get behind. The problem I have is NOT with Paul so much as it is his supporters.

The “Supporters” of Lord Paul are about as rabid in their support as the Islamic worshipers are of Allah..

IF ANY candidate’s support staff acts the way these Ron Paul supporters they can write me off as a potential vote for their cause. I’m sick of the “IF you don’t follow Paul, you’re not conservative” B.S. You Ron Paulbots have a worship style that borders on insane and I can say without a doubt Ron Paul will never be POTUS. His son Rand has a better shot at it. See if you can’t ruin his chances too…

The Rich must be Killed off…

The Rich must be Killed off…

I guess that’s the goal now… Once we tax them more, some will leave, some will say thank you, some will reduce work forces and benefits, some will raise prices, some will close up shop and some won’t change a thing…The point is right now if you are making a million dollars a year you should be tightening your belt a bit until you see what’s coming. IF you are making a billion dollars a year…. well, good for you.

What I would like is for someone to stand up and say “Obama please raise my taxes”…while at the same time be able to say I payed 20% (Or any number) ABOVE my required rate to help the economy in any year from 2005 through 2010.. Some of the older IN THE MONEY crowd who supports higher taxes for the M&B’s did you add to your tax rates in the 70’s? Just one please, anyone? Hello?… yeah thought not.

I listened to some guys on Bill O’Riley the other night talking about how they support Obama’s tax the rich policy. They were doctors and a lawyer I think. The question from Bill O’Riley was “Did you add to your tax rate voluntarily?” the answer was NO, with a lot of “ums an ohs” then the bell went off in one of them and he said “But I did donate the difference in the mandatory rate and what I should pay to charity”…WOW… Now this is where I hit the roof.

Our nation was founded on the belief that NEIGHBORS would help Neighbors. And when it was deemed NOT ENOUGH we got government programs. Some of them are needed and I can totally agree with. Others are enabling laziness and sloth and I wish they were stopped NOW.

The point is this:

IF the government took LESS from these rich folks, then the RICH folks would DONATE to charities they believe in and have control over where the money was spent… HELLO!!! Ding Ding Ding…

Let me explain something that few understand unless you are as close to it as I am.

Over the last 5 years there was a program called Angel Food (There are a couple others that did the same thing) They are a low cost food distributor that was financed through churches/rich folks/businesses and they fed MILLIONS every month for very low cost. Not given away just low cost. Basically it was 35 bucks for a couple weeks of food for a family of four.

August was their last delivery, they can’t maintain the service due to cost of food and lack of charitable donations. WHY?

The rich are tightening their belts. All these “Raise my taxes” folks aren’t helping Angel Food or any other charity’s. What does that do? That puts the ownership on the GOVERNMENT which is where DEMOCRATS want it.

Okay now is it becoming clear? When the rich get taxed more CHARITY will decrease. The “Rich” man O’Riley’s show made that perfectly clear. Ask around in your area, see how much “Charitable Contributions” have dropped off since the beginning of this year. After the “Summer of Recovery”….

CBC: We’d be marching on DC if Obama were white…

CBC: We’d be marching on DC if Obama were white…

This is the story (I’m sure many of the best bloggers around have already hit this.. Well at least the ones that aren’t too PC)

Story found at Hot Air

As chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, [Cleaver] has been at odds with President Barack Obama over his administration’s response to the soaring unemployment rate in the African-American community.

Nearing 17 percent, joblessness among blacks is at a three-decade high and almost twice the size of the overall unemployment rate. The black caucus wants the president to do more.

But the group’s efforts are freighted with political sensitivities, given Obama’s unique role as the first African-American occupant of the White House and the sometimes untethered animosity that his election has triggered.

“If (former President) Bill Clinton had been in the White House and had failed to address this problem, we probably would be marching on the White House,” Cleaver said. “There is a less-volatile reaction in the CBC because nobody wants to do anything that would empower the people who hate the president.”

I read a post by someone yesterday I think, that asked you to substitute every “African-American or Black” word in this story with “White” and change the name to “Eric Cantor” instead of Emanuel Cleaver (D-Racist.) And ask yourself does this seem racist? If you answer yes, then you must consider this statement by the “Congressional BLACK Caucus” racist and it should be condemned as much as it would be if any WHITE group said it.

What I find funny in a dangerous way is WHITE people are not up in arms over this. Black folks in power are throwing the race card all over the place and 99.9% of the time they are DEAD WRONG. But we allow it or “You’re a RACIST”…

Okay folks here goes the part of the post you can send to Attack Watch…

I’m betting 80% of them have been on the state’s tit for over 2 years… I’m also betting EVERY ONE OF THEM IN THAT ROOM VOTED FOR OBAMA! FK EM.

The Pendulum Swings….

The Pendulum Swings….

Every election year, it seems we deal with swings from one side to another. The pendulum theory is something we in manufacturing (There’s actually a few of us left here in America) deal with on a daily basis.

Basically it’s goes like this:

A problem occurs on the production floor. A quality issue is the most common. We have all kinds of procedures in place already to avoid the issue, however something or someone failed. So instead of taking care of the mechanical problem or the people problem, we institute MORE safeguards, more redundancy, more procedures that are not only benign but cause more problems down the line due to time spent on NEW procedures. A visual diagram of this would resemble a pendulum. The center being normal, after the issue the pendulum would swing HARD to one side, once that becomes normal the pendulum comes back until the next issue…..

I liken the pendulum theory to our Presidential elections:

Lets say our pendulum was centered prior to Carter (I know that is a piss poor time frame, but hey I’m not old enough to remember much about the prior POTUS’s) Carter moved the pendulum hard left, all the way up. Four years later we got Reagan, who moved the pendulum from the far left position to center right. It was a big swing in the area of the pendulum, but it didn’t move it all the way right. Reagan who we’ll call the nominal center, being this nation has always been center right. Although it was not dead center it was not too far right as to defy gravity. We stabilized over 12 years with various small moves one way or another. We then swung the pendulum left, past center again with the election of Clinton. Although, again not such a swing as Carter, it defied gravity a little at first but we got it back to left of center through various elections… So we sat slightly left of center for 8 years, then we got GWB and while many thought we were swinging wildly right we actually only moved it to center right, again defying gravity a little bit but still not wildly right. For 8 years we danced around the dead center of the pendulum radius…. Obama came in and we moved the pendulum far left another BIG swing, further than CARTER moved it at the beginning and here we sit…

The question is how far do we wish to move the pendulum this time? IF you put Obama far left, and I would say Ron Paul is the far right.

Do you think moving the country that far would actually solve anything?

We are a center right nation. At NO TIME in our history has the pendulum stayed at the furthest left position and our country been better off. What makes you think all the way RIGHT would be any different?

What I’m asking is, would it be better to swing back to the NORMAL, rather than the extreme? IF you support Ron Paul, you believe that a radical change is needed. I can agree with that. But at no time in our history have we went from one extreme to another in one fell swoop. That kind of swing may make some folks bat shit crazy and it probably won’t last more than 2 years. I’m thinking someone like Paul, who’s ideas are pretty far out there pertaining to foreign policy would be a shock to the system we’ve never had. However; a move from center right, to far right would be more acceptable to the masses…

As of now I can’t see Ron Paul winning the nomination. However; to those Paulies that will come here and parrot the Paul views, I’ll throw out this caveat: IF you honestly believe Paul’s views are the correct views for our nation. Tell Paul to drop out of the race and ADVISE another candidate. He could do more from that position than he will ever do where he is now. His son Rand may see the inside of the White House but I’m betting Ron wont.

Bubba Tells it LIKE IT IS!

Bubba Tells it LIKE IT IS!

Bubba gives a great 2nd Amendment Speech and lets the ignorant media hold both barrels.

Huge tip of the stetson to “The Daily Gator

Now tell me this man doesn’t lay it on the line. This 2nd Amendment speech is one for the ages. He’s done us a great service by posting this and if you can argue ANYTHING he said, you must realize YOU are the problem with this nation. And as such are my enemy, you are my hated adversary and you will be afforded NO RESPECT, NO CIVILITY, NO CORDIALITY.

This video found at daily gator was linked to “What Bubba Knows” I’m not sure if it’s the same Bubba. (I’m thinking it’s gotta be) but give the guy a read. He nails this whole debt limit debate with a perfect analogy. I’ll be adding his site to the “Best of the web” page soon.

Harry Reid finally puts up a plan…

Harry Reid finally puts up a plan…

Funny how it took this long isn’t it?

LATEST: DEMOCRAT SEN HARRY REID PROPOSAL

Rough notes from FNC producer Trish Turner about the Senator Harry Reid proposal:

•$1.2t – discretionary cuts – defense and non-defense. *Notes Boehner agreed to $1.2t before broke off talks w/ WH.

•$100b mandatory savings. Negotiated by Biden grp. Won’t impact Medicare, Medicaid, or SS benefits.

*Breaking this down-

*$40b in waste, fraud, abuse

*$30b in Fannie/Freddie reforms

*$15b in spectrum sales and Universal Service Fund Reforms

*$10-15b in agriculture reforms

*Higher education prog reform whose savings go to sustain the Pell Grant Program. (No dollar on this)

•$1t in savings from winding down the wars in Afgh and Iraq.

•$400b in interest savings.

Establishes 12-member joint Congressional Cmte to find future savings. To find additional savings.

Cmte’s recommendations will be guaranteed up/down vote in Senate, without amendment, by the end of 2011.

(Emphasis mine)

Let’s start with “40B in waste fraud and abuse” where have we heard that before? Oh yeah the health care debates, and the budget debates and the every debate regarding money since the 80’s. There shouldn’t be too much left in the pot should it?

Then lets talk about the “1t in savings from winding down the wars in Afgh and Iraq” Okay, this has already been done too right? I mean we have left Iraq according to the libbers, there’s no more fighting going on there so how does that contribute? Well our guys are still dying there but I guess that doesn’t count. And the Afghan war “Winding down?” is it really? Obama is pulling some troops out prior to election but is it really winding down? What happens if Afghanistan all of the sudden erupts into chaos (More than now) and you have to act on a”humanitarian” basis? That savings is cut down too… Or Iraq for that matter?… Where does 1 TRILLION dollars come from? Oh and lets not forget about the NOT war we’re in with Libya…

And the last really good typical Democrat ploy “Establishes 12-member joint Congressional Cmte to find future savings. To find additional saving” There ya have it folks, create a “COMMITTEE” and it solves everything… Well if you actually listen to the committee and if your committee isn’t full of idiots it might help… but never in the history of this administrations seat fillers has it been true. This is a typical “Don’t worry guys, we have people working on it” that’s enough to get us to the next election… DON’T FALL FOR THIS SHIT!

The last thing I want to bring up is this: We’ve been doing the debt dance for a month now. The Republicans have put fourth a couple plans. One plan, the CC&B plan has overwhelming support in America it was blocked in the senate. BY HARRY REID. Now, in a “CRISIS” we must pass HARRY’S plan… Um. NO. This is the typical Democrat tactic of “You can get stupid shit through the congress if the people believe it will be MORE stupid NOT TO.” This has got to stop. Boehner if you fold to this obvious bluff then you will lose your gavel in 2012.

Norway Shooting, Right Wing Terrorism…

Norway Shooting, Right Wing Terrorism…

Let me add a few more salient thoughts on the murder of 93+ people in Norway yesterday.

The anti-gun zealots seem to be latching on to this incident as a reason to add more stringent gun control measures in the USA.

This is not new, they’ve been using every murder by gun as a reason for advancing their agenda of disarming American Citizens.

What I have a real problem with is them telling me I can not protect myself from those who wish to do me or my family harm. We have seen it time and time again, the victim was unarmed the assailant was armed.

In a criminal action: Those with the gun make the rules. Those with the gun have the choice between mercy or violence, death and life. I prefer to have that choice myself. I prefer to have the ability to vote on the choice. IF you don’t feel the need to participate in that scenario its entirely up to you. IF you have such faith in your fellow man that you are willing to put your life in his hands, knock yourself out. I am all for your choice to do just that.

In the incident in Norway, a lone gunman for whatever reason took 93+ lives because HE COULD. IF you dispute that simple truth you are an idiot. Had there been some basic security in place and followed HE wouldn’t have killed anyone or very few. Another truth that is indisputable. Now comes the fun part…

The attacker came upon the camp dressed as a cop. A police officer in uniform is immediately deemed non-threatening. Therefor, it’s understandable to some degree that he was able to kill many. IF an armed cop, gave commands to a captive obedient audience, telling them to get into a perfect range and alignment for “Head count.”  It would be the perfect kill position. I can buy that scenario. I can even understand them obeying the commands because they are not going to QUESTION AUTHORITY right off. Even though there should have been questions. “Why was a cop there, we didn’t call one” But then again there was the truck bomb. So the cop saying something like “There’s been an attack in Oslo and I need to count heads” could diffuse any “Questions”

Truth be told this scenario would probably play out better in a CONSERVATIVE gathering than a liberal gathering here in the states. WHY? Because by ideology alone we view cops as the good guys. Yes there is a libertarian streak that doesn’t like some of the cops duties or actions. But as a whole Conservatives are LAW ABIDING. You don’t see conservative rally’s where the cops are called and we’re throwing rocks. You don’t hear of Rightwing Anarchist rallies. You don’t see it here in the states YET.
