I find this story amusing in a sad kind of way. (Quote from Moonbattery)

Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is docking his family’s new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to the cash-strapped Bay State.

If the “Isabel” were kept at the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee’s summer vacation home on Nantucket, or in Boston Harbor near his city residence, he would be liable for $437,500 in one-time sales tax.

He would also have to pay $70,000 in annual excise taxes.

Rhode Island repealed those taxes in 1993. That has made the state something of a nautical tax haven.

Why is it sad, you ask?

Well, lets look at the Democrats “Tax the rich” business plan. They are planning on removing the tax breaks for people making over 250k a year. A lot of small business owners fit that bill. So if John Kerry moves is yacht to a place with “Lower Taxes” to avoid the costs. What do you think the “Business Owners” making a lot less than him will do?

Businesses will do exactly the same thing, and I sure as hell don’t blame them. People making over 250k a year have been this administrations ENEMY from day one, and they have made no secret of it. No POOR person has ever hired a person and made it possible for that person to “Pursue Happiness.”

Businesses will pass the cost of these taxes to the consumer. It looks good on paper to these idiots in charge, BUT the truth is, Even their own dodge taxes. Gietner, Rangle, Kerry and a slew of others are doing exactly what they will force the business men/women of our nation to do….Bail.
