Here is some video shot just recently at a GOP fundraiser/Campaign party/Convention in San Diego. You really need to watch this video and realize its a microcosm of the nation as a whole.


How many times do you hear: “The bottom line is we don’t want Jerry Brown as Governor?” That’s the rub folks. The fight was in the primary, and our guy/gal lost. So at that point what do you do? Do you blindly follow whoever won it, no matter how you feel about the candidate? OR do you keep pushing and try to get that candidate to commit and get on board with the prevailing view?


I give HUGE kudos to that lady questioning the talking head. She held her feet to the fire and all that lady had was “Meg is not Jerry Brown.” To coin a phrase of one of my buddies “Nowhere is it written that we must accept the staus-quo” and here in California we have been accepting it far too long.

All that being said, the conundrum is; what now? We have 2 options:
1. Vote for Meg, or
2. Give Jerry Brown the seat.

Any Action other than voting for Meg Whitman gives the state to Jerry Brown again. There is not enough time to get a third party candidate on the ballot, and it wouldn’t be successful, and this is the biggest reason, THERE ISN’T ONE WORTH A CRAP.

We are stuck now and Meg KNOWS it, so she is trying to gain the hispanic vote. Not a bad strategy in a “Politician’s mind” and it very well may work. This is the same issue we will face in 2012 (Same one we faced in 2008) The fight ladies and gentlemen is in the primaries. Nevada picked a conservative, and a few other states did too. It will be interesting to see how those races turn out. California DIDN’T. We picked a RINO. We picked a DAMN GOOD BUSINESSWOMAN. That’s it.

I don’t really know what I’ll do come election day. I’m seriously torn. I’m torn between giving up and hoping that this state goes full on liberpuke and falls into even more depravity, and giving a new person a chance to fix it and save one of the most beautiful states in the nation. I know for a fact that Meg Whitman will not be the one that will “UNFUCK” this state. But she may be the one to point it on the right path. (Excuse the language but yall know I’m prone to the occasional F-word when I’m pissed off)

I will decide as the election gets closer. I do know that I’m voting for Fiorina in the senate race. That is a NATIONAL position and I love my country. Fiorina would be WAY BETTER for our country than Boxer and that’s why I’m voting for her.

    I can’t stand Meg Whitman. She’s just another RINO that will capitulate to the legislature of this state.

    I am thinking of just writing in a name for governor. Maybe my own.

    Boxer needs to be fired yesterday.

    1idvet, I’m not a fan of Meg either, and yep RINO. But the question exists: Is it worth giving Jerry Brown the head seat? He’s been there once and HE’S the biggest reason we are in the shape we are in. His “Pro-union” Pro-pension and give money to everyone except earners are why we are broke. That streak has continued since he’s been gone. Look at Oakland….

    I’m leaning toward voting for Meg for ONE reason. She’s NEW. All the statements and political speeches don’t mean diddly. She has not done ANYTHING yet. I’m leaning toward giving her a chance…We need to rid the political climate of career politicians and this is but a step.

    I have a feeling that we are facing the lesser of two evils scenario, once again.

    Jerry Brown sucks. He’s a typical liberal asshat that would bring continued ruination to this once great state. His policies include the global warming sham that the left has wrapped itself in, and he will push that agenda with a vengeance.

    As you stated, she is a damn good business woman. I won’t argue that, but it does seem to me that she panders to whomever she feels will get her in the mansion.

    I wish others would start paying more attention to these morons that are elected.
    Stupidity is what got us into this mess in the first place.

    I agree we are facing the lesser of two evils BUT the reason I’ll vote for her stands. She has NOT voted on anything, and she has not done anything other than SPEAK. I’m inclined to give her a shot. We know Jerry Browns record and its a disaster. We need new blood in there. (Unfortunately, my argument is flawed because Arnie had no record either) That being said it really doesn’t matter who is in the governors chair. IF we don’t change the legislature of California, Goldwater, Reagan or the Good LORD himself couldn’t ufuck this state.

    I would suggest anyone in CA vote their views and don’t look back. I’m not stumping for Meg. I sure as hell am not going to place her banner in my yard nor am I going to opine favorably on this blog for her. I also will not bash her too much. After the election and if she shows her RINOism, I’ll be her worst critic.

  7. The Republicans are so funny, when the economy is good you say let’s all celebrate “Cinco de Mayo, my brothers” but when the economy is down “it’s all your fault, you damn immigrant”. When most Americans (with Latin America roots) go to the polls this November we will remember that the GOP has gone on a nationwide rant in proposing and passing several anti-immigration legislation and have continue to blame the immigrant for the flat economy or worse. We will remember who stands with us and who stands against us, so trying to stop it now is somewhat funny, but go ahead, you will not change our minds. Plus the more radical of the GOP are now attacking our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, in a misguided attempt to garner some much needed votes, they really are fools, and leading the GOP towards obscurity because they are no longer a party of ideas, just of empty suits. Your hate made you do it, in November; you will reap what you have sown. I wonder what Abraham Lincoln would say today about the current GOP, he unlike the GOP was a man of ideas.

    Good people support banking, Bad people support back robbers, Good people support Immigration, Bad people support ILLEGAL Immigration. PERIOD!

    Never did I hear anyone say when the economy is good “Lets celebrate cinco de mayo” because Mexicans made our economy stronger. On the contrary if it wasn’t for illegal immigration and the unwillingness of those coming here to ASSIMILATE our economy may be able to withstand the disaster we are currently facing.

    The REPUBLICANS are the problem The REAL PROBLEM is the RINO’s that pander to your kind in the face of overwhelming facts. The facts are your kind are parasites.
