Ron Paul closes in on Newt….

Well never let it be said the GOP faithful won’t consider all options… But damn.

In Iowa, Paul closes to within one point of front-runner Gingrich

Texas Rep. Ron Paul has surged to second place in a new Iowa poll of likely Republican caucus goers, just one percent behind former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the current front-runner.

Paul has consistently placed in the top tier of Republican presidential candidates in recent Iowa polls. With Iowans heading to vote in only three weeks, Gingrich holds a razor-thin 22–21 lead.

The poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling, found weakening support for Gingrich among self-identified tea partiers, and a dramatic rise in Paul’s favorability rating.

Now don’t get me wrong Paul is dead nuts on about SOME things domestically. However; he’s so FUBAR over others it drowns out the Good ideas he has. Ask his buddy Alex Jones and the 9-11 truthers. All of this “Keep to ourselves” talk has been done before. Just prior to Poland and France being invaded that was the “English” view.

We want to change this drastically? You want to see Obama vs Paul? I sure as hell can’t see that as an Obama remover. I see it as a sign of the apocalypse.

I hate to say it, but I swear before GOD ALMIGHTY, I’ll stay home and clean my guns election night if I have to choose between Obama and Paul. Sorry Paul fans, but anyone who aligns themselves with 9-11 truthers, and Alex Jones is just as bad or worse than Obama.

I’ll vote for ANYONE other than Obama or Paul. IF those are my choices my choice will be NONE of the above.
