How do WE Unite America?

I don’t think it’s possible. And WHO would direct the unification? Obama who claimed to be the first post racial president has been more divisive than ANY before him. I’m sure the progressives would place all the blame on us conservatives and we place the blame all on the left.

So how do we bridge that gap? Or are we destined to be a nation in divide?

At some point, a nation as divided as we are gets into the streets. Throughout history there are examples of nations who were divided as we are. There’s never been a nation in history, who’s population is so divided along ideological lines that solved their differences without bloodshed. We are a nation SPLIT. We the people of the United States are divided worse than we were during the Civil War.

If this election of 2012 is decided in the courts again (ala GWB vs Gore) and the R wins, you can bet on an uprising. IF the media plays a role in calling this a stolen election and the first “Black” POTUS is removed in a close election, you can bet on massive violence.

On the Conservative side, if Obama is Re-elected in a close vote, look for massive tea party rallies to make a resurgence. Look for OWS and Tea Party clashes. It’s going to happen IF the vote is close.

The way around the violent uprising or clashes or potential disaster is simple. A leadership change who would UNITE a broken country. And personally I don’t see one this year. IF we can hang on until 2016, maybe. But this year the divide is going to actually be greater than it has been.

Reality is funny. We conservatives want a real choice between the Democrats and our candidate. We’ve wanted that for a very long time. What we have now is two versions of Democrats and that’s been our choice in the last couple elections. What we need is a clear choice. Let the voters decide which side is the best side by actions. As of now we have center if we’re lucky and left normal. How’s that worked out?

Uniting the country around a leader happens when the leader is proven to be correct in his/her decisions, when the nation is moving as it should, not stagnant and celebrated for not going down, not gimmicks, not lies, not a shady behind the scenes leadership style that we’ve seen for the last several years. That has given birth to serious trust issues and the poll numbers of our leadership reflects it.

Someone needs to show up in a hurry or we’ll go the way of Rome and every country after who divided the population.
