California Snow

California Snow

Well we survived the snow storm, I know some of you were worried about us :rotflmao:

Seriously the little bit of weather that rolled through here caused many a frazzled nerve for the SHEEP, but us wolves were not worried at all.

Driving around town was comical,  there were people freaking out about mud puddles, running to keep from getting wet, and complaining about the cold and rain even though we are in a DROUGHT. I actually enjoyed the day, I sat here and got some work done in front of the fireplace, and we were prepared for power outages.

The best part about the WINTER in my area of California is the aftermath, the scenery is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

We love to just take off and drive..

We took a fire road up to a peak

So no need to worry about us, we are fine, as a matter of fact we are thinking of a hiking trip in this area once the snow melts..

    1. Actually Fred, it’s in Riverside County, just south of Corona in the hills of Lake Mathews. Awesome million(s) dollar horse properties. That’s what makes it unusual, the snow never gets that low. DAMN GLOBAL WARMING, DAMN YOU AL GORE!!!! LOL

  1. Maybe for the sake of adventure you should try hiking in the snow!! I personally never have, but it can’t be worst than the time I hike in jungles. :hole:

    Isaacs Is talking about..Total spin

  2. Still the cleanest I have seen the air out there in a long time…

We were in L.A. once after a 3 day rain and I never knew it was SO damned pretty out there, went around the 610 all the way back to the 5 and it was beautiful…

  3. Issac, I’d love to hike in the snow, we did in Yellowstone and the Tetons, the only problem is the trails vanish under the snow on seldom traveled trails. It makes following the trail difficult. But we plan on it anyway. :dancinghappy:

Fred, Yeah the air is crisp and clear, it’s almost like living in AMERICA, well until you look at your fellow road travelers and realize you are actually in Northern Mexico.

  4. We were suppose to have freezing rain today. but all we got was rain and a lot of it.

I’ve never been to CA when it snows, but I’ve been in OK and the ‘Deep South’ when it snows. It’s amazing to watch drivers try to go 80 mph on a 1/16 inch of snow or 6″ of water pooled on the highway. Ya need popcorn and beer for this.

  5. Oh poo. There are people who live with snow 6 months of the year, and still can’t drive in the stuff….STILL think it’s just peachy to do 80mph. Bozos.

Hey…you mean to tell me they haven’t made you tear out your fireplace out there??? 😉

    1. Kate, that’s why I love you, you are so PC.. :rotflmao:
Not yet, and when they do I’ll make headlines by burning libtards like yule logs.

  6. No snow here in the D.C. area so far this winter, though we had an inordinately cold November.

We’ve had rain and freezing rain, but no snow. :worried:

D.C. drivers can’t manage the snow any better than drivers in Southern California. It’s mass idiocy.

  7. Those are wonderful photos mr bushwack, I want to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas, start working on it next year it could be Feliz Navidad……..
