IF there was ever any doubt about the VP pick of Sarah Palin, it should be put to rest NOW. The Democrats are pissin in their pants over this, and the attack machine will be in full on rage. The media will assist the Democrats in the attack, but the AMERICAN Voter will rally around Sarah Palin, she is, as she was expected to be. AWESOME!

Sarah Palin stood strong in the face of the media onslaught, she never blinked. John McCain has gained some respect from me over the last couple of days, he had my respect for his service, but his real quality appears to be in recognizing the needs and acting on that realization.

He recognized Iraq was going wrong, he righted the ship, he recognized that he can’t win the WH without a Conservative base backing him and he picked Sarah Palin. Pandering if you will, but I honestly believe that Sarah and John share some core values that I fully agree with.

IF they win in November, and IF they can turn some things around, then the stench of GWB will be wiped off the party. The border problem will come up again MINUTES after the election, and McCain will need to remember WHO put him there.

You know this time frame thing must be the devils work, OR it’s true that Barrack Hussein Obama is the “Chosen One”.

The reason I say that is; Some of the best news out of Iraq has been happening while the country is focused on Sarah Palin, and Hurricane Gustav.

US says troops could quit Baghdad soon

General David Petraeus, the top US commander in Iraq, said declining violence in Baghdad raised the possibility that American combat troops could leave the capital by next summer.

Asked in an interview with the Financial Times whether it was feasible that US combat forces could leave Baghdad by July, he said: “Conditions permitting, yeah.”

That’s today’s News, Yesterday and the day before we were hearing about Anbar Province being handed over to Iraqi’s. Barely a mention on the major networks.

My point is; EVERYONE does not have the ability to pick the fly shit out of pepper. The folks on the internet, the bloggers, the researchers, either by hobby or work need to bring those uneducated voters that we meet every day into the know. The old media like CNN, MSNBC,CBS and a few others are driving this Obamamessiah thing, and as long as they can keep certain news on the back page MOST voters will never know the truth. I know the Liberals will say “What about Fox?” Yep we got ONE station, which happens to get more viewers than either of the others in AMERICA. However; even FOX has been complacent on several news items.

I also see some real sexism in the media, I am seeing what Hilary Clinton went through on the Democrat side, however she got many free passes that Sarah Palin has not. I think Obama is truly a Muslim, they don’t like women being in leadership positions..just sayin.

A couple more things:

Rumor has it McCain might be dropping Sarah Palin as VP running mate, or at least the odds have dropped in the betting pools. Let me state this as clear as possible:
IF MCCAIN DROPS PALIN, OBAMA WINS THE WH.
I will drop McCain, and I am sure the majority of Republicans even those RINO’s that blindly follow Bush will have no choice but to turn their backs on McCain for good.

Most of us on the right side of the aisle welcome the fight, and I think Palin has a stronger hand to play than Obama or Biden so bring on the fight.

Ok I would much rather have a stealth muslim, a woman that hates her country, and a racist preacher running the free world.. That we are even having a discussion on what is worse, is a testament to how fucked we truly are.

I do have a real question that kind of goes along the same lines of thinking as the liberals “IF she can’t control those under how can she be president” line of thinking:

Obama and Biden have both said Children are off limits, so why are the Ko’s kids, and Wonkette and the like continuing the assault? they aren’t listening to their GOD Obama? how can that be? I cry BULLSHIT, in public they say one thing, in private they are preparing for their Presidential Innauguration speeches.

Exactly what does that have to do with Sara Palin’s ability or qualifications?

If you suggest that because her daughter is a TYPICAL teenager, who might experiment with sex and alcohol before she comes of age. YEP the kid grew up in Alaska, so it would be a MIRACLE if the kid didn’t do drugs,smoke, drink and have sex. Mom has given all the same info to her kids that I am sure most parents give theirs. How many of our kids listened? Yep not many.

And if you suggest that because mom is running for office so her family is fair game, fine.

I wish Sarah Palin could control her children better, I really think this is a bad thing for Sara Palin and her family to go through. I am glad they are keeping the baby, and I am sure this will haunt Bristol Palin for a long time. I also hope others learn from these mistakes and try not to duplicate them.

I submit that Bristol Palin will be far better off with her mom and dad than MOST kids going through the same thing. Obama and Michelle sitting in the waiting room at the abortion clinic with their kid would be a great photo op.

Ok I have addressed the Bristol Palin issue, I have admitted that Sarah Palin lost control of her oldest kid and that is a shame, had the kid listened to her mom, she might not be in this position. So do you feel better? I mean really or will it take you finding porn pictures of a kid to make your little minds feel better about bashing a conservative mom?

I submit you liberal twerps have NOTHING to work with, you have no substance to list accomplishments, you have only “Look what she did” and “Look at them” while not having ANYTHING to put out that your guys have done… Too bad. Not going to work NOW didn’t work then.

So now lets discuss the issues with Ayers, Rev Wright, and the lack of experience Obama has? we have been trying to get a believable answer on those questions for over 6 months, and we hear crickets chirping? How about accomplishments in the senate? did your guy ever vote for anything NOT Democrat? did he ever do anything other than wait till his aides got back to him?

We have a manchurian candidate in Obama, he was groomed for this, it is obvious by his lack of votes on Key issues. It is obvious by his “Rockstar” image. He is going for the “Youth” as is written in a very good book.

Some turn violent in GOP convention protests

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Demonstrations near the Republican National Convention site turned violent Monday, as protesters harassed some delegates, smashed windows, slashed car tires and threw bottles. Police using pepper spray arrested more than 250 people.

The trouble happened not far from the Xcel Energy Center convention site where the GOP was starting its four-day meeting. And many of those involved in the more violent activities identified themselves to reporters as anarchists. These protesters, some clad in black, were operating on the streets in addition to a peaceful anti-war march, wreaking havoc by damaging property and setting at least one fire. Most of the trouble was in pocket of a neighborhood near downtown, several blocks from where the convention was taking place.

The main anti-war march was peaceful, police said, estimating about 10,000 people participated. Late Monday afternoon, long after the anti-war marchers had dispersed, police requested and got 150 Minnesota National Guard soldiers to help control splinter groups near downtown.

I had a feeling the Media coverage of the RNC would be far less “Fair” than the DNC.

The SMART and RIGHT call to delay the convention until Gustav was done and the damage dealt with, was met with snide remarks, insults and protest coverage.

During the DNC protesters were granted very little coverage, even though there were many, they weren’t as angry. Partly because Bush is a Republican and he is still in charge, I understand that. The Republican convention offers the Code Pinko’s a stage but it’s the MEDIA that gives them a voice.

I wouldn’t mind if CNN, MSNBC and the other LEFTY News Organizations gave the protest equal time but I think they are going to be far more “Protester friendly” than they were in Denver.

I hope the American voter takes that into account. I also hope the fence sitters see how the Democrat party treats Women, and treats Grandmothers.. They are very accepting of Abortion, but not accepting of a woman that took on the additional duties of a mentally challenged kid. IT would have been easy to flush it, it would be easy to have her daughter flush it, it is much harder to deal with it the right way..

Palin offers the Left a problem, a problem they can’t run away from, and a problem they are trying to deal with… Libards don’t deal with problems well, it is obvious by Clinton’s and Carter’s Problem solving skills, they were great until action is required, if talking is all that is needed than VOTE Democrat. IF you really want to fix problems Democrats arent the way to go.

By now everyone on the planet knows the McCain camp has chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate. I like this pick, I was worried he would pick Lieberman, I wasn’t real thrilled that he MIGHT have picked Romney, and if he would have picked Hillary Rodham Clinton well that would have been ungood.

He picked a Governor, he picked a person that has a small amount of experience in DC, while picking a person that has A LOT of experience actually doing things. I like this pick and I like it alot.

BUT there are some things that the libtards are going to latch onto about her, we are already hearing she is far to pretty to be effective.. :fingerwag:

Well only if she was in the White House while Bill Clinton was there, and I do believe Sarah Palin is smarter than Monica, so she wouldn’t fall for the “I dropped my cigar under the desk” routine.

We are also hearing about a scandal involving he husband Todd, evidently she got a state trooper fired and a commisionor or something…. Found it at “Wonkette” and I couldn’t bring myself to give them a link. Anyway Palin ordered an ethic investigation to see if it was true or what-not… I say BFD.

Joe Biden has done more to undermine the moral foundation of our union than MOST Demorats currently acting as seat fillers, and that will provide HOURS of enjoyable TV for Conservatives during the Debates. (Well if Obama and Biden actually agree to debate)

Sarah Palin’s credentials are SOUND, she has a lot of backers and those in pant suits that might be a little jealous of her looks, need to realize that Hillary wasn’t hard on the eyes when she was in her 40’s either… (Sorry to use the words “Hard” and “on” when discussing the Clintonista’s)

Sarah Palin’s little “scandal” which is not proven yet, will be all the Bidenites have, and will play out very quickly. We will hear the “Inexperence” from Biden, while touting “Change” from A guy that has been a fixture in DC for over 30 years.

I am supporting the McCain/Palin ticket full tilt. Obama is not an agent of change he is the same old thing with a twist of Communism and chaser of Marxist beliefs.
