Is Herman Cain for real?

This election is going to be brutal. The premise of this election can be summed up in one word “VICTIM.”

Who is the biggest victim? Is it the latino’s, gays, blacks, asians, liberals/progressives, grandpa’s and grandma’s…ets…

The election is about victimhood. IF you can claim you are being unfairly treated by government or religious entities you can get the media to hype it up. Well, unless you’re muslim then it’s a given… Christian’s will continue to be the target of any religious fight and it’s a fight we’re not good at because at our core we believe in the power of the people with the help of GOD. Sitting in a corner claiming to be a victim and shouting “Poor me” in protest is not a christian trait nor is suicide/homicide for political/religious reasons… But I digress…

Herman Cain is the real deal as far as different from the established GOP. I like Rick Perry even though he’s got a bit of the establishment ingrained in him. Cain has something going for him that NONE of the others do. He’s a BUSINESS MAN… Oh and he’s a black man… Oh crap now I’m racist… wait, he’s the GOP candidate so am I racist? damn it…. confused I am.

Cain would eliminate any SERIOUS talk of racism and bring all issues and contrasts to the forefront. IF Cain faces Obama the election becomes “What has Obama done for you” vs “What will Cain do for you” The election would have to focus on what kind of job has Obama done, and what kind of record does Cain have creating jobs. Cain can pull 15-20% of the black vote with the right messaging. And he’d get the vote from independents as well as a large portion of latino’s who voted for Obama.

CAIN can beat Obama. As of right now as I see what’s coming down the road NOBODY else can keep the discussion on the issues. All the others are “Rich, White, racists looking to hang folks from trees or something”..

I’m keeping my sidebar support for Perry as is for now but I’m also saying I will fully support Herman Cain for POTUS in 2012.

    1. Christy is as anti-2nd Amendment as any liberal, and will not get my vote. Come on people, the anybody is better than obama is bull crap, if we were to elect a hillary or mccain we would be in the same place. No, we need a strong conservative, someone who is proud of these United States. Paul, Perry, Romney are just not the person we need.

  1. I question Cain stance on the 2nd Amendment as well as his opinions on no-knock-raids. The 2nd is not a states right to control as it pleases and no-knock-raids should be illegal in all 50 of these United States. Other than those two MAJOR issues, he will get my vote.

      1. No, I remember reading his comments on it when a swat team killed a Marine in New Mexico, he was asked about it and replied that it was just another tool of the LEO’s to keep us safe or some such verbiage.

  2. HERE’S what I liked about Herman Cain:

    – He has a SPECIFIC economic plan — the 999 Plan.
    – He took Mr OBAMA to task during the debate, not the others.
    – He KNOWS how to run a business and MEET A BUDGET.
    – He’s NOT a politician and ingrained into the DC Beltway.

I could easily vote FOR Mr Cain and be proud of doing so.

And I would be voting for his philosophy, not his melanin count.

    1. Yes, out of all the people running he is the foremost leader in my opinion and will get my vote if he is the candidate.

      1. Cain has some issues but if he surrounds himself with good folks our 2nd will be fine. He’s not ANTI 2nd. he’s just a bit torn between what he sees as needed LEO rules and citizen rights.
