Recovering from the MAYHEM of the NUGE!

Well, the wife and I spent last evening in Anaheim. The night started at a place called Tortilla Jo’s for a tribute to fallen soldiers:

Rick Centanni and Robert J. Cottle

Rob and Rick

Rick was killed in action March 24, 2010 when his armored vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Marja region of southern Afghanistan’s Helmand Province on the Pakistani border in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Rick and his fellow Marines sacrificed their today for our tomorrow and for this we will remain eternally grateful. We will never forget you, your sacrifice or your fallen comrades.

A memorial fund has been set up in honor of Lance Corporal Rick Centanni so that his name and legacy will live on in our community as well as in our hearts.

These guys were killed in action together and their family and friends came together to celebrate their lives. Ted Nugent came by and signed a guitar, greeted the family and payed his respects to these brave men.

We were fortunate to attend such a worthy event, and were moved by the warrior spirit to donate for the cause. I only hope the donations garnered from the event help the family. We will continue to keep them in prayer.

When you see and talk to the people that have been impacted by our wars first hand, it all of the the sudden makes it very personal. I had the opportunity to talk to some of the men that served with the two men we celebrated. I came away with a feeling of great appreciation, admiration and sorrow for what they have been through. We also couldn’t help but notice the youth of these men. These are KIDS, in our eyes. Because we are much older, the youth of these men stood out and it’s a shot in the gut to think of what they have been through.

We celebrated their lives among some of the finest men and women to grace GODS green earth. From Law enforcement, to Military, to the defenders of them. The guy that invited us to this event is a lawyer, and to me he’s a top notch patriot. Thanks Mark this event was absolutely awe inspiring.

After the event we walked across the aisle and went into the House of Blues to hear TED NUGENT! HOLY Freakin mayhem batman. That man unloaded some of the best music I have ever heard in my many years of concert attending. His three piece band came on stage at 9pm and played non-stop till 11pm. 2 straight hours of unbridled Americanism.

Ted
Sorry for the darkness of the picture but it was the best we could do

Ted made a few political statements while the bass and drum beat kept going, here are a few of them that really had the crowd hollerin:

“I hear you guys have a coyote problem around here, where I’m from Coyote’s have a Ted Problem”

“My Governor shoots Coyote’s, what does yours do?”

“We need to take California back, this is a great state but it’s leaders are fuckin morons”

“Pelosi, Boxer and Fienstein WTF? You bitches got to GO”

Holding up a Machine gun “All the skinny bitches get a machine gun, all the fat bitches get to load em”

My favorite ” Fire up your video camera phones and shit… put this up on youtube, OBAMA….FUCK YOU!

Those were just a few of my favorites…. He played like a mad man, he was filled with the spirit and he payed homage to the great blues players of old like Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, and a few others.

As of right now the hearing in my Right ear is coming back, the left ear is totally dead. But it was worth every second of it. I got a couple of “T” shirts, and an autographed pic of Ted with an 8 point buck. I also just put my “Ted Nugent for President” sticker on my Truck.

Don’t bother commenting liberals, if you have a problem with Ted Nugent take it up with him, if you want to explain how your feelings are hurt by what he says, ya need to find someone who gives a shit.
