Stand Your Ground Law under attack…

Lets dissect this for a second.

Schumer calls for Hill hearings on ‘Stand Your Ground’

New York Sen. Chuck Schumer is calling for hearings into Florida’s controversial “Stand Your Ground” law in the wake of the killing of teenager Trayvon Martin.

Appearing on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday, the Democratic senator argued that the law, which empowers a person to use deadly force when he or she is under serious threat, impeded investigations into killings like Martin’s. George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman who shot Martin, has held that he’s protected under the law.

“I think we should examine this law,” Schumer said.

Florida is one of several states that has embraced the law.

Now think about it. The stand your ground law means you do not have to cower in a corner to avoid prosecution for defending yourself. That’s the basic premise of the law. You do NOT have to give in to the demands of others, you may STAND YOUR GROUND and FIGHT BACK. Thats it. That’s the law in a nut shell. Now if you are proven to the be the aggressor the law doesn’t apply. So who benefits from removing the stand your ground law? Criminals. Just like GUN LAWS in general, they benefit NOBODY other than criminals and Government. (I repeat myself I know)

Now who do you suppose is most likely to vote democrat? Folks with questionable character who believe everyone has the right to do whatever they want I guess. The folks who gave us “Just give the robbers what they want and they’ll leave” The folks that say “Do as your told and the bad guys won’t kill you”… The same folks that say, “You can replace your valuables, but your life can’t be replaced so give them what they want”….

These sayings were true back in the day for 75% of crimes committed against persons. We live in a different time. We live in a time where the convict has more rights than the victim. We live in a time that has seen countless rapes and murders happen during robberies. We’ve seen home invasions, muggings and shootings of innocent people by thugs and illegals and white trash varmints. We’ve seen it, and we’ve had enough.

The stand your ground law is a RIGHTEOUS law. So is the Castle Doctrine. So guess who’s against them? Yep the criminals.

How dare “We the People” make a law that actually gives the citizenry a chance to fight back. When you were in school and bully picked on you, once the fear gave way to anger, and you STOOD YOUR GROUND, what happened 99% of the time to the bully? He left you the hell alone. (Or you got your ass whooped again) But you gained respect from others for standing. If you were like me, after the ass whooping, it was time for round 2. And if needed round 3 and 4 etc.

My Motto in school was simple and it stays with me now: “I am NOT the baddest SOB to ever walk on planet earth, but the baddest don’t mess with me” For one reason, it’s work. Bully’s are a lot like criminals, they hate work. They are looking for easy targets. The stand your ground law makes the criminal think. Will this be an easy score? Or will I have to work to make this guy/gal a victim?…

Why is it Democrats are the first to fight laws that allow a person to defend themselves? Why do you think that is? Democrats need SHEEP. They need you to depend on them for your life. Republicans for all their faults know YOU are responsible for YOU.
