US Authorities Investigate Incursion By Mexican Federal Police

EL PASO, Texas — Border Patrol officials are investigating an incursion by Mexican federal police into the United State on Thursday morning.

U.S. Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said armed officers with Mexico’s Secretaria de Seguridad Publica federal police were in the incursion, which took place in El Paso, near the Border Patrol’s Ysleta station.

The Mexican government, Border Patrol and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are investigating the incident. U.S. authorities responded to the incident.

An ABC-7 viewer contacted the station early Thursday, saying her son, husband and friends were hunting on the Rio Grande levy on the U.S. side when men on the Mexico side fired shots, narrowly missing them. She said more men on the Mexico side drove up with automatic weapons and into to U.S. side. She said the armed men fired weapons and stole hunters’ chairs and drove back into Mexico.

A couple days ago there was news about Mexican commando’s setting up operations on our side of the border. IF that’s the case, then perhaps these were not “Federales” they may have been cartel members looking for a fight with their own?… Either way it’s not a good thing.

Now personally I don’t care if the Mexicans want to use a staging area and share intel with us to get a handle on their issues. I really think that may be helpful. IF DONE CORRECTLY. However, it’s painfully obvious that the folks running our nation are inept. This operation needs to be shut down until we get some real leadership in charge.

The hunters who were shot at must have been bow hunting, because most deer rifles are pretty damn accurate from long distances.. Lord knows incoming rounds in my direction will get returned with accuracy… Why we are not reading about “White gun nut racist kill innocent Mexican Federale’s with a deer rifle” is beyond me.

LA Anchor Baby Welfare Tab…$600 Million

Welfare benefits for the children of illegal immigrants cost America’s largest county more than $600 million last year, according to a local official keeping tabs on the cost.

Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich released new statistics this week showing social spending for those families in his county rose to $53 million in November, putting the county government on track to spend more than $600 million on related costs for the year — up from $570 million in 2009.

Antonovich arrived at the estimate by factoring in the cost of food stamps and welfare-style benefits through a state program known as CalWORKS. Combined with public safety costs and health care costs, the official claimed the “total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers” was more than $1.6 billion in 2010.

“Not including the hundreds of millions of dollars for education,” he said in a statement.

Okay here goes my opinion on the matter and let me say first that I’m not a racist, my gardener is an illegal… Okay that was bad,… Deal with it.

California has a HUGE deficit, a HUGE part of the reason is the ANCHOR Babies that are growing up, using our education and health services as well as collecting state aid for daily rations…NOT all of them mind you but enough that the input is far far outweighed by the output of state funds.

At work the other day a bunch of us had a great discussion about the “Illegal Immigrant” issue. And let me preface this by saying there were four folks there of latino/hispanic decent, one person who was darker than I….All of us are Americans now.

The amount of disinformation out there is astounding. It came to our discussion and since I am the internet hound, I had to debunk a lot of the “Assumptions” of a couple of them. Our discussion began with one of the latino ladies saying something about California’s deficit and another person was reading about the Shooting incident in Texas where the road workers were shot at from the Mexico side.

I know for a fact that a couple of them have family in Mexico, and it was very difficult to temper my words during the discussion. But after a few minutes I realized that we were basically in agreement about the Illegal issue. One thing that kept coming up was “What are they supposed to do, there are no jobs in Mexico and the schools are poor etc. etc.” This was my opening:

My point really was made by this statement: What is happening to Mexico now, is a direct result of the illegal immigration issue here. Mexico’s labor force is leaving, and they are not the morons of the nation, they are the smart ones that have figured out how to do it. So what is left in Mexico? Former Military, Police, Politicians and sheep. Many folks think the Illegal Immigration issue here is the end of the story, it’s not. Yes it hurts our country, YES it’s costing billions of dollars to take in the Illegals into our system but there is a large amount of damage being done to the Mexican nation. They come here, have AMERICAN babies and some grow up to do WELL, open businesses and thrive. They become producers which helps OUR economy, it doesn’t help Mexico.

IF November comes and goes, and we do not have a majority CONSERVATIVE House and Senate. And 2012 sees that POS Obama re-elected  America will be a third world country by 2013. Tainted Jalapeno Peppers Linked to Farm in Mexico

July 25 (Bloomberg) — Jalapeno peppers contaminated with a strain of salmonella linked to more than 1,200 illnesses were traced to Mexico, according to U.S. regulators, who warned not to eat raw jalapenos from that country.

The Food and Drug Administration, which on July 21 told consumers to avoid all raw jalapenos, now says it’s safe to eat those grown in the U.S., said David Acheson, the agency’s associate commissioner for foods, in a phone interview today.

The original jalapeno warning came after contaminated peppers were found at a distribution center in McAllen, Texas. Investigators determined the contamination didn’t originate in the Texas center and that the peppers came from a farm in Mexico, Acheson said today. Separately, jalapenos believed responsible for sickening consumers were traced to multiple locations in Mexico.

“Tracebacks that we’ve been doing have allowed us to make a very clear determination that they are all leading back to Mexico,” Acheson said.

Mexico denied that it was the source of the contaminated peppers, saying the claim by U.S. regulators lacked scientific evidence, according to an e-mailed statement late yesterday from the agriculture ministry.

Raw tomatoes were initially linked to the illnesses by the U.S. in June. The FDA issued warnings not to eat certain tomatoes unless they were from locations that had been cleared by regulators. The FDA lifted that warning on July 17, saying any tomatoes that may have been contaminated with salmonella were no longer being sold.

The issue is not where the “Salmonella” tainted shit came from” It’s the No one knew factor. We heard it was Tomatoes and “It could have came from anywhere” answers, THAT COST A LOT OF FARMERS A LOT OF MONEY! But then it was determined that it was Jalapeno’s… BUT no answer from where they came. Jalapenos are grown in the USA too and that cost OUR FARMERS MORE MONEY!

We had a small issue of “tainted” food and WE failed miserably. If I was a terrorist and wanted to kill a lot people I would look into the food import business. The FDA is being ran like every other Government agency, Lackluster at best.
