The Rich must be Killed off…

The Rich must be Killed off…

I guess that’s the goal now… Once we tax them more, some will leave, some will say thank you, some will reduce work forces and benefits, some will raise prices, some will close up shop and some won’t change a thing…The point is right now if you are making a million dollars a year you should be tightening your belt a bit until you see what’s coming. IF you are making a billion dollars a year…. well, good for you.

What I would like is for someone to stand up and say “Obama please raise my taxes”…while at the same time be able to say I payed 20% (Or any number) ABOVE my required rate to help the economy in any year from 2005 through 2010.. Some of the older IN THE MONEY crowd who supports higher taxes for the M&B’s did you add to your tax rates in the 70’s? Just one please, anyone? Hello?… yeah thought not.

I listened to some guys on Bill O’Riley the other night talking about how they support Obama’s tax the rich policy. They were doctors and a lawyer I think. The question from Bill O’Riley was “Did you add to your tax rate voluntarily?” the answer was NO, with a lot of “ums an ohs” then the bell went off in one of them and he said “But I did donate the difference in the mandatory rate and what I should pay to charity”…WOW… Now this is where I hit the roof.

Our nation was founded on the belief that NEIGHBORS would help Neighbors. And when it was deemed NOT ENOUGH we got government programs. Some of them are needed and I can totally agree with. Others are enabling laziness and sloth and I wish they were stopped NOW.

The point is this:

IF the government took LESS from these rich folks, then the RICH folks would DONATE to charities they believe in and have control over where the money was spent… HELLO!!! Ding Ding Ding…

Let me explain something that few understand unless you are as close to it as I am.

Over the last 5 years there was a program called Angel Food (There are a couple others that did the same thing) They are a low cost food distributor that was financed through churches/rich folks/businesses and they fed MILLIONS every month for very low cost. Not given away just low cost. Basically it was 35 bucks for a couple weeks of food for a family of four.

August was their last delivery, they can’t maintain the service due to cost of food and lack of charitable donations. WHY?

The rich are tightening their belts. All these “Raise my taxes” folks aren’t helping Angel Food or any other charity’s. What does that do? That puts the ownership on the GOVERNMENT which is where DEMOCRATS want it.

Okay now is it becoming clear? When the rich get taxed more CHARITY will decrease. The “Rich” man O’Riley’s show made that perfectly clear. Ask around in your area, see how much “Charitable Contributions” have dropped off since the beginning of this year. After the “Summer of Recovery”….

Buffet and Ron Howard.. Truth?

Buffet and Ron Howard.. Truth?

Note to all these so-called “Tax the Rich” Rich folks.. Since you are playing in the field usually only occupied by Al Gore. I ask you to show the people that you have contributed ADDITIONAL Taxes on your personal tax forms over the last 10 years. Hell have you done it in the last 3 years?….

Unless you have PERSONALLY took it upon yourself to add to your OWN TAX RATES by checking the “Voluntary tax contribution” box on your returns. STFU. You are acting a lot like Al Gore. Al, as you know is famous for telling us to mind our carbon footprint while his footprint is increasing and is larger than most small towns.

Show me that you have “Put your money where your mouth is” and I’ll support your “Tax the Rich more” push. You have NOT led by example, You are a hypocrite and in typical liberal fashion you want to “Tell people what is right, while you do something different”…

IF the taxes on the rich go up, and unemployment rates climb, will YOU be hiring more people? Will you NOT reduce your personal work force to maintain the bottom lines of your respective companies?

In short, don’t tell me how to live while you sit on your throne doing as you please. Don’t piss on my foot and tell me it’s rain.

Republican tactical advice:

Republican tactical advice:

Allow the tax on the rich ASAP. Raise it to whatever the most LIBERAL of politicians want. Raise it and then make it retroactive if it will make them happy. Do it and do it now. My apologies to those that will be affected but we need to do it for one reason. To see who the next victim of the democrats will be. Sign the tax rate increase into law ASAP please. Then when the unemployment rate and inflation rises, we’ll be able to say we told you so. Then when the election is finished, we can repeal it just like Obama care, and get the country moving again.

Sorry rich dudes. If you know it’s coming, you are pretty smart right? Take your money out of the USA prior to the signage. You know, maybe ask Warren Buffet how to do it…

IF you take away the excuses from the liberals, the only thing left will be fault. THEIRS. We need to pull this bandage off quickly. We need to take the pain RIGHT NOW so our kids don’t have to bear it. WE BETTER for their sake.

Recession, Depression, Inflation, Taxation and a FUBAR Nation.

Recession, Depression, Inflation, Taxation and a FUBAR Nation.

IF you have any money in the stock market, you should be thinking about removing it and investing it in a can for burial in the back yard. (IF you still have a yard)

I’ve been reading several investors articles, and some business journals. Now I want you all to know I don’t treat business like I do political differences. I believe money is green and it doesn’t matter your political opinions, every one needs and wants money. There are good things you can do with money and very few good things you can do without it.

That being said, on both sides of the political spectrum, investors are running. Investors do not see the “Light at the end of the tunnel” that they did when the Presidential powers switched hands. Business investors, company owners, large and small cap businesses and your average retirement investor are all in unison saying there is a large drop coming.

I’ve opined about this before, matter of fact in 2006, we had a great conversation over at Jenns and here about what would happen to the economy if the “Democrat Tsunami” came to pass. The Democrats took control of both houses and the economy tanked shortly there after.

It’s important to look at why, and it’s really important to understand a couple of things:

1. The rich are demonized now. They are the target of every democrat looking to save their seat or take one from another democrat. They are being led in their “Tax the Rich” cheer by the head Democrat Barack Obama. When you are the target of an attack what do you do? You can take it and say please don’t hurt me…OR you can fight back. Right now the rich are fighting back. And they are doing it RIGHT.

The rich, who by the way are the ones that provide jobs, are saying ok, you are going to tax me because I’m rich. I’ll get richer, to cover the taxes and maintain my lifestyle. I’ll do more with less, I’ll cut staff, I’ll cut costs and I’ll up prices to cover my current expenses. Business 101; Survival.

Businesses have a lot at stake, they have employees that have been with them for longer than Bush or Obama have been in office and they are trying to keep them. They will not take risks that may cost their employees and their own solvency.

2. Business are recording good profits. Many businesses are actually having record earnings. BUT they are not going to risk anymore because they will not be too big to fail. They will get taxed more, pay more for their employees insurance, spend more on the regulations, lawyers, and the ever looming disaster known as OBAMACARE is putting a big cloud over jobs. Jobs are needed to spur revenue for the states and federal system.

Unfortunately the current crop of leaders do not understand the concept of supply and demand, supply side economics nor do they understand the will of the people. The people are not all stupid. The rich got rich by being smarter than the rest of us. The rich can be your friend, they can be your best ally or in this case can be your worse enemy.

The Obama, Pelosi and Reid TRIAD of DOOM have made a blunder of epic proportions. They have placed their careers ahead of the nations well being. They have banked on the anger of the inner cities to garner votes by bashing the rich. The rich (Anyone making over 250k a year they say) are sick of being targets.

Imagine you being one of those that made 252k a year, running a small business and had 7 employees. You are demonized, you are taxed unfairly and every time you turn on the TV someone with a “D” in front of their name is demanding more from you. How do you hire anyone else? Most of the people in that predicament have shut their doors and either found work somewhere else, or decided to retire. So what happened to the 7 employees? Yep ladies and gentlemen they are now part of the 9.6 to 13.2% unemployed.

So where are we headed? According to many economists, investors, and stock market dabblers, we are headed for Recession, depression, inflation, and higher taxation.

GOD save our country.
