Right NOW. I need everyone, regardless of where you live to send a message to the Texas Governor Rick Perry. Let him know you would like Ted Nugent appointed to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Directors post.

I can’t think of a better person in the world for that job and since Texas is in AMERICA we need Good conservative leadership in all posts, but this one in particular. If you are a hunter, a trapper, a fisherman, or an outdoors lover this post should be very important to you.

Ted Nugent will do ALL Texans proud in this spot. And by extension, show the rest of the nation what TRUE leadership looks like.

Please do us all a favor and ask Rick Perry to make this appointment.

  2. Ted’s fan base needs to get involved in a BIG way… We have 52 or so signers at this time… It appears that this is going over like asking TEA Party people to actually DO something…

    1. Kate, Ted said he’d be honored if appointed. We wouldn’t have started this without his OK. That would kind of suck if Perry asked him and he said no… Ted’s more than willing to sacrifice for the good of the state of Texas and I truly believe his leadership in Wildlife management would benefit ALL states…

      Fred, His base is on it, however stuff like this tends to take a day or two to get started real good. Ted knows who is helping in this effort and he’s very grateful. Thanks to you and I we’ve made a dent in the effort wagon. There’s stuff going on behind the scenes too. Email lists, personal hands being shook too… Just having Ted’s name mentioned and Perry thinking about it is a huge plus.

    1. Well Kate, GMTA, That was the very first question I asked too. During the discussion on the NUGE board we got all fired about the possibility, and nobody thought to ask ted so I did…He responded with “I’d be honored to serve the state of Texas if the Gov. needs me to”

      Thanks Bob, we really need to get this out there. IF Ted Nugent can bring some common sense to the government beast in ANY capacity it can only help the nation. IF he was to be appointed, and was successful as he’s been on his own land and others, the rest of the clowns in other states will have to take notice.

  7. How can anyone support an admitted Vietnam War draft dodger for any public position. Not a only a draft dodger but he alos plead gulity tto game violations in California. To support this worthless person is a slpa in the face to every Veteran that served.

  8. Okay Herman here’s how: Do you have any idea of what Ted does for vets NOW, for over 25 years? Do you think he may have made amends for his actions if your accusations were even remotely true? You would treat him in the same manner as Fonda? Or is it just that your progressive slant is showing? I’m guessing you are probably against ANY conservative, and so you latch on to the “Draft dodger” mantra that has been debunked. But that’s okay, We will still fight for your freedom to be an idiot.

  9. Please consider how Ted Nugent is and eye sore and dispectable person in the eyes of all the vistors and the names on the Wall. Remember all our POW/ MIA and Armed Force Personell that served there country when called to duty honorably.

    Nugent is NOT fit to serve on any postion of authority with TPWD.

They hang with folks like Code pink, and Vets against the war, they have used this bullshit “Draft dodger” meme for years, although they are the same folks that give Hanoi Jane a pass.
