War on Cops?
Seems some folks have the opinion that cops are the bad guys. Uniforms/tactical/badges/no badges/ whatever. And to me there’s enough bad cops out there to elicit that opinion from some. I can not support anyone who seriously believes ALL COPS are bad. The Law Enforcement community has earned a lot of the bad rap they get I’ll grant you that. But and this is where I have to draw the line. There are plenty of the boys in blue who are not the bad guys.
I have many LEO’s in my life. From uncles, to cousins and I lost a cousin in the line of duty. LEO’s have been from my experiences in the past 20 plus years, terrific public servants. Prior to those 20 years though, I had some serious issues with them…
I want people to know a couple things.
1. I am NOT Anti-Police in any way shape or form.
2. I am ANTI-ABUSE OF AUTHORITY.
3. I am ANTI-DUMBASS, Badge or no badge.
4. I alone will decide WHO I associate with. LEO or otherwise.
5. If I come upon an officer in need, odds are I’m helping them. Since when trouble arises, they are the first ones to show up for people who call.
6. A LEO is a human being. Therefor is faulty. Decisions made by one officer during contact doesn’t mean he’s an asshole. He could have just got done dealing with OTHER assholes and it may have rubbed off.
7. Respect for a LEO doesn’t mean you “Worship” or “Kneel in front of” them. It means you handle yourself with them as you would expect them to handle themselves. You try not to cuss first, you try to say sir, you try not to use terms like “Pig” “Screw” or “whatever”…. IF they pull you over, maybe there was a reason, if not you should win in court. The Cop on patrol is just a reporter, if he/she decides to ticket you it’s their call, it’s YOUR call to fight it in court.
8. LEO’s have families, friends and they deserve to go back home from a days work just like you. It was a career choice for them and they have a tough enough job without being hated for what SOME OTHER cop did to you.

Wow, the voice of COMMON SENSE… It’s a damned shame that the MORON that this is directed to is too stupid to comprehend it…
And as you say, Cops have done a lot to hurt their profession, but by far, it’s been a very small number of those kind of Cops that did…
One bad apple CAN make the whole barrel smell bad, but Cop Hating ASSHOLES can’t get that through their hateful heads..
Common sense is surely missing among a few of our side of the aisle. This is directed to ALL of the IIIpers. Not one individual. It’s directed to a few commenters who have weighed in with cop hating rhetoric. My point in this was to say if you have an issue with ONE cop, give his/her name and WHY they “Wronged you” I’ll help you blast their ass if they were wrong in dealing with you. But to take the “ALL are bad” stance is ignorance.
Fully agreed… If a Cop does wrong I want him taken down too… THAT is the part the Cop Haters just don’t get…
But, basically, the HATERS are MORONS…

Then, when it’s all over, Officer Obie will come over to you and thank you- then arrest you for violating some piss-ant law you didn’t even know about- but he’ll leave the handcuffs loose because he likes you.

I have a family and friends- why should I or my dog have to die to make it easier on the cop who chose to do what he’s doing?

you should be careful what you post on the internet. please do not misunderstand me when I write, “you should be careful what you post on the internet.” Please understand that it is a cop’s job to look at all things, research all things, investigate all things, and make busts. And a cop does carry that training over into their private life, just the same as cops sometimes don’t wear uniforms on duty.
So, guess what: if you’re on the net making fun and mocking cops and saying “war on cops war on cops etc etc”, it is common sense that somewhere there’s a little piggy who wants your IP address and they want you under investigation and they want you to be in court and they want you on a misdemeanor for slander of cops or whatever the case may be.
Website admins who want to get you in trouble are glad to hand your IP information or any information you provided over to law enforcement, it gives admins favor with piggies and derision of you makes admins feel powerful.
Alls I’m saying is; don’t think for a second that your information and what you post is private on the net. Let the cops do harm to themselves, you know; because anyone who is willing to take a shit job like being a cop, is asking for shit anyway. A cop gets paid very little to do what they do and put up with the shit they put up with.
Ultimately: be careful what you post on the net, let corrupt politicians and bogus cops say whatever they want about their employ and what war is against them or not, and finally; censorship of what you say is illegal but just be cautious about what you say on sites that may be a trap to get you into trouble.
LEO… Did you happen to read the post? Did you happen to notice that it wasn’t ME declaring war on cops it was me declaring my stance on what has appeared to be a “War on cops”… IF you read the post before you make long comments it will help. just sayin.
Apparently, LEO is a *challenged* LEO that if he is a LEO at all, barely passed his POST or TCLOSE certifications…
One thing is a certainty, he damn sure needs to try re-reading this, and comprehending the REAL meaning of it…
