Israelis Opposed to Striking Iran

Israelis Opposed to Striking Iran

Here’s a bit of “You don’t say” news.

Polls show most Israelis oppose strike against Iran

JERUSALEM – Israel’s tough talk of military action against Iran’s nuclear program has unleashed a strong backlash at home, with a growing number of voices urging the government not to attack without the support of the United States.
Israeli leaders, who have long issued veiled threats against Iran, now appear to be preparing the country for war. New gas mask distribution centers have opened, a nationwide missile alert system has been tested and an official this week warned of hundreds of casualties if Israel unilaterally strikes Iran.

Ask Americans if they are opposed to striking China/Russia/Iran/Venezuela/Syria etc.. Same result. I would bet my ridiculously substandard pay check that “Most Americans oppose” it. But there is a difference. None of those country’s can wipe us out with one good nuke. None of those country’s have been waging shadow war with us since we were founded.

At some point Israel will have to act against Iran. There’s only one possible way that it doesn’t happen. That is if Iran all of the sudden became a moderate western style democracy. So with that possibility about as likely as Obama becoming a Tea Party leader, a strike on Iran is going to happen. The only question is when.

I’d bet that if Obama is re-elected Israel will strike within days of the election results. If Romney/Ryan win, Israel will hold off a little bit. Any takers?

World wants Obama as president: poll

US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.

All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.

In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.

More than 22,000 people were questioned by pollster GlobeScan in countries ranging from Australia to India and across Africa, Europe and South America.

The margin in favour of Senator Obama ranged from 9 per cent in India to 82 per cent in Kenya, while an average of 49 per cent across the 22 countries preferred Senator Obama compared with 12 per cent preferring Senator McCain. Some four in 10 did not take a view.

“Large numbers of people around the world clearly like what Barack Obama represents,” GlobeScan chairman Doug Miller said.

“Given how negative America’s international image is at present, it is quite striking that only one in five think a McCain presidency would improve on the Bush administration’s relations with the world.”

In the United States, three polls taken since the Republican party convention ended on Thursday (local time) show Senator McCain with a lead of 1 to 4 percentage points – within the margin of error – and two others show the two neck-and-neck.

The countries most optimistic that an Obama presidency would improve relations were America’s NATO allies, including Australia (62 per cent).

A similar BBC/Globescan poll conducted ahead of the 2004 U.S presidential election found that, of 35 countries polled, 30 would have preferred to see Democratic nominee John Kerry, rather than the incumbent George Bush, who was elected.

A total of 23,531 people in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, Panama, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, the UAE, Britain and the United States were interviewed face-to-face or by telephone in July and August 2008 for the poll.

Let me just say, F*** The World, THEY do not have to put up with the Socialist/Communist type of Government that Obama will introduce. The world is under the opinion that Obama would GIVE more to their causes, and McCain would not. The world is looking at McCain as a war manger because he saw a chance for victory in Iraq, rather than the Obama mantra of surrender. The world want Obama because of the Media ferver over Obama and they have not seen the REAL Obama that WE see.

IF the world wants Obama, take him back, take him to run YOUR nation, take him back to Kenya.

The world looks to us for leadership, the world looks to US for stability and protection, under Obama the rogue nations of the world would be much more embolden than they will be under McCain.

And another thing: There are SIX BILLION People in the world, the poll conducted was with 23,531 people, that’s like asking one person in the state of Texas what they want, and concluding that is the majority opinion of all Texans.

This is another great media play to get the feeling that the WORLD is indeed hoping to see Obama in the White House. Realize that a large part of our planet wants America to fail, there are 1 Billion Chinese that would be happy to see it, there are large numbers of North Koreans and Russians that want to see it, and there are a lot of Muslims that want to see us fail as a society. So why would it shock anyone to see that headline “The world wants Obama” ? The world wants failure in the states and Obama would give it to them.

Sarah Palin is more ready than Obama.

Sarah Palin is more ready than Obama.

Sarah Palin isnt ready.

The libtards are showing their ignorance, the liberal morons at Move-on, the asshats of Soros, and all the moonbats of the Obamamessiah are equating the teacher with student. The teacher is the PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, the Student is the VP. Well unless you are the Democrats, then it’s totally backwards… sheesh It’s hard to keep up with the rule changes in this election.

The VP is a future President that should take the time as VP to be mentored and groomed for the job by the president elect. The President should be the most seasoned of the two candidates because on DAY 1, he or she will have to make decisions that affect THE WORLD.

Obama is at the top of the ticket, his VP is the same “old guard” Obama rails against in the media. So I guess if Hussein Obama is elected he will leave all the decisions to Biden? not likely, Joe Biden is as much a token white guy pick as Palin is the token woman pick. So if you can’t take that Demorats then STFU.

Sarah Palin has WAY more experience than Hussein Obama has in Government. Does the HUSSEIN OBAMA camp really want to play the “Not ready” card? They were playing the “RACE” card so well earlier, I think that’s the one they should stick with..

Sarah Palin is MORE capable of dealing with problems than ANY of the Demonrats, Palin did something that YOU NEVER hear the Demorats do without being pressured to do it. SHE took on the corrupt members of her own party, she got an OLD guard RINO indicted and removed…

Palin is a fighter and I can’t wait to see Biden tap dance on stage in the VP debates. Palin is tough, Palin has more balls (figuratively speaking) than any man on the Demorat ticket. I for one will sleep much better at night knowing that if McCain was not able to function as President, Palin would be in charge of the most powerful nation the world has ever seen. If Obama is elected I will be less optmistic of our survival as a nation than at any point in my life. EVEN THROUGH CARTER.

Just a few problems on the horizon:

The Economy,

Obama pipe dream or McCain’s long term fix (I do agree more with his “Jobs for America” (jobsforamerica) aproach more than Obama’s divide everything up evenly and support everyone while singing “its a small world” other wise known as “obamablueprintforchange“)

Iraq:

McCain and Palin want Iraq to be self sufficient, Palin wants us to leave Iraq in a way that does not create more problems later, that is called forward thinking, that is called an eye on the future. They both want ground conditions and Generals to dictate when we leave. They both want to make every effort to fix the mess WE created.

Obama and Biden want to cut and run NOW, well they did until the SURGE and now they want to withdraw in 16 months. They both want to appease their moron base and run away from our responsibilities in Iraq, lets not forget BIDEN helped BUSH in his Iraq quest,  BIDEN, Clinton, Pelosi, BOXER and a host of other DEMOCRATS gave the President full authority to go into Iraq… Running away from your responsibilities is a typical democrat trait but it makes for poor leadership qualities.

The Russian Resurgence, Georgia:
Obama is ready to talk, so Obama will break bread with Medvedev and Imadinnerjacket and Kim Ill all cozy like..

McCain will talk too, but when he talks they will know they are talking to a man that will not hesitate to go all out for what he thinks is right. While talking to Obama they will be confident they can convince OBAMA what is right.

Abortion, Gun Rights, Crime and Punishment, are all issues that the Obama/Biden ticket fails to impress, and quite frankly McCain left doubts too. But when he picked Sarah Palin it showed a lot about who McCain is, while I still don’t like the “Amnesty” or the “Feingold” or the “Gun Grabbing” I will hope as the Demorat’s HOPE, the VP will have some influence with President.

I will HOPE, I will Pray, and I will do everything in my meager power to make sure that McCain/Palin is the clear winner in November.

Personally I think we have the ticket backwards, Palin should be running for President, then we could have the “Who’s ready” discussion, but as it sits now, McCain is ready Obama isn’t, Biden is ready Obama isn’t, BUT Biden is not running for the President.

I do know that there is some shadyness with Biden, and if Obama gets elected, I would suggest Obama get extra security cause Biden REALLY wants to be President.

Sarah Palin…..Awesome

Sarah Palin…..Awesome

By now everyone on the planet knows the McCain camp has chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate. I like this pick, I was worried he would pick Lieberman, I wasn’t real thrilled that he MIGHT have picked Romney, and if he would have picked Hillary Rodham Clinton well that would have been ungood.

He picked a Governor, he picked a person that has a small amount of experience in DC, while picking a person that has A LOT of experience actually doing things. I like this pick and I like it alot.

BUT there are some things that the libtards are going to latch onto about her, we are already hearing she is far to pretty to be effective.. :fingerwag:

Well only if she was in the White House while Bill Clinton was there, and I do believe Sarah Palin is smarter than Monica, so she wouldn’t fall for the “I dropped my cigar under the desk” routine.

We are also hearing about a scandal involving he husband Todd, evidently she got a state trooper fired and a commisionor or something…. Found it at “Wonkette” and I couldn’t bring myself to give them a link. Anyway Palin ordered an ethic investigation to see if it was true or what-not… I say BFD.

Joe Biden has done more to undermine the moral foundation of our union than MOST Demorats currently acting as seat fillers, and that will provide HOURS of enjoyable TV for Conservatives during the Debates. (Well if Obama and Biden actually agree to debate)

Sarah Palin’s credentials are SOUND, she has a lot of backers and those in pant suits that might be a little jealous of her looks, need to realize that Hillary wasn’t hard on the eyes when she was in her 40’s either… (Sorry to use the words “Hard” and “on” when discussing the Clintonista’s)

Sarah Palin’s little “scandal” which is not proven yet, will be all the Bidenites have, and will play out very quickly. We will hear the “Inexperence” from Biden, while touting “Change” from A guy that has been a fixture in DC for over 30 years.

I am supporting the McCain/Palin ticket full tilt. Obama is not an agent of change he is the same old thing with a twist of Communism and chaser of Marxist beliefs.

No thanks.

The Real Hussien Obama?

The Real Hussien Obama?

There are still several questions surrounding Barrak Hussein Obama, and the more I think about the “Family History” of this seeker of the throne, the more I am concerned that the lemmings in Denver are missing the facts.

The fact is, all we have heard is rhetoric, we hear how upset he is at the Bush administration, we hear how he wants universal health care, he wants better everything and he has come up with plans on top of plans that don’t hold water. HE talks about change as if all change is a good thing. IT IS NOT. Some change is good, some is needed, some change is called changing for the sake of change and that is the most dangerous type of change.

I am of the opinion that our nation needs change too. I am not very thrilled about changing the White House Occupant to a former “Muslim” during a war with over zealous Muslims. IMO; WW3 starts as soon as Israel no longer believes the US will assist in her survival, and when Obama takes the Oath that will signify that very thing.

There is nothing in his past that makes me think Barrak Hussein Obama might be the best man for the job. I do know this: McCain will not “CHANGE” America so we are a third world nation. McCain loves his country, I do not doubt it. Obama is not proud of his country, His wife is not proud of his country, And his pastor is ANTI-America. Mr McCain gave 5 years in a prison to his country. Obama gave his country some really good speeches. Mr McCain has 72 years of living life and making decisions. Obama? he has a couple of years as a senator, as which he either abstained or DID NOT APPEAR for votes that might be viewed one way or the other… Indecisive. Not a good quality.

Do I believe that Obama will destroy our nation? Not alone he wont but it appears the LEMMINGS that are buying this crap might be of the useful idiot variety.

The McCain Camp better come to play, if McCain makes the wrong choice for VP, winning the White House will require divine intervention. This post is anti-Obama, I do plan on being fair and balanced though, during the RNC stay tuned.

Game time: Barrak Hussein Obama and Joe Biden.

Game time: Barrak Hussein Obama and Joe Biden.

Obama picks Biden for veep

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama selected Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware late Friday night to be his vice presidential running mate, according to a Democratic official, balancing his ticket with a seasoned congressional veteran well-versed in foreign policy and defense issues.

Biden, 65, has twice sought the White House, and is a Catholic with blue-collar roots, a generally liberal voting record and a reputation as a long-winded orator.

Across more than 30 years in the Senate, he has served at various times not only as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee but also as head of the Judiciary Committee, with its jurisdiction over anti-crime legislation, Supreme Court nominees and Constitutional issues.

So Mr. Hussein Obama picks a 65 yr old CAREER Politician that has been involved in Government for most of his life as his running mate. But wait.. hasn’t Obama been wanting “Change” doesn’t he say McCain is has been in Government too long and is the problem? I am soooo confused now…

IMO Biden is a better pick than some he could have made, but I think Biden’s liberal voting record and his views on several KEY issues will (or at least should) sink the Obama run. The problem will be those “White, religious, gun toting and bitter” voters that will see this as a “Olive branch” I see it as pandering and I see it as an effort to placate the voters that can’t vote for an inexperienced liberal.

I also think Biden’s “Foreign Policy Experience” will undoubtedly be used by the media as a plus. I don’t know enough about his “experience” but I will be looking. There will be a much closer look at Biden now by bloggers, and media. we will see if he can pass that test.

NOW on the other hand we have John McCain that is supposedly choosing Mitt Romney for Veep:

Romney veep speculation swirls

Mark Halperin set off tremors in the political world last night by reporting via two Republicans that John McCain had settled on Mitt Romney to be his running mate.

Top sources in McCainworld, though, say this morning that no final decision has been made.

There are mixed signals at this point as to whether Romney has emerged as the favorite.

That seems to be the “body language” from the small group of aides who McCain is consulting on the decision, a GOP source says.

And that interpretation was reinforced when word spread among Romney loyalists last night that the vice presidential rollout tour included Michigan.

So if McCain chooses Romney, he is choosing a business leader, a “Republican” and a man with experience running a state. not just sitting in a chair and voting yea or nay on legislation, not just bitching and whining about the current administration but actually running a STATE.

I think this is a winning ticket. I am not jumping for joy, but I can vote for McCain/Romney and have a glimmer of hope for the future.
