Prepare well, Eat well, Rest up, Enjoy the football games. But don’t forget to give thanks for the men and women in harms way who are NOT AT HOME this holiday.
God Bless the American Military Service Members… You are not forgotten in this household.
We are not celebrating victory’s in WW1, WW2. We are not celebrating the Army/Navy/Marines/Air Force. We are not celebrating the fallen soldiers nor the soldiers serving now. We are CELEBRATING the founding fathers, the rag tag bunch of American who said “GIVE ME FREEDOM OR GIVE ME DEATH!” and meant it. We are celebrating the farmers, blacksmiths, carpenters, masons etc.. who threw off their chains of oppression at the hands of a tyrant and whooped their ass!
We need that fighting spirit to make a comeback. Our founding fathers had the balls and the will to say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and “FIGHT ON!” We HONOR the memory of those who stood and fought against ALL ODDS rather than submit to undue burden by an overseas “LORD”
Let us not confuse what today is about by diluting it with media fed sensationalism. Had our founders lived in this day and time, they would call us cowards for not storming the castle already. That’s a fact.
One more thing. DO NOT ACCEPT THE GREETING TODAY OF “Happy 4th of July” RESPOND WITH “Happy INDEPENDENCE DAY!” it drives progressives nuts.
