After Cut and Run.. Iraq Chaos

There’s many people who believe many things about the Iraq war, there’s probably a bit of truth in all of them.

Did Iraq have WMD’s? Yep. They did at some point. Did they have them when we went in? Evidently not. But I find it incredibly odd that Syria now has WMD’s and have used them. Syria has no manufacturing facility to produce the WMD’s but they have an awful lot of it now. Who did they get them from? is it really so hard to fathom that they were transferred to Syria prior to the US led invasion? Look at the map again….

Were WMD’s the only reason we sent American boots in? Nope but it was the most palatable for the population of the USA. People forget the blood lust we all had after 9-11-2001. Afghanistan had no infrastructure, nothing more than mud huts/caves and primitive roads. Afghanistan was going to be a really long war from the outset and everyone knew it. The news media didn’t have enough buildings being leveled or POW’s being paraded to sustain the revenge we wanted.

So, enter Iraq, WMD’s or not, we had been flying security there for 12+ years, UN resolutions, Iraqi’s were begging for help, all kinds of reasons to get rid of a tyrant because the world changed on 9-11. So the debate was had, UN consulted, Congress voted to allow the POTUS to act. And that vote was more bi-partisan than anything since then. I think only 2 or 3 congress critters voted against it. But its all Bush’s fault… No Iraq was ALL OF OUR FAULTS or ALL OF OUR DECISIONS based on the make up of this nations governance. You can’t get out of responsibility.

Iraq was just as much a geographical issue as anything else. Look at a map and see where Iran is located.. There were lots of good reasons to take down Iraq. There were also red flags regarding taking down Iraq. The issue was debated in congress, the permission was granted through 99% of congress for the C.I.C to go open loop on Iraq. And I love how the first couple weeks, the democrat party were all gung ho about the need to take down a tyrant. Then, a mistake was made, we decided to fight a war and rebuild a nation in the middle of the fight. We thought we could obtain the highest of grounds while fighting savages from the 17th century. We thought we’d win hearts and minds by freeing prisoners.. Things got tough, democrats went into blame mode. And all these years later, nothing has changed.

The opposition party at the time, created the division within America that would eventually derail the Iraq hopes. Obama cut and ran and left Iraq to fend for itself. Everyone knew what was going to happen, most of us are just surprised it took this long.

So the bottom line is: It doesn’t matter why we went in, be it daddy issues, WMDs, blood lust or whatever, once we did it, we owed it to our boys to finish it, we owed it to the lives lost fighting for a free Iraq, to see it through. Not open ended, but certainly not the cut and run that was done.

Iraq is going to be a big player in years to come. And as always, democrats will be blameless. The Facts on the other hand are truly opposite than what the democrat party wants you to believe. Look at the roll call votes for the Iraq war. They say “We were lied to” Um, no you were told something, you believed it true or not and you voted. Just like every bill ever put on the floor. The truth about Iraq hasn’t yet been fully vetted. Syria has WMD’s now, where’d they get them? They have no manufacturing facility for the gas they have, could it be that was from Iraq’s stockpile? Possible yes, fact, not clear yet.

There’s more unanswered questions about Iraq than any other war/police action in history. And its made worse by the political arena. My anger over this issue is boiling over for one reason. We lost over 4,000 American soldiers taking Saddam Hussein down. Not long ago, Joe Biden stated that “Ending the Iraq war was a great accomplishment for Barack Obama” He went on to state that we’re leaving a free Iraq, an Iraq that just held elections and Obama showed great leadership etc.. What we have now is what we all knew would happen. The minute the Islamic slugs saw the weakness of the President of the USA they’d over run Iraq and undo all the gains.

So again, Barack Obama is proven to hate the United States Service Men/women. He’s pissed on veterans his entire term in office. The biggest tell tale example of how high he holds veterans was his closing of the memorials during the shut down. I don’t care who you blame for the shut down. NO POTUS EVER closed down war memorials of our veterans. Obama did. That should tell you where a veteran stacks up in Obama’s views. No matter what his teleprompter tells him to say. Actions spoke to me loudly.

Fast and Furious and Obama’s Dilema

Fast and Furious and Obama’s Dilema

I’ve been pretty busy lately. Just trying to keep our heads above water. We’re doing all we can to stave off the effects of this never ending recession and we’re losing the battle. We’ll survive and we’ll do it without the government. That’s what we do. Now onto the latest example of incompetent leadership.

Eric Holder was held in contempt and Obama inserted his “Executive Privilege” Which is HIS RIGHT TO DO. Presidents have exercised that option throughout history. However; If you spent the last year or so claiming you knew nothing about Operation Fast and Furious, claiming executive privilege makes you either a liar in the first part. OR a very good friend to cover up the lies in the second part. Either way, it’s now YOURS.

Now, the entire investigation has been blamed on Racism is nothing new. But what is new is the latest Pelosi reasoning: “There’s a connection between this witch hunt and the fact that Eric Holder is fighting against voter suppression” WOW How many yoga classes do you have to take to twist facts into that reasoning? Too stupid for words is she. (YODA)

Now the next excuse is.. Wait for it… BUSH’S FAULT. I love this one. And the uneducated believe it.. or are too love struck with king Obama to apply reason and logic to that charge.
Facts are miserable things to liberal/progressive/power hungry democrats.

The heart of the issue for me is simple: The underhandedness at which this operation was undertaken is a real problem. It shows the character of those in charge and it calls into question the lengths they will go to get their agenda through the American people.

Here’s a couple more things to think about:

1. Trayvon Martin looks like Obama’s son. Sandra Fluke gets a call from Obama after Rush correctly pointed out that she’s a slut. Brian Terry’s family has yet to hear from Obama.

2. The Media, the very people who are supposed to be watching the rulers for the people didn’t even run the story until months after it broke. And who broke it? Bloggers.

3. Can you imagine the actions of these agenda driven king complexed elected officials if BLOGGERS were silenced? Can you imagine the damage done to our nation with only NETWORK MEDIA to report?

Just a few things to think about the next time you watch the state run media and think they are doing their jobs.

Why is America so divided?

Why is America so divided?

It’s a trust issue. I firmly believe it’s because the American people have lost trust in leadership. Not only lost it, but everyday become more cynical. This is dangerous, but expected.

We trusted Reagan, and he really never lost that trust.  We trusted Bush #1 and his read my lips “No new taxes” ruined that trust. We trusted Clinton and he destroyed that trust on a couple of fronts. One of which was Monica’s…We trusted Bush#2, and we got a few slaps for that, although in each of the previous POTUS’s it took a while to for the betrayal. Obama has stomped our trust from about day 2. But on top of the POTUS, we had a congress that was the MOST UNETHICAL in history. Is it any wonder the country is falling apart at the seams?

If you can’t trust your leaders to be honest about problems, how in the world can we expect them to solve them? We have very few folks in Government, state or Federal that I would trust. They could tell me the sky is blue, I’m going to check.

The question is WHO in Congress has your trust? Who would you take at their word? Is there one or more in the halls of the senate or the house, that you would believe? I’m having a very hard tome buying any of the B.S ANY of them are shoveling these days. Although we have 87 new House Members, and a couple NEW Senators.

As of Now I trust Allen West, Marco Rubio, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and perhaps a few others. But I say, if you were in congress during the Bush years and you voted for MORE spending in the 2004/5 years you are part of the problem and are partisan. IF you are a new fish, you have trust but verify status.

Good vs Bad in Democrat speak…

Good vs Bad in Democrat speak…

So lets get this straight:

ObamaCare; 1 trillion dollars in debt, costing jobs= GOOD Debt

Stimulus package: 1 trillion dollars in debt, no jobs created except government jobs = GOOD Debt.

Cap and Trade: Cost millions of job, adding billions to the national debt = Good Debt.

Unemployment benefits: 2 years of benefits because of the economy being in bad shape due to the ABOVE policies, adding BILLIONS to the national debt = Good Debt.

Bush tax cuts: Keeping the tax rate the same as it has been for the last 7 years, expected to many private sector jobs, will add 200 billion to the debt (For upper income earners) but will increase revenue by reducing unemployment  = BAD DEBT.

I hope you guys understand the liberpuke mind now.

I don’t think the GOP has a clue of how to go on the offensive. The Obama policies have kept the economy in a ditch. These tax extensions will help but the real job killer is the Obama care package. There will be recovery when that law is repealed and/or repaired.

IF the GOP doesn’t repeal that health care debacle, and if they cave to this so-called compromise with Obama I think a 3rd party option is going to be necessary in 2012.

For GAWD SAKE, a third party needs a strong candidate though. Someone better than Bob Barr or Ralph Nader…. I’ll tell you this, if Allen West ran as a WHIG party candidate I’m voting WHIG….

Another thing I’m really sick of hearing about and it’s making a comeback. “Obama inherited this economy” is a good argument for the first year. And if Obama would have NOT spent so much money and time adding to the economy’s woes with healthcare and the other anti-business policies, it may be a good argument. BUT Obama and his far left loons have kept the economy in the crapper and it’s ALL OBAMA NOW! Quit whining liberpukes your hero pulled you out in to the light and now your “Programs” are showing the truth to the masses.

Good bye Democrats and RINO’s America is waking up and we are engaged. No more hiding pork, no more socialism, no more status quo. You are all on notice.

Finally: DeMint says “It’s been 4 years since Bush was Responsible…”

Finally: DeMint says “It’s been 4 years since Bush was Responsible…”

The snake oil Democrats are peddling meets the truth…Tell it to em Jim DeMint:

DeMint: It’s been four years since Bush was responsible for economic policy

It’s been four years since President George W. Bush could be held responsible for the nation’s economy, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) said Monday evening.

DeMint dismissed a key part of Democrats’ midterm messaging — warning voters against a return to Bush-era policies — reasoning that Democrats have been controlling U.S. economic policies during the past four years in which they’ve controlled Congress.

“The president [Obama] keeps saying he inherited this, but the fact is that it’s been four years since President Bush had anything to do with economic policy,” DeMint said during an appearance on WVOC radio in South Carolina.

The South Carolina conservative sought to rebut an argument advanced by Democrats from President Obama on down in recent months: Returning Republicans to power in Congress would mean a return to some of the policies voters found less popular during the Bush administration.

“The policies that crashed the economy, that undercut the middle class, that mortgaged our future, do we really want to go back to that, or do we keep moving our country forward?” Obama said Monday at a Democratic fundraiser, part of a sustained effort to hammer away at Bush.

DeMint said, though, that some of the bills voters find most distasteful had been advanced during the past four years, after Democrats won back control of the House and Senate from Republicans in the 2006 elections.

“The Democrats have been in control of both houses of Congress for four years now. Congress writes economic policy; they spend the money,” he said. “So it was the Democrat Congress that wrote the TARP bailout, they did the stimulus, they did the ‘Cash for Clunkers.’ They have done the healthcare, the financial bill. This is an unchecked Democratic agenda.”

I’ve been saying this since the early days of the Obama regime. The Democrats have been in control of the purse strings since 2006, they have ran the country into the ground. YES Bush is responsible for some of it, but to place all the blame on Bush is ridiculous. Ridiculous YES, typical democrat ABSOLUTELY. The spin machine on the Democrat side is working overtime, trying to not let the facts get in the way of good fabrication.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid are as responsible as Bush for our current economic collapse and subsequent LACK of recovery. They have no answer for it other than Blame that which is not fully to blame. I really hope AMERICANS see the truth and vote these slugs out ASAP!
