McCain Calls Obama a Cowboy?

June 21st, 2008 . by Robert

John McCain has accused Barack Obama of “cowboy diplomacy” over free trade that threatened to undermine relations with Canada and reverse the benefits of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

The Republican presidential candidate made the attack before heading to Ottawa on Friday for a speech championing the virtues of free trade.

Writing in the Detroit Free Press, Mr McCain said it would be the “height of economic and foreign policy irresponsibility” to demand renegotiation of Nafta, as Mr Obama proposed in February.

Mr McCain said Mr Obama was wrong to have argued that Nafta had “devastating” consequences for US communities. “What truly would be devastating is to jeopardise the trade expansion of Nafta through a misguided, isolationist impulse that would inevitably and understandably alienate a key partner like Canada.”

Mr Obama acknowledged this week that the rhetoric on free trade had become “overheated and amplified” during the primaries and appeared to back away from his threat to renegotiate Nafta unilaterally. “I’m not a big believer in doing things unilaterally,” he told Fortune magazine.

In his speech to business leaders in Ottawa, Mr McCain promised to lead an “outward-looking America”.

Did anyone catch the HYPOCRISY and outright pandering? or am I picking fly shit out of pepper?

1. McCain attacks Obama’s “COWBOY Diplomacy”??? WTF have we been accustom to for the last 8 years? Bush is the epitome of those words yet OBAMA being a little maverick is BAD? just a little Hypocrisy.

2. Obama says “He is not a big believer in doing things unilaterally” well dipstick being a leader sometimes calls for making tough decisions, and if you aren’t willing to go it alone and put your ass on the line for WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, then you will never be a leader. GWB did it, although I think on a couple of key areas he shouldn’t have, at least he took the shot. He put it out there, and he will be judged in 10 to 20 years on what he did… It will take that long for us to remove the stains.

Note to John McCain, if you want to call out Obama’s lack of experience and liberal tendencies (FAR LEFT VIEWS) fine, call him a lemming or whatnot., but when I think of Obama I don’t really think Cowboy, I think Jimmy Carter with a tan.

OOps here I go again:

Sen. Edward Kennedy has malignant brain tumor

May 20th, 2008 . by TexasFred

BOSTON (AP) - A cancerous brain tumor caused the seizure Sen. Edward M. Kennedy suffered over the weekend, doctors said Tuesday in a grim diagnosis for one of American politics’ most enduring figures. “He remains in good spirits and full of energy,” the doctors for the 76-year-old Massachusetts Democrat said in a statement.

They said tests conducted after the seizure showed a tumor in Kennedy’s left parietal lobe. Preliminary results from a biopsy of the brain identified the cause of the seizure as a malignant glioma, they said.

His treatment will be decided after more tests but the usual course includes combinations of radiation and chemotherapy.

Kennedy has been hospitalized in Boston since Saturday, when he was airlifted from Cape Cod after a seizure at his home.

“He has had no further seizures, remains in good overall condition, and is up and walking around the hospital,” said the statement by Dr. Lee Schwamm, vice chairman of the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Dr. Larry Ronan, Kennedy’s primary care physician.

They said Kennedy will remain in the hospital “for the next couple of days according to routine protocol.”

Kennedy’s wife and children have been with him each day since he was hospitalized. Senator Kennedy’s son, Rep. Patrick Kennedy, D-R.I., plans to stay at the hospital for the time being.

Sen. Edward Kennedy has malignant brain tumor

“Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law? Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?” ~ Senator Ted Kennedy, 1973

I wonder, when the hallucinations set in, and they will, I wonder if Sen. Kennedy will ask that question of Mary Jo Kopechne, will he use that as his justification for her death??

I am sure there will be a reckoning, and a time when Kennedy answers for that incident in his near future…

Mary Jo Kopechne (July 26, 1940 – July 18, 1969) was an American teacher, secretary and administrator, notable for her death in a car accident on Chappaquiddick Island in a car driven by Senator Ted Kennedy. SOURCE

So, here we go again, just like last weekend, the MSM has a bleeding heart story to flood the airwaves with, even FOX News, all of them, they are singing the praises of Ted Kennedy as if he were being Canonized, and ya know, that wouldn’t surprise me either, knowing the desperation of his followers for another idol to worship…

In all the ballyhoo being spewed by the MSM I have yet to hear them call him a murderer, a drunk, a womanizer, and adulterer, an abortion supporting liberal or any of that, he’s getting a free pass from ALL of them, and he’s not even dead yet, I wonder what we’ll hear when that takes place??

Excuse me if I can’t offer up any sympathy for Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, I despised him in life and I will not denigrate myself by becoming a hypocrite as his death approaches…

HANNITY: Obama, Wright GAY Relationship

May 15th, 2008 . by TexasFred

HANNITY: Obama, Wright GAY Relationship

Nationally Syndicated radio talk show host Sean Hannity, continued his commitment of the “Stop Obama Express”, by providing a forum for Pastor James David Manning, of ATLAH World Ministries, to launch yet another unsubstantiated and slanderous attack against Senator Obama (D-IL). The most recent allegation leveled against the candidate [Obama] is the claim of a “Homosexual Relationship” between he and his former Pastor Jeremiah Wright, as an explanation of the Senator’s unwillingness to more readily “Disown” the Pastor upon learning about the hate-filled rhetoric of his [Pastor Wright's] many sermons.
