Another Marine Acquital.

Another Marine Acquital.

(ac·quit·tal: a judgment given by a judge or jury that somebody is not guilty of a charge or accusation.)

Silence from the usual suspects? the Murtha’s the Pelosi’s the Reid’s? Chirp Chirp.. not a peep.

From Fox News

A former Marine accused of killing unarmed Iraqi detainees was acquitted of voluntary manslaughter Thursday in a first-of-its-kind federal trial.

The jury took six hours to find Jose Luis Nazario Jr. not guilty of charges that he killed or caused others to kill four unarmed detainees on Nov. 9, 2004, in Fallujah, Iraq, during some of the fiercest fighting of the war.

The verdict left the 28-year-old defendant in tears. He cried so loud that the judge smacked his gavel to call for order. Nazario’s family and friends also sobbed in the courtroom. The rest is HERE

I have been very quiet on this issue, I have been following it closely and I knew for a fact that the evidence of this case was not going to pass reason. It was a waste of tax payer money from the very start and it was absolutely WRONG to put this family through the proceedings. There was NO evidence to support the charges.

NOW the real work begins, this Marine should get his job back, his family should be compensated for the hardship and the City of Riverside should welcome him back on the force ASAP!

The man did nothing wrong, and his family has gone through undue suffering because of over zealous DEMOCRAT pawns trying to make one of their own look vindicated.

You want to really know what kind of country we live in? do you really want to know how far our “Society” has fallen? The readers of LA Times.com will allow you an insight to the thought process of out country. We truly need an earthquake here, maybe it will shake the dumbshit out of the people around here.

A sample of the comments on this story:

1. We have to support our troops! The widespread cries of Americans hearing of the slaughter of Native American peoples. Some things never change. Like police officers who shoot teenage people of color with hundreds of rounds. And think of all those good Christians, who enjoyed period lynchings without fear of prosecution. Its the American people who should be on trial.

3. The LAPD and Sheriffs kill innocent people everyday. The Marines charged in this Murder case all want to become Law Enforcement Officers. This Country is a joke; it is O.K. to kill brown people but heaven forbid rich white people die. Kevin McDermott, attorney for the “Killer” said “…we don’t know what combat is like….” I invite him to drive down Gage Ave. or MLK at 3AM in a late model Cadillac with black skin and dreadlocks. He’ll see combat when the Sheriffs shoot and kill him and then get off saying he died from too much lead in his blood.

NOW THIS WAS MY FAVORITE COMMENT!

41. Wonder if it’s just coincidence or irony that Riverside juries have the highest rate of death penalty verdicts of any county in the state.

To that comment:
It is not an accident, it is a known fact that Riverside California is a CONSERVATIVE part of the state. The area is in the shadow of several military installations and a lot of RETIRED Military live in this part of the state.
We are represented by a couple of fine officials and WE tend to be a little less forgiving of capitol crimes than MOST other parts of California. We believe if you kill someone you should be able to prove self defense or YOU should meet the same fate.

Sarah Palin is more ready than Obama.

Sarah Palin is more ready than Obama.

Sarah Palin isnt ready.

The libtards are showing their ignorance, the liberal morons at Move-on, the asshats of Soros, and all the moonbats of the Obamamessiah are equating the teacher with student. The teacher is the PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, the Student is the VP. Well unless you are the Democrats, then it’s totally backwards… sheesh It’s hard to keep up with the rule changes in this election.

The VP is a future President that should take the time as VP to be mentored and groomed for the job by the president elect. The President should be the most seasoned of the two candidates because on DAY 1, he or she will have to make decisions that affect THE WORLD.

Obama is at the top of the ticket, his VP is the same “old guard” Obama rails against in the media. So I guess if Hussein Obama is elected he will leave all the decisions to Biden? not likely, Joe Biden is as much a token white guy pick as Palin is the token woman pick. So if you can’t take that Demorats then STFU.

Sarah Palin has WAY more experience than Hussein Obama has in Government. Does the HUSSEIN OBAMA camp really want to play the “Not ready” card? They were playing the “RACE” card so well earlier, I think that’s the one they should stick with..

Sarah Palin is MORE capable of dealing with problems than ANY of the Demonrats, Palin did something that YOU NEVER hear the Demorats do without being pressured to do it. SHE took on the corrupt members of her own party, she got an OLD guard RINO indicted and removed…

Palin is a fighter and I can’t wait to see Biden tap dance on stage in the VP debates. Palin is tough, Palin has more balls (figuratively speaking) than any man on the Demorat ticket. I for one will sleep much better at night knowing that if McCain was not able to function as President, Palin would be in charge of the most powerful nation the world has ever seen. If Obama is elected I will be less optmistic of our survival as a nation than at any point in my life. EVEN THROUGH CARTER.

Just a few problems on the horizon:

The Economy,

Obama pipe dream or McCain’s long term fix (I do agree more with his “Jobs for America” (jobsforamerica) aproach more than Obama’s divide everything up evenly and support everyone while singing “its a small world” other wise known as “obamablueprintforchange“)

Iraq:

McCain and Palin want Iraq to be self sufficient, Palin wants us to leave Iraq in a way that does not create more problems later, that is called forward thinking, that is called an eye on the future. They both want ground conditions and Generals to dictate when we leave. They both want to make every effort to fix the mess WE created.

Obama and Biden want to cut and run NOW, well they did until the SURGE and now they want to withdraw in 16 months. They both want to appease their moron base and run away from our responsibilities in Iraq, lets not forget BIDEN helped BUSH in his Iraq quest,  BIDEN, Clinton, Pelosi, BOXER and a host of other DEMOCRATS gave the President full authority to go into Iraq… Running away from your responsibilities is a typical democrat trait but it makes for poor leadership qualities.

The Russian Resurgence, Georgia:
Obama is ready to talk, so Obama will break bread with Medvedev and Imadinnerjacket and Kim Ill all cozy like..

McCain will talk too, but when he talks they will know they are talking to a man that will not hesitate to go all out for what he thinks is right. While talking to Obama they will be confident they can convince OBAMA what is right.

Abortion, Gun Rights, Crime and Punishment, are all issues that the Obama/Biden ticket fails to impress, and quite frankly McCain left doubts too. But when he picked Sarah Palin it showed a lot about who McCain is, while I still don’t like the “Amnesty” or the “Feingold” or the “Gun Grabbing” I will hope as the Demorat’s HOPE, the VP will have some influence with President.

I will HOPE, I will Pray, and I will do everything in my meager power to make sure that McCain/Palin is the clear winner in November.

Personally I think we have the ticket backwards, Palin should be running for President, then we could have the “Who’s ready” discussion, but as it sits now, McCain is ready Obama isn’t, Biden is ready Obama isn’t, BUT Biden is not running for the President.

I do know that there is some shadyness with Biden, and if Obama gets elected, I would suggest Obama get extra security cause Biden REALLY wants to be President.

Thoughts on the DNC

Thoughts on the DNC

Since the Olympics are over, and there is very little else on I have listened to the DNC speeches, hoopla, and what-nots… Very unimpressed.

I watched the “Faith” part at the beginning and felt it was more pandering. It looks to me like the Democrats are finding WHOEVER they can that supports their anti-American stance, and places them in the limelight. Case and Point:
The honor guard: The VFW all of the guys well over 65 and CNN cameras gave them as much time as some of the speakers.
The Indian “Council member” singing the national anthem.
The Hillary supporters dancing with Obama Supporters.
The Hispanic Caucus talking about “Humanity”
They are showing as many OLDER people as they can, to try to show that OLDER voters are ready to follow “youth”

These are just opinions formed while having my usual election year smoke enema.

I also got to thinking, What change? Obama/Biden is change? What change exactly?

In 2006 the Senate and the House were changed, they went to Democrats. Change? Yep we got change, we got an economy dropping like Monica in the oval office, we got…..I really cant think of a damn thing that has been done in 2 years of Democrat leadership. They ran on Change, we got changed… happy now? Well if you can reason that it’s all GWB’s fault the economy took a turn then you are a democrat. IF you believe it is a combination of the two, an idiot in the White House, and a Disgustingly Horrible Congress. Then You are a disgruntled voter clinging to religion and guns.

I am seeing a bunch of so-called working class people dancing around the democrat convention floor, talking about “Obama is going to change America”?
What I am seeing is ALL of these folks appear to have jobs or are in college. I heard one lady interviewed saying she was a nurse, and another was working in manufacturing and supporting Obama…but the economy is down and it’s the Republicans fault?

The economy is slow, the dollar value is down, we still have troops in Iraq, we still are fighting in Afghanistan, we have Georgia being swallowed by Russia, Iran is on the horizon and N.Korea and China are still viable threats to our security. These are ISSUES, these are pressing problems that the next president will have to address.
Iraq is MUCH better now than it was in 2006, if you don’t believe me, look at the media coverage of Iraq for the past 6 to 9 months…uh yeah basically NONE, well unless some bombs go off and innocent folks get killed. It brings out all the Anti-American sentiment when it happens, which amazes me… When innocent civilians die because a group of religious thugs want to make a point, it is America’s or GWB’s fault for not protecting them… Only in America.

My point is Iraq is better now than it was in 2006, is that because of the demorat Congress? How much time was spent trying to impeach, cut funds, or surrender by congress over Iraq?

Obama himself has softened his stance on surrender in Iraq too, those that think Obama will remove our troops from Iraq as soon as he steps in office are living a pipe dream, and if you think Obama will pull the troops from Iraq, and all the money to be spent there will automatically end up in your favorite causes wallet, you are smoking out of that pipe.

Here is another thing folks should think about Iraq, They are already deciding when we will leave and how we will do it. IT will be already in the works prior to the next president. AND the only one of the two candidates that actually will benefit from a victorious withdrawal would be McCain, the candidate that benefits from a defeat or just a withdraw and chaos ensuing in Iraq, is Obama.

So here is what we are hearing and the lemmings are sopping it up with a bisquit:
The democrats are going to fix the economy (They are leaving out any mention of Iraq other than the usual “We shouldn’t be there” in 2004 it was “Surrender” they can’t say that now. Even idiots that wanted us to withdraw in 04 want to see it through now.)

So the economy comes out as the #1 issue, but how are they going to fix it? Demorats have been in charge of the house, and senate which has FAR more power in NATIONAL matters than it has in foreign affairs, and our economy tanked since they have been in charge… So do you think the Democrats have engineered a struggling economy to benefit themselves in this election? Do you think Pelosi and crew have left some things off the table that could have stopped the dollars decline? Some say yes.

Your thoughts?

BTW, I can’t wait for the Republicans Bullshit show either.

Obama Meets With Iraqi President; Talks Timeline for U.S. Troop Withdrawal

Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama and the Iraqi government found agreement in Baghdad on Monday for a 2010 withdrawal of U.S. combat forces, a timeline that has faced withering criticism from Republican Sen. John McCain.

As Obama laid eyes on the Iraq war for the first time in more than two years, he emerged from a meeting with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, calling it “very constructive.”

The trip follows Republican attempts to diminish Obama’s foreign policy experience and a challenge from McCain, who complained that Obama was wrong to plan for troop withdrawal without having visited since January 2006. McCain has visited Iraq eight times since the war began. The Arizona senator has said Obama’s foreign policy plans are naive and that he is untested.

After Obama sat down with al-Maliki in Baghdad’s heavily protect Green Zone, government spokesman Ali al-Dabagh, who is very close to the Iraqi leader and sat in on the meeting, said Baghdad was not interested in troop withdrawal plans that arise out of the American presidential campaign but “in a real timetable the Iraqis have set.”

When asked for a date, al-Dabagh said, “up to 2010.”

That would match Obama’s pledge to remove U.S. combat troops within 16 months of taking office and reinforces al-Maliki’s reported support for that timetable in an interview published last week in Der Spiegel, a German magazine.

Here is the Demorat plan at the forefront. In war time you tell everything you know, no matter who it hurts. Al-Maliki said a 2010 time-line is acceptable… Do you honestly believe that same “Time-line” has not been discussed with the current CIC? The difference?

A person in charge of prosecuting a war does not give the enemy a time when all will be over in a public statement. The issue may be discussed and even agreed to behind closed doors and the only folks knowing the REAL time-line are those in charge of making decisions. OBAMA is not making ANY decisions yet, and for the Iraqi PM to give Obama this type of ammunition for his idiot followers is irresponsible.

The Iraqi PM has pretty much decided that Barrak Hussein Obama is going to be running things here. He might be, and when (or IF) we hold to a timetable, and Al-Qaeda comes back and Iran comes in and a lot of his countrymen die… WE can look back on this time and say “IRAQ is responsible for IRAQ” The responsibility is squarely on Al Maliki now.
No time table EVER IMO, but since the leadership of Iraq feels like negotiating a retreat already…
Fuck it leave NOW, The Iraqi PM has put his cards on the table, no need for us to be there now, he is negotiating with a person (Liberal anti-Iraq war after things started to go bad) who has caused more death than any Marines rifle or bombing run, OBAMA and his ilk have been supplying the enemy’s of Iraq and America with the very thing they need… HOPE, and KNOWLEDGE. The HOPE we would surrender followed by the KNOWLEDGE that if they held out long enough WE WOULD!

Regardless of how you see IRAQ, why, what, where, or who.. THE ISSUE IS NOW! The issue is do we provide ammunition to those we have stopped, or at least have on the run, and let them know “HEY guys look, all we have to do is hang out in Afghanistan or Pakistan till 2010, then we come back and finish this thing.”

Good move there Barak Hussien Obama.

Iraqi PM disputes report on withdrawal plan

(CNN) — A German magazine quoted Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki as saying that he backed a proposal by presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq within 16 months.
Nuri al-Maliki told Der Spiegel that he favors a “limited” tenure for coalition troops in Iraq.

Nuri al-Maliki told Der Spiegel that he favors a “limited” tenure for coalition troops in Iraq.

“U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months,” he said in an interview with Der Spiegel that was released Saturday.

“That, we think, would be the right time frame for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes,” he said.

But a spokesman for al-Maliki said his remarks “were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately.”

Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the possibility of troop withdrawal was based on the continuance of security improvements, echoing statements that the White House made Friday after a meeting between al-Maliki and U.S. President Bush.

In the magazine interview, Al-Maliki said his remarks did not indicate that he was endorsing Obama over presumptive Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain.

“Who they choose as their president is the Americans’ business. But it’s the business of Iraqis to say what they want. And that’s where the people and the government are in general agreement: The tenure of the coalition troops in Iraq should be limited,” he said.

What the PM said is not nearly as important as what the Media heard.

Look truthfully I couldn’t give a rats ass about Iraq, BUT: if we left Iraq in the state it’s in, WE are responsible for the lives that might be lost. And if pictures and videos of ethnic cleansing don’t bother you, you might be inclined to say screw the whole thing too. It would bother me to see women and children murdered in the name of a religious sect, but I could live with it I guess, at least they aren’t Americans right?

Time table or no time table we are not going to be in Iraq for 100 years, at least in any capacity above a quick reaction force in case of emergency. Even BHO would have to agree that’s the humane thing to do. The real meat of the issue is Media Bias take a look at CNN’s page today

Media Bias

Petraeus: Al Qaeda Could Be Shifting Focus From Iraq to Afghanistan, Pakistan

BAGHDAD —  After intense U.S. assaults, Al Qaeda may be considering shifting focus to its original home base in Afghanistan, where American casualties are running higher than in Iraq, the top U.S. commander in Iraq said Saturday.

“We do think that there is some assessment ongoing as to the continued viability of Al Qaeda’s fight in Iraq,” Gen. David Petraeus told The Associated Press in an interview at his office at the U.S. Embassy.

Whatever the result, Petraeus said no one should expect Al Qaeda to give up entirely in Iraq.

“They’re not going to abandon Iraq. They’re not going to write it off. None of that,” he said. “But what they certainly may do is start to provide some of those resources that would have come to Iraq to Pakistan, possibly Afghanistan.”

The good General knows what’s happening, the idiot politicians are just getting in the way, all this posturing and bullshit isn’t getting a damn thing done. Obama talks about leaving because the folks on the ground have done exactly what OBAMA’S party was against.

The Defeatist Demorat’s (Here to fore known as Double D’s) hoped for an utter failure in Iraq, a huge body count and a disater. They almost got it too, except for Petraeus and the will of those brave men on the ground to fix what was broke and take it to them.

NOW the Double D’s are trying to lash on to the “Well, the fight is in Afghanistan which is where it should be” the part they are missing is “An entire “ISLAMIC country” in the middle of the Islamic center is kicking Al-Qaeda’s ass too….For those of you that think Al-Qaeda would have stayed in Afghanistan and let us kick their ass you are dead wrong. Now they are running back to Afghanistan because safe haven in Iraq is gone. We opened up a “fairly safe haven” for them through some idiots in Washington and Iraq but the safe house is closing rapidly.

Media bias, Partisan politics, Lying for votes, politics ahead of country, idiots in charge, are all reasons we are still in Iraq.

OUR soldiers are still fighting in Iraq for two reasons.

1. GWB was/is as fucked up as a football bat.

2. Our “DEMORAT” party failed to take responsibility for their actions, and to this day still haven’t, AND for those of you that think that’s BS, Who voted to allow GWB the power to do what he did? ALL of them. Spare 1 and you have the breakdown of the vote. Why did they do it? Career. Period. No heart no guts not among any of them and WE as Americans are getting ready to have Obama as President. A Demorat of the highest order. We are screwed.
