Pelosi has pocketed nearly twice as much lobbyist cash as Boehner

If you read this weekend’s New York Times’ hit job on would-be Speaker John Boehner and his “lobbyist friends,” you might think, as the reporter clearly thinks, that John Boehner is cozier with lobbyists than most powerful politicians are.

But did you know:

* Nancy Pelosi has raised almost twice as much money from lobbyists this election as Boehner has?
* At least 18 House Democrats have raised more lobbyist cash this election than Boehner has.
* Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid have pocketed more lobbyist cash in the past 18 months than Boehner has raised in the past 6 elections, combined?

The “Democrat talking point” of the day is Boehner is too tight with lobbyists, Boehner is only looking out for special interests…Yada yada…Sigh, Yawn.

Here’s the fact: Pelosi and Reid have got more money from special interest groups than any other pair in congress EVER, the only difference is the media gives them a pass.

I want people to look at Pelosi’s congress, look at the ethics violations, the back room deals the bribery and outright LIES told to the American people over the last 4 years. 4 Years mind you, not 2.


Personally I’d rather have another speaker of the house besides John Boehner. I’d rather see Allen West take that gavel. But it is what it is. Boehner would be heads and tails better than the current hag in the house.

I’ve been perusing various websites the last couple of days and I even put on a hazmat suit and jumped into the swamp. The swamp being places like the KOSacks, and HUFFingPaint…

Once I deloused, and sanitized my eyes with bleach, I began laughing so hard the wife had to come in and smack me on the back to get me to start breathing again.

What caused the uncontrollable laughter? Good question…

I found that Obama’s failing according to “Obamabots” is directly the result of the right wingers refusal to go along with his plans. :rotfl:

I also read a couple of long winded articles railing against the “Unfair” criticism of Obama from Rightwingers….Seriously I can’t make this shit up.

So liberpukes, KOsacks and PaintHUFFERS…..When GWB was in office, you idiots bashed his every move, you clowns called him hitler, you idiots went on a BASH BUSH campaign that lasted the entire time he was in office EVEN THOUGH, the first 5 years produced RESULTS in the economy at least…You clowns got your idiots in power (For the last 4 years might I add) by bashing the CIC….Shoe, meet other foot…

The only difference between then and now is, WE HAVE A MUCH BROADER TARGET RANGE! Your idiot is making it so easy a cave man can do it!

IF Obama’s policies would have garnered RESULTS,  We adults would have heaped praise on the man. IF his apology tour would have created world peace (It made things worse) we would have took notice. IF his stimulus package would have done as promised, WE Would have little to complain about. IF his economic plan of taxing the rich to high heaven would have created jobs (MOST FOLKS KNEW IT WOULD PRODUCE THE OPPOSITE RESULT) we would have praised him for his vision. IF his Muslim outreach program would have reduced the threat of MUSLIM EXTREMISM, we would have reacted favorably.IF Obama’s/Pelosi’s and Reid’s arm twisting, bribery laden, fraud known as OBAMACARE, had a half of chance of NOT KILLING Jobs and creating a UTOPIAN healthcare program, we would have been on board….BUT;

In every instance and a few more, Obama has FAILED, he has taken this nation on a path that leads to destruction and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT! So you have little recourse but to blame the RIGHT. I understand…

I’ve heard many people talk about the Health Care vote and how there were so-called “moderate” democrats that voted against the bill. Yes there were. BUT I’d like to open a few eyes that may not be so inclined to see the true tale.

Nancy Pelosi is a corrupt, lying steaming pile of dog shit, BUT she’s damn good at what she does. She COVERED several of the Democrats in order to strengthen their chances in upcoming elections. Several of the “Moderate Democrats” that voted NO are in heated fights to retain their seats. The ol HAG in the House conducted a “Silent Roll Call” and determined how many votes she had for the travesty.. ooops I mean bill, and then determined which Democrats would be hurt the most by a yes vote. She did some quick math and allowed some of the following Democrats to disavow their roll in the destruction of our nation.

These are the Democrats that voted NO, along with my opinion of why they did:

Rep. Marion Berry (Ark.) LEGIT Retiring, he knows a bad bill when he sees it.
Rep. Dan Boren (Okla.) LEGIT Southern Democrat, a damn sight better than most Cali Republicans. He checked out.

So what you see here are some Democrats who deserve a Thank You, for standing up to the Pelosi machine, and some weasels that need to be removed ASAP.

These OPINIONS on these Democrats are MINE, I researched each candidate myself with no outside help to form MY opinions, I share these with you in order to bring fairness to the debate over who should get gratitude and who deserves a boot. The HUFFPO’s CNN’s and MSNBC’s of the nation will have the opinion that those Democrats that voted against the bill should all be fired. I agree, every Democrat should be fired, and about 3/4 of the Republicans. BUT for this brief moment in time I’d like to recognize the efforts and stands of the LEGITS. Thanks Dems, you have set yourself apart from the progressives and for that I THANK YOU!

Heaviest Element Yet Known to Science Discovered February 15, 2010 – 14:09 ET

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California has now identified with certainty the heaviest element known to science.

The new element, Pelosium (PL), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.  These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Pelosium is inert, and has no charge and no magnetism. Nevertheless, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Pelosium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Pelosium has a normal half-life of 2 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a biennial reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. Pelosium mass will increase over time, since each reorganization will promote many morons to become isodopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Pelosium becomes Senatorium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Pelosium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

Joe Biden goes to Iraq on the 4th of July, and basks in what GWB actually had the balls to do… WHETHER You agree with the war in Iraq or NOT- GWB never backed down he stood his ground (Right or Wrong) and he did his best to fix what was FUBAR from the get go… And only in 50 or so years will we find out if he was successful..Here’s a little excerpt of Biden relishing in the glory of another without mentioning the process owner.

IS it too much to ask that if you are going to take credit for something, you should have actually helped do it? Joe Biden wanted to make 3 countries out of Iraq, Obama and Pelosi wanted to surrender after day damn one. And they all have more American blood on their hands than any Iraqi insurgent due to their TRAITOROUS behavior when our guys were dying on the battlefield. They provided as much motivation for the enemy as Osama Bin Laden and they offered Obama’s tagline “Hope and Change” to the enemy. The very definition of TRAITOR.

Pelosi: Dems bear no responsibility for economic crisis

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, when asked Tuesday whether Democrats bear some of the responsibility regarding the current crisis on Wall Street, had a one-word answer: “No.”

Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped President Bush’s “mismanagement” of the economy and a lack of regulation that led to the current situation.

“I think the American people have had it with this situation where the middle-income people in our country are not protected from the ramifications of the risk-taking and the greed of these financial institutions,” Pelosi told MSNBC.

When asked whether the Democrats “deserve some responsibility” regarding the economic crisis, Pelosi responded: “No.”

“John McCain said that this is a result of overregulation by the Democrats in Congress,” she added. “Either he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or he’s misrepresenting the facts as he knows them. But it’s simply not true.”

Republicans responded quickly, pointing out that a Congress led by Democrats had not helped the economy.

“The Pelosi-Obama Congress has failed to pass an all-of-the-above energy plan, failed to stop earmarks, and failed to break the partisan gridlock that plagues Washington,” RNC spokesman Alex Conant said. “If Pelosi thinks the Democratic Congress is doing a good job handling the economy now, then just imagine how bad our economy would be if Democrats controlled the White House, too.”

As I have been saying for YEARS, the Democrat way is to deny, deflect and absolve themselves of ALL blame at all cost. EXAMPLE: Iraq, How many stood up and said “I authorized it, I am responsible for the outcome and I will accept the responsibility for my actions? ONE, Joe Lieberman. The rest have deflected blame and tried to lose the conflict at every turn. Nuff said about that.

Now we have a new problem, and the DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED CONGRESS, says “Not us” well lets look at who actually pulls the purse strings in Government, The House and Senate. Who creates, regulates, and oversees matters of finance? Congress. Who is the speaker? A democrat named Pelosi. BUT DON’T blame her, blame Bush, blame Bush, blame Bush… What will happen to the Democrats solution of “Blame Bush” when Bush is out of office? They will find another to blame after the first 3 years I assume, everything wrong for the first 3 years will be blamed on Bush. As usual. BUT I really hope folks will see what a Democrat controlled Congress gets us. An Economy that tanks because of Tax fears, Over regulation, and Corruption…

No Barrack Hussien Obama, and REMOVE ALL Liberals from Government. ALL of them Kick them the hell out, and why we are at it, Kick all the Party first, kiss Bush’s ass at all times Republicans out too.

A Conservative Majority is the only way out of this mess, and that is where the BLAME Game would stop.
