The most ethical and transparent congress ever is failing miserably. Nancy Pelosi (D-umbass hag) is continuing the arm twisting, underhanded tricks she’s so famous for.

Many people are still trying to figure out what exactly Congress voted to do last week when they passed their fake budget. Kagro and Dave Dayen go back and forth here, here and here.

But one thing is for certain: if procedural experts are still trying untangle what happened, there is no way 215 members of Congress knew what they were voting for at the time they cast their votes.

I got this from a Hill staffer that evening:

The real story on this thing is that Members were whipped on the rule before the leadership gave us specifics about what was in the budget resolution or what the amendments would look like. We were merely told that there was a budget and it would be tied to the rule and there would be some sort of seperate vote on the war funding. We got details about the budget resolution in the last 24 hours. It’s bull___ that they claim members knew what they were getting into when they didn’t know the intimate details of the budget resolution or the rule itself until right before the vote.

I’m putting it up because it reflects what I heard from many offices that evening: Nancy Pelosi threw the rule up for a vote and sneaked it by without telling even her own members what she was asking them to vote for. She demanded they vote with leadership on a procedural motion or risk retribution, twisted arms and threatened people to get the votes she needed, and didn’t tell them she had slipped in language to cover her own ass with the Catfood Commission.
Majority Whip James Clyburn has been meeting with the commission, and afterwards he was openly supporting benefit cuts to Social Security such as raising the retirement age and means testing — curiously, the exact same talking points John Boehner is parroting. It’s downright deceitful of Pelosi to condemn Boehner for saying the same things about cutting benefits that her own Democratic leadership is saying.

Fact is, they passed a faux budget with no constraints on it. And the speaker of the house did it through trickery. I seriously hope this makes it into the republicans campaign strategy. Even die hard liberpukes don’t like the way this particular congress is conducting business.

I’m holding out hope that eventually liberpukes from across the nation will join us in November and vote these morons out.

Well, lets look back at San Fran Nan’s wonderful accomplishments since she took the House Chair. ..

I’ll wait until one of my libturd readers point to something positive she has done. But I’ll help with somethings I know she has been responsible for:

1. She’s chaired the most spendaholic congress ever.

2. She’s chaired the congress that has added more to the national debt than any other in the history of our nation.

3. She spent her first two years bashing GWB and missed the collapse of our economy because she was so focused on damaging the Republican party.

4. She’s been in charge of the most corrupt congress EVER, yet no punishment has been dealt to the “D” only one slap for the “You Lie” guy from SC. oh yeah he was an R.

5. Her district ( 8th district ) is losing at least thousand teacher jobs, while she’s busy campaigning for national health care that will ADD to the deficit....

I’m sure there are more wonderful examples of her leadership skills but I think you get the point.

So basically, Nancy Pelosi has done nothing for HER district, and has played a large part in the destruction of our financial system. Anyone with half a brain knows that the real power when it comes to financial matters of the nation rests in the house and senate. They control the purse strings. YET, all the talk is about Obama and his agenda… WHY?

Obama is pushing his liberal agenda, yep that’s what ideologues do. BUT when it comes to finances, Nancy Pelosi is in charge of the credit cards and has been since 2006. I suggest WE that still believe in liberty, freedom and a Government BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE start giving Pelosi the credit she is due. Although I’m sure the libtard Pelosi bots that believe she’s doing the work of the people will blame it on Bush. The truth is Nancy Pelosi signed the checks, Nancy Pelosi OK’d all the spending since 2006, and Nancy Pelosi has been in charge under a very liberal President for over year now and the deficit again rose by triple. Can we afford another 2-4 years of a Pelosi led congress? I say NO.

Yes, Harry Reid is an accomplice to the criminal way our elected officials have acted. Time to remove BOTH of them and any RINO or Moderate DEM that went along with their liberal tax and spend agenda.

So Nany Pelosi, Take a bow! You have accomplished the total bankrupting of a nation, I know you had help but you are the speaker….Applause and roses should be showered upon you… 🙄

I’ve pretty much remained silent on the health-care reform issue. Well it’s time for a bit of Bushwack common sense.

House health care bill over $1 trillion for decade

WASHINGTON — Health care legislation taking shape in the House carries a price tag of at least $1 trillion over a decade, significantly higher than the target President Barack Obama has set, congressional officials said Friday as they struggled to finish work on the measure for a vote early next month.

Democrats have touted an unreleased Congressional Budget Office estimate of $871 billion in recent days, a total that numerous officials acknowledge understates the bill’s true cost by $150 billion or more. That figure excludes several items designed to improve benefits for Medicare and Medicaid recipients and providers, as well as public health programs and more, they added.

The officials who disclosed the details did so on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss them publicly.

Some moderate Democrats have expressed reluctance to support a bill as high as $1 trillion. Last month, Obama said in a nationally televised address before a joint session of Congress that he preferred a package with a price tag of around $900 billion.

Obama also said he would not sign a bill that raised deficits, and the CBO estimates the emerging House bill meets that objective. Officials said the measure would reduce deficits by at least $50 billion over 10 years and perhaps as much as $120 billion.

Democrats also said the bill would slow the rate of growth of the giant Medicare program from 6.6 percent annually to 5.3 percent.

“The bill will be paid for over 10 years. It will reduce costs but also will not add a dime to the deficit” in future years, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said at a news conference.

Right off the bat, after the Cap and Tax debacle the DEMOCRATS pushed through in the dark of night, I’m skeptical. Then we have the behind close door meetings, the arm twisting and the “ENEMIES LIST”…So now my ears are picked up and my bullshit sensors are going haywire.

I’m one of those folks that realize we desperately need some health care reform, some type of FIX for the skyrocketing prices of health care. BUT, what I’m hearing so far is nothing more than political power play to appease the base of one party. The DEMOCRATS, led by the liar of the house Nancy Pelosi. The very same Nancy Pelosi who has chastised the very people that have been catching Muslim radicals bent on killing us. The same Nancy Pelosi that has been caught in the lie of all lie’s “We didn’t know they were waterboarding anyone” The same Nancy Pelosi that went after everyone during the Bush Administration for anything from J-Walking to “misleading” but yet, leaves Charlie Rangle in his chair of the ways and means….Odd huh?

Then on top of that we get “Fox is the enemy” while our men and women in Afghanistan are dying in war that the “Messiah” said was “where we should be fighting” yet over 2 months and no decision on assisting our men in the fight with what was requested by the boots on the ground…Way to prioritize oh great leader.

Oh; But we are supposed to believe this Health Care bill they are crafting is “Above board”.. No freakin way. The political capital has been spent. Time for the Democrats to come back to the “JFK” type of Democratic beliefs rather than the “Ted Kennedy” type. I honestly believe right now that if JFK were alive he’d be a regular on Glenn Beck. I bet if JFK were here and seen the mess we are in economy wise, he’d be the first to yell… “STOP, WTF are you idiots doing?”

We are about to turn our dollar into the same value as Kenyan currency. The stimulus package that was the largest single increase in government spending EVER was an OBAMA plan. HE and his “Boys from the Chicago Hood” sold the country a bill of goods that wasn’t even close to above board. We have spent more money in 9 months than GWB did in 8 years. And they are about to double down!

IF you have an American bone in your body, remove these crooks and liars from office in the next election. We in the REAL WORLD are keeping track, and the totals will be up on every website from coast to coast in the next election. Idiots like Olympia “RINO” Snowjob will get the first pink slip.
