Ron Paul, GOP’s best chance to Beat Obama?

Ron Paul, GOP’s best chance to Beat Obama?

WOW! Okay, that’s a damn shame. GO HOME Ron Paul!

CNN Poll: Still no front-runner in the battle for the GOP nomination

Greenville, South Carolina (CNN) – A new national poll indicates the race for the Republican presidential nomination remains wide-open, with none of the probable or potential GOP White House contenders above 20 percent, according to a new national poll.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey’s Thursday release comes hours before the first Republican presidential debate of the 2012 election cycle. The debate is being held in South Carolina, which holds the first southern primary on the road to the White House.

The poll also indicates President Barack Obama is ahead of all probable and possible GOP candidates tested in hypothetical general election matchups, but the person who comes closest to Obama may surprise you.

Okay here’s my two cents on Ron Paul.  And I will say this as clearly as possible for all to understand.

Ron Paul can’t win. Ron Paul is NOT the President our nation needs. Ron Paul IS NOT the man to beat Barack Obama and if he did WE WOULDN’T BE ANY BETTER OFF!

Now, before you ronulans get your panties all shoved up in your wetness, let me explain AGAIN since I did it in 08 too.

Ron Paul has some valid points in SOME areas. He is DEAD WRONG in others and has refused to alter any of those beliefs over the years. He complains about “Pork” then adds “Pork” on bills he’s sure that will pass without his vote. That’s not INTEGRITY, that’s a politician. His stance on foreign policy is DEAD WRONG. He is of the same mind as Obama in that regard. So I say again I will not for Ron Paul. If he is a third party candidate he’ll assure Obama of 4 more years, IF he is on the “R” ticket he will assure Obama of 4 more years. Ron Paul is exactly where he needs to be, just like Sarah Palin.

I am not going to rehash the “Ron Paul” debates with the “Paulinista’s” we did enough of that in 08. This time, a comment from a Paul supporter will be trashed before it sees the light of day here. I’m done with the B.S.

The ONLY candidate that can beat Obama was not on the debate stage tonight. His name is Allen West. And if any of you so-called “Americans” can’t see that then BOHICA 4 more of an Obamanation…

  1. Mr. Paul also brought up the legalization of heroin. “How many people here would use heroin if it was legal?” he asked the audience, which again erupted in applause.

Is there ANY doubt that Ron Paul is a MORON?

Absolute distortion. Why don’t you tell the truth? Here’s the full quote by Dr. Paul:
“What (the moderator is) inferring is: ‘you know what, if we legalize heroin tomorrow, everybody is going to use heroin. How many people here would use heroin if it was legal? I bet nobody would … ‘oh yea, I need the government to take care of me; I don’t want to use heroin so I need these laws!'” which erupted with applause.

Ron Paul implied the only way you can protect liberty is if you are consistent “across the board”; if you allow the government to mandate drug use, then they can also mandate, as Dr. Paul puts, what we “eat and drink,” which is already happening.

I can’t help but find it ironic that the banner on this site shows the preamble of the Constitution, yet this article bashes the one of the strictest constitutional politicians in Washington D.C.

Pardon me for quoting Batman Begins, but there is such a powerful quote in that movie. “People fear what they don’t understand.”

    Perhaps you don’t understand liberty.

    1. Dumb Dumb (Now that’s ironic) Um please tell me about liberty… Ron Paul’s idea of liberty would be anarchy now. Had we stuck with his ideals since the revolutionary war MAYBE we could and would be in a better place but WE DIDN’T. What he suggests now is a recipe for disaster. In Our nation now we have way too many people that can’t handle true liberty.

I’d like to hear how he planned on dealing with the mayhem that would come from unbridled liberty? Would murderers be killed right away? Would robbers and thieves be handled the way they used to be? Would there be severe punishment for those convicted of crimes against MY liberty?

All Ron Paul wants to talk about is “Legalize” this or that… no mention of the degradation to society and how he planned on handling it… He also want’s all of our military basically brought home and disarmed. Turned into a militia more than a force for good in this world. You may want to start with other other nations before you worry about how bad we are. Honestly Dumb Dumb you’re guy is a moonbat just like the rest of the idiots the GOP keeps putting up.
We need an ALLEN WEST not a whining moonbat to win 2012. We already have one in office.

  3. My liberal friend who claims to be a ‘left leaning moderate’ likes Ron Paul so maybe there is an ounce of truth in this.

My bud and I served together in ’79-’80, and I’d still fight for him, but he offers a good litmus test as to where Ron Paul is on the political meter… NUTTER!

  4. I have no idea how you can call Ron Paul names, only a fool or uneducated Junior High level of intelligence bully would do that and think they were taken seriously. Paul speaks of liberty, small government, abiding by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, paying off the Nations debt, making the Fed tell us were the money went. Nothing goofy about those values. and a return to our forefathers thoughts on how this country was born. On the drug use increase, please only fool and an idiot would use those drugs anyway was his point! My parents taught me how to act, live on a budget, not use drugs, and also told me of the consequences of doing the opposite would be misery. Obama is just a George bush on steroids, doing his best to destroy America, its not a Republican or Democrat thing. The Bankers have controlled the country since 1913. Look up “the Money Masters”, “The Creature From Jekyll Island” and the history of the Rothschild banking Cartel and get some real facts, not the complete Bull that is the mainstream media that most of the sheep take as facts, they are owned by the Feds. Central Bankers want it all and that includes controlling most of the politicians as well. Ron Paul and Judge Napalitano for President and V.P., thats my vote.

  5. Jerry.. May I call you Jerry? Let me start by saying FUCK YOU. Hope that helps. Start a dialog as well as your “Only a fool” dipshit comment starting line.

You and I may be smart enough and had parents that taught us well, Unfortunately MOST don’t seem to have that luxury, that’s why our prisons are full. It’s NOT because drugs are illegal. Read my latest reasoning on that particular point. IF you can dispute it, then you are too far gone and should be lumped in with the rest of the moonbats on MSNBC.

  6. Dumb Dumbass and Jerry the Paul bot… What a pair…

Some folks get GREAT pairings, A&P gets Dumbass and Jerry… LMAO

  7. Apparently no one on this board understands sound logic, and instead is only capable of throwing around ad hominem fallacies. It’s quite ironic; let’s call someone else stupid, while we show we are wholly incapable of coming up with anything other than insults. Sorry bro, that doesn’t belong in a debate, and shows you to be the “Moron”.

  8. Zak, are you serious? WOW, all you moonbats from the “Paul” camp seem to run the “ad hominem” attack show. Anyone that disagrees with the head moonbat Paul are labeled by your kind. How bout you get a real clue and look at who you are supporting? You’re supporting a guy that believes we should go back to 19th century ideals. The world has evolved and those “Ideals” are not viable now. Just take a look at his recent statement regarding UBL’s killing… All anyone needs to hear is that B.S. See ya Ronny, it’s been fun.

  9. Riiiiiiiight. Having our forces spread out so thin is an excellent recipe to keep us protected, because watch out, Hitler may rise from the Dead, the Japanese may start flying planes into our ships again, and the Roman empire could rise again to take back it’s glory. It’s so obvious why we need all these forces in those countries. I mean, how else will our 18 year old soldiers get to party?

Also, you talk about “the degradation of society”, perhaps you should wake up and look around; society is already degraded because people are doing these thing that Paul wishes to legalize outside the law. Making something illegal isn’t going to stop it, it is only going to fuel organized crime. perhaps you should look up what happened during prohibition? The only thing these laws help are drug cartels. They’ve been laughing all the way to the bank, because making them illegal raises the prices of such drugs. Prices which people will pay. If they were ever made legal, then these drug cartels would go out of business. They WANT drugs to be illegal, you fool.

Also, you haven’t really come up anything to back your arguments outside your colorful rhetoric and biased opinion, which as stated before, has no basis in a debate. Think of something else better than saying “Oh well you’re stupid for thinking that” or “it won’t work”. Critical thinking is your friend.

    1. Okay Zaky, here goes one more try… Let’s take one section at a time so you can follow easily okay punkin?

You say “Hitler or Japan may rise” or some stupid shit in defense of bringing all our troops home.. I’m surely not too happy about having our troops spread out all over the globe, however; We have an all volunteer force. You bring them home then what? 500k unemployed ex soldiers? Then what? How do you suppose Paul will react to issues that arise out of our absence in places like SK, POL, And any of the muslim countries we’re currently in. How would he handle the “Isolationist” ideology when what we all know would happen happens…Also, did ya know a lot of the places our troops in contribute greatly to our economic well being? I guess that’s okay we can survive with a wall around us.

You mention legalizing (Shocked that you agree with it… sarcasm) We’ve had drugs illegal for ever there’s a reason very few areas on earth have legalized heroin. I shouldn’t even have to tell you stupid that is. Organized crime? Uh yeah, I don’t really expect the next “Miller” or “Budweiser” of heroin to be built on the basis of legalizing the drug but hey once it’s legal it could. How bout that? Maybe when the soldiers that are out of a job decide hey i’ll give this heroin a shot…. Yeah nothing bad could happen there…

Zak you and your Paul worship are out of line as always. Paul would have been just fine about 100 years ago. The world has changed, we can be a part of it or we can watch it go by. Under Paul’s leadership our nations status in the world would be damaged beyond repair. Obama has hurt us, but 4 years of Paul would ruin us. I can’t imagine even the staunchest conservatives in either house or senate supporting some of his bullshit.

Last word on this (I can do that because I pay rent here) Paul is not presidential. He has some domestic issues dead nuts on. He is DEAD wrong on so many items of TODAY’S world that he comes of goofy… Hence the term “Moonbat”

      Have a nice day.

      1. I’d sure like to hear Paul’s explanation of 9-11 and UBL:

“He can’t admit that bin Laden was actually responsible for the 9-11 attacks. Apparently, bin Laden only “applauded” the attacks on the US. But, some how, even though bin Laden only applauded the attacks, his death is “justice served”, in Paul’s words.”

  10. well robert if youd done your history youd know that the CIA was funding Bin Laden and brought him into power in the 80s to fight the soviets in Afganastan… so i think Ron Paul since he is consistent would say we shouldnt have started that back then… and in some ways our foreign policy is whats contributing to ‘terrorism’

stop believing all the rhetoric they say on the msnbc and foxnews… start thinking for yourself

    1. Jamison, Um YES, you are correct but you (Along with the media, and most idiots in our nation) discount the “Why we helped them” part. And the “Why” is very important. The cold war was on, it was a political war like no other. Do YOUR homework on WHY and understand there was more at stake…. Also remember that the SOVIETS were helping the VK’s so it was a little payback too… Right or wrong, doesn’t matter. The genie was out of the bottle a long time ago. That talking point you guys stick to is a dead one.. find a better one.
