McCain Camp Knocks Down Enquirer’s Palin Rumor

ST. PAUL, MINN.) – John McCain’s campaign threatened legal action against the National Enquirer today for running a story about McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin, allegedly having an affair with her husband’s business partner.

“The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt.

“The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it.”

The enquirer responds:

ENQURIER RESPONDS TO MCCAIN/PALIN
Wed Sep 03 2008 18:19:21 ET

“The National Enquirer’s coverage of a vicious war within Sarah Palin’s extended family includes several newsworthy revelations, including the resulting incredible charge of an affair plus details of family strife when the Governor’s daughter revealed her pregnancy. Following our John Edwards’ exclusives, our political reporting has obviously proven to be more detail-oriented than the McCain campaign’s vetting process. Despite the McCain camp’s attempts to control press coverage they find unfavorable, The Enquirer will continue to pursue news on both sides of the political spectrum.”

You see how the tabloid media works? The Enquirer got some credit because they found out about John Edwards, so now they can make an accusation like this and have some “Street Credit”.
They have got the focus away from the “experience” of Sarah Palin.. Good plan Obama camp, but you can only hide for so long. Eventually the American people will see you in action, and see your plans for what they are. SOCIALISTIC Experiments.
Biden and Obama the initials spell it all B-O, and something is rotten in Messiahland.

I think this Enquirer investigation is a good thing, I think if the Palin family comes out of it unscathed then Palin wins. I think if they harp on the “Family Strife” after her daughter got pregnant, they will experience a large backlash.

I trust Sarah Palin to have been completely honest with the McCain camp from the beginning. IF not this will be the last chapter of the Republican party.

Just a word of advice to the Enquirer:
Investigate moral issues if you want, but be careful not to MANUFACTURE “facts” to sell a magazine.

Oh and explain this too me would you Barrack Hussein Obama supporters:

Edwards was considered a pariah at the convention for cheating on his wife, yet the Demorats saw fit to put Bill Clinton on the stage

The moral high ground will always be on the side of Conservatives, we will have our idiots, but we remove them, the democrats put their idiots in charge.

  1. AMERICA PLEASE WAKE UP!!!

I am a registered Republican, at first I had decided to vote for John McCain, but later changed my mind. When it came to my knowledge that he abandoned what he originally stood for and over the years adopted the Bush hard line. It’s understood that he wanted to prove to the Republican base he was one of them and not the maverick they disliked, which proves his inefficiency to stand up to the Republican Party.

On separate occasions the McCain’s stated that they were not going to run a nasty campaign, which they contradicted by providing us with dishonest commercials, campaign speeches, and interviews. They denied to the press of having carried out such a campaign. They said whatever they stated regarding themselves and Barack Obama is a fact. Several times John McCain stated that if Barack Obama had done what he had suggested then he could have run a more civil campaign. This sounds like imposition to me. Doesn’t he realize that we can see through this excuse?

When people in general raised questions regarding John McCain’s age he assures them of having an experienced Vice Presidential candidate, in case something happens to him. Hence he decided the best person for this position would be Sarah Palin. This leaves the country in dismay as she has limited political experience.

However, she was introduced at the Republican convention as a maverick, a reformer, who did not take earmarks, nor support the bridge to nowhere, and who never indulges in wasteful spending. Besides she was declared as an expert on the economy, well versed in foreign affairs, and having more experience than Joe Biden and Barack Obama put together.

Recently in an interview on Sarah Palin, Charles Gibson (reporter for CBS) proved the claims about her to be false. She is a devout Christian, but she refuses to tell the truth, and when Charles Gibson asked her to revise her blatant lies she refused too. Isn’t this violating the laws of Christianity? Thus it seems she is willing to compromise her religious faith to be the next VP of the United States of America.

She has extreme beliefs and views on many subjects like the Iraq war (she thinks this war is God’s will), abortion (she does not believe in it even in circumstances of incest and rape and if she gets a chance she will overturn Roe V. Wade), views on hunting (she allows people to shoot animals from planes), taking protection way (wants to take polar bears off the endangered species list). Besides she attends a church that believes in getting rid of homosexuality through prayer and that Jews have been persecuted for their refusal to believe in Jesus. She is currently under investigation for a possible abuse of her power as Governor of Alaska. Lastly, she feels global warming is a natural phenomenon and there is no evidence that it is man-made.

As for my belief on the abortion issue I do not believe in abortion for myself as a choice, however, I do believe it should be a woman’s choice and not the federal or state government’s. God did give humans free will to make their own decisions and as a result we are responsible for all of them. God will be the final judge of all our sins and all sins are created equal in God’s eyes. So, does anybody feel Sarah Palin somehow forgot this?

After being disappointed in John McCain and how he has chosen to run his campaign; I decided to start watching the Democratic campaign speeches and realized Obama is at least talking about the issues like the economy, job loss, health care and education. McCain spends the majority of his time distorting Obama’s record and lying about his proposed ideas for this country. You would think McCain would spend his time talking about what he is going to do for this country. Well the most ironic thing McCain has done is now he is talking about being the change candidate. Does anybody think it’s strange that for the last 18 months or so McCain never mentioned being the change candidate? As I remembered, McCain was running a campaign for the last 18 months or so on experience.

On September the 15th the stock market fell more than 500 points, then Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy; job losses is still at a record high and gasoline prices are on a rise again. On this same day, McCain at a campaign rally made the following statement “he thinks the economy is fundamentally strong”. Does anybody really think McCain is in touch with what’s going on in this economy? Well, McCain shame on you.

Freddie Mac paid 15K a month to McCain aide’s firm

By PETE YOST, Associated Press Writer Tue Sep 23, 11:03 PM ET
WASHINGTON – The lobbying firm of John McCain’s campaign manager was paid $15,000 a month for several years until last month by one of two housing companies taken over by the federal government, a person familiar with the financial arrangement said Tuesday night.
That money from Freddie Mac to the firm of Rick Davis was on top of more than $30,000 a month that went directly to Davis for five years starting in 2000.
The $30,000 a month came from both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, the other housing entity now under government control because of the crisis in the financial markets.
All the payments were first reported by The New York Times, which posted a story on its Web site Tuesday night revealing the $15,000 a month to the firm of Davis Manafort. The newspaper quoted two people with knowledge of the arrangement.
In response to the disclosure, McCain’s presidential campaign issued a statement saying Davis left the firm and stopped taking a salary in 2006.
A person familiar with the contract says the $15,000-a-month in payments from Freddie Mac to Davis’s firm started around the end of 2005 and continued until the last month or so. The person spoke on condition of anonymity.
The connection between Davis and the housing giants that figure so centrally in the global financial crisis emerged after the McCain campaign unleashed a sharp attack on Democratic rival Barack Obama.
McCain has tied Obama to Fannie and Freddie’s troubles and has called on Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines — both Obama supporters and former Fannie Mae executives — to return million-dollar “golden parachute” payments they received from the corporation after leaving. Obama had chosen Johnson to run his vice presidential search committee, but Johnson stepped down after McCain and other Republicans began criticizing his home mortgage deals.
McCain’s campaign recently released a television ad that says Raines is among those advising Obama on housing policy.
Obama’s campaign released a statement from Raines, who says he is not an Obama adviser

  3. @Melissa: Well thank you for that BULLSHIT Obama supporting cut and paste.
That little “I was a McCain Supporter” is supposed to make folks think that Obama is the best choice? Far from it.

McCain and Obama are both in bed with big business, big oil, and guilty of pandering… big deal.
I am voting for McCain because HE ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING, HE is putting his money where his mouth is, HE has sacrificed, HE has gone across party lines to help our nation, something that emty suit you support wont do and we will be in the same mess in 2 yrs… support the commie/liberal/socialist idiot if you want but I am not buying it.

  4. Robert, open your eyes.

John McCain has been flip-flopping on the issues and tells blatant lies. If you don’t believe me you can go on the Internet to any of the news websites and watch all his speeches and interviews. So Robert, why is he unable to be calm and professionall while handling this crisis? Isn’t he the candidate with many years of experience, but instead he looks like a new candidate very uncomfortable, nervous, and unsure of himself. In his flustered state he went from the economy is fundamentally strong, to wanting to fire the person who is handling the economic crisis, then blames Obama for this crisis, and now the economy is in such bad shape that we are headed for a deep recession etc…

Remember McCains really funny joke it goes like this “bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran” this is the unprofessional behavior we don’t need in a president. Let me tell you what I’m looking for in a president. First, a person who can think on their feet, calmly handle a crisis, always conduct themselves in a professional manner, can handle foreign affairs, and won’t confuse Sunnis and Shiites. Also, having common sense as well as highly educated, understands the economy, excellent communications skills, works well under pressure. Lastly, the foresight to know when going to war is the wrong choice and could see neglecting Afghanistan would allow Al Qaeda the time to rebuild their network. Barack Obama has all of these characteristics and much more and he will make an exceptional president.

So Robert, I’m a little confused; I don’t see how Barack Obama is an empty suit. I do agree with you two years from now will be in the same mess, however, this will only happen if McCain becomes president, he is one of the people who got us in this mess.

Now that Obama is ahead in the polls John McCain has decided to suspend his campaign and go back to Washington to deal with the economic bailout. He also wants to cancel this Friday’s debate. Of course, he was able to make time to meet with the leader of Georgia and be interviewed on CBS by Katie Couric. I think the American people should feel insulted that he apparently doesn’t have any time for them. This is just another one of his gimmicks to sidetrack the American people and I think this is ridiculous. Frankly I’m sick of his political stunts. He would prefer not to face the American people and have to answer the tough questions on the downturn of the economy. So tell me why he’s running scared from the debate?

He is a deregulator and always has been. He didn’t believe in providing any safeguards, but now suddenly he’s going to fix the problems he helped to create. Does anybody remember the Keating five? The scandalous savings and loan crisis that he was directly involved with. I find it ironic that everybody is scared to bring up that part of McCain’s past, which I think is relevant. It’s almost the same financial bailout the only difference is this will cost more money. What I see is that McCain hasn’t learned a damn thing because if he did he would have made sure some safeguards where in place before the deregulation bill passed. I don’t remember hearing him screaming and yelling then, or any other time about the unwillingness of Congress or the Senate to have safeguards in place. He is rich and is for the rich and that is why he has the biggest lobbyists and the good old boy network running his campaign. So do you think we should believe him? Granted I am not blaming McCain for all of this, however, he is running for the highest office in the land.

Well, is anybody concerned about John McCain’s campaign adviser, Davis Manafort has been receiving $15,000 a month from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and the last payment was received last month. McCain was recently interviewed on 60 minutes and stated Davis stopped receiving money from them in 2006. I guess there must be a hole in the vetting process, surprise, surprise and surprise. Does anybody feel that this is a conflict of interest? Wow, I’m really interested to see how he’s going to get out of this one. Perhaps, that’s the real reason he suspended his campaign another great diversionary technique. I hope they don’t let him get away with it. The American people are pissed off over the bailout; and when they find out this new revelation he will continue to plummet in the polls.

I love the straight talk express.

To my fellow Republicans What I don’t understand is how they can support him. He is constantly changing his mind throughout this horrible economic situation. I guess being Republican for some of you is more important than putting the right person in the White House. Lastly, I thought putting your country first was not just a slogan.

Robert, by the way I am writing my own comment.

    Melissa

  5. @Melissa: Melissa, I believe you are one of the “Obamamnessiah’s” foot soldiers, you are using all of the “James Carville” taliking points BUT you fail to see the real issue.
Obama is the most liberal senator ever to be this close to the whitehouse. On top of Reid, Pelosi?? I am afraid all of your “Talking points” will not address my concerns regarding Father Phlegar, Rev Wright, Farrakhan, they do not address the lack of experience at reaching across party lines and handling AMERICA’S issues. They do not address the lack of leadership OBAMA shows in regards to foreign policy. OH and until you or anyone else can convince me that Obama is not a communist with socialist tendencies I will continue to support McCain/Palin.

BTW, you have a very selective recollection of Freddy and Fannie, what about Frank? did you mention all the REPUBLICAN’S Screaming about regulation prior to 2004? and DEMORAT’S blocking it so the poor could afford houses? Look what that has got us….You are blinded by the light bringer… face facts, THe only chance we have as a nation is McCain/Palin for 4 years then a TRUE Conservative president in 2012.

  6. Robert, the only person who is a traitor to this country is Palin’s husband. He belonged to a political party and their purpose was to take Alaska away from the United States. When they had their convention Palin would send them a video welcoming them and telling them their party was important. So who is the real traitor against the United States?

My memory serves me right when it comes to John McCain and his involvement. He is the fundamental deregulator and isn’t he the one running for president. By the way no comments from you about campaign adviser, Davis Manafort and the $15,000 a month he received from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. He receive these payments up until last month.
    Melissa

  7. @Melissa: So now we go after the VP candidate’s husband because you have nothing left? Ok lets talk about Mrs HUSSEIN OBAMA… Little miss “I am not proud of America” well until yall elect a black man then all will be good…

Melissa, you have proven yourself a Mooney in the highest order, Obama and his cronies are the idiots that caused this financial lapse, The DEMOCRAT party … say it with me Mellisa THE DEMOCRAT party kept deregulation out of fannie and freddie in 2003, 20005 and 2007.. talk to Frank, and OBAMA… check Obama’s vote record on the subject, and quit drinking the koolaid.

  8. @TexasFred: yeah MoonBat Obama foot soldier.. Remember Obama told his brainwashed crew to attack those of differing opinion…. Well WE are differing.

Did you know CHANGE was an acronym Fred?

It stands for Come Help A Negro Get Elected…. and Mellisa is answering the call, regardless of what Obama stands for or will bring to the country.. Obama will be worse than Bush twenty fold. Obama is the worst possible person to be in charge during these crucial times…

  9. Robert, I see you have finally shown your true colors. So, I guess you believe in the same old racist name-calling. Well, I figured you were ignorant, so your comment doesn’t surprise me. So I guess in your world to be politically correct African-Americans and blacks don’t deserve to be Americans. People like you are the reason we have had problems in America. I am a white Wal-Mart mom who is living in a small Arizona town and I find you’re racism disgusting. Wow, you thought I was African-American, guess I fooled you.
In the last 2 weeks I have spoken to 15 other Republicans all white Wal-Mart moms that are voting for Obama. What you racists don’t understand is that this country is moving forward and leaving people like you behind. What I see is ordinary Americans have decided to put their country first and leave bias in the past.

Let’s get to the facts about the VP. This week Katie Couric interviewed the experienced Sarah Palin. Why can’t she remember her talking points?

well, She does HAVE MORE experience In foreign affairs than Obama and Biden put TOGETHER; please, this theory is laughable, read and weep.

READ THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.

Couric: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

Sarah Palin: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundary that we have with Canada. It’s funny that a comment like that was kinda made to … I don’t know, you know … reporters.

    Couric: Mocked?

Palin: Yeah, mocked, I guess that’s the word, yeah.

Couric: Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.

Palin: Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there…

Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state.

Couric: When President Bush ran for office, he opposed nation-building. But he has spent, as you know, much of his presidency promoting democracy around the world. What lessons have you learned from Iraq? And how specifically will you try to spread democracy throughout the world?

Palin: Specifically, we will make every effort possible to help spread democracy for those who desire freedom, independence, tolerance, respect for equality. That is the whole goal here in fighting terrorism also. It’s not just to keep the people safe, but to be able to usher in democratic values and ideals around this, around the world.

Couric: You met yesterday with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who is for direct diplomacy with both Iran and Syria. Do you believe the U.S. should negotiate with leaders like President Assad and Ahmadinejad?

Palin: I think, with Ahmadinejad, personally, he is not one to negotiate with. You can’t just sit down with him with no preconditions being met. Barack Obama is so off-base in his proclamation that he would meet with some of these leaders around our world who would seek to destroy America and that, and without preconditions being met. That’s beyond naïve. And it’s beyond bad judgment.

Couric: Are you saying Henry Kissinger …

    Palin: It’s dangerous.

Couric: … is naïve for supporting that?

Palin: I’ve never heard Henry Kissinger say, “Yeah, I’ll meet with these leaders without preconditions being met.” Diplomacy is about doing a lot of background work first and shoring up allies and positions and figuring out what sanctions perhaps could be implemented if things weren’t gonna go right. That’s part of diplomacy.

Couric: You recently said three times that you would never, quote, “second guess” Israel if that country decided to attack Iran. Why not?

Palin: We shouldn’t second guess Israel’s security efforts because we cannot ever afford to send a message that we would allow a second Holocaust, for one. Israel has got to have the opportunity and the ability to protect itself. They are our closest ally in the Mideast. We need them. They need us. And we shouldn’t second guess their efforts.

Couric: You don’t think the United States is within its rights to express its position to Israel? And if that means second-guessing or discussing an option?

Palin: No, abso … we need to express our rights and our concerns and …

Couric: But you said never second guess them.

Palin: We don’t have to second-guess what their efforts would be if they believe … that it is in their country and their allies, including us, all of our best interests to fight against a regime, especially Iran, who would seek to wipe them off the face of the earth. It is obvious to me who the good guys are in this one and who the bad guys are. The bad guys are the ones who say Israel is a stinking corpse and should be wiped off the face of the earth. That’s not a good guy who is saying that. Now, one who would seek to protect the good guys in this, the leaders of Israel and her friends, her allies, including the United States, in my world, those are the good guys.

    Robert,

By the way no comments from you about campaign adviser, Davis Manafort and the $15,000 a month he received from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. He received these payments up until last month. I guess you are dumbfounded or may be tongue-tied on this issue.

If it wasn’t for Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell, George W. Bush would have sounded like a bigger idiot, because they were the ones that tried to help him understand foreign policy. He also had a problem memorizing his talking points and always seems to put his foot in his mouth. Just to let you know, I voted for that idiot twice. That’s why I refuse to vote for John McCain, this country cannot afford another four more years of the same failed policies.

    Melissa

  10. @Melissa: You should really remove that stick from your ass… That particular saying was first coined by a BLACK man. And just because I posted it makes me a racist? You appear to be a little too sensitive to have ever been a “republican” you have always been a tree hugging liberal troll and you know it. You are not fooling anyone with this diatribe.
Never once did I assume you were black and I really dont give a shit.

You and those like you are trying to wreck our country not fix it. You go after Palin just like your daddy Obama asks you to do, and call into question her answers… Uh Mellisa, do you know the difference between VP and Pres? do you need a lesson in government? You wall mart moms at least the 15 you have managed to convince are truly lost. I believe you gals are scared of Palin, and I know why, she is MORE woman than any of your Demorat friends keep talking Melissa you are digging a whole..

Personally I don’t give a damn who wins, but Right now My vote goes to McCain who has done more than be a black man and vote Present on tough issues. And Palin who is new blood, fresh and has a moral compass that is not set on fail.

Mellisa You truly can keep blowing Obama, it makes no difference to me, But remember this:
If Hillary was the Democrat Nominee, I would be more inclined to vote for her. Since the Democrats decided they want a senator that has voted Present more than yeah or nay, a senator that has NEVER reached across political lines, A senator that has been running for president longer than he has served his constituents, a senator that his taking his orders from the most liberal assholes in congress… No thanks. I’ll vote McCain and you can sit in the hall with Phlegar, Wright, Farrakahan, all of obama’s friends of America. With those friends in Power the enemy’s of our nation get their wish.

No need to respond mrs Wal Mart mom, I am a racist because I wont vote for Obama.. I am ready for the cry’s of your kind, we heard it already… “They cheated” “Voter fraud” “Gore won, Kerry won” whaaaa whaaaa whaaaa you libtards are all alike Whine and cry about everything but offer nothing in the way of solutions Obama is nothing more than the manchurian candidate at best and the anti Christ at worst. Get off the kool aid Mellisa.

  11. Robert, Obama is half white remember he has a white mother from Kansas and was raised by white grandparents.

So, you must belief in the old racism saying “one drop of black blood makes a person a Negro”. What I find funny is white people never know who they might be related too. Obama might just be related to one of you racists.

Palin has a moral compass, please, with a knocked up daughter. Maybe if Palin taught her daughter sex education she would not have had to fail at abstinence.

You are the only person drinking Palin’s kool aid.

    Melissa

  12. @Melissa: Well I think everyone knows when an argument is lost… The minute an Obama supporter calls you a racist YOU WIN….LMAO

Mrs “I was a Republican” is showing her moonbat colors. The Palin daughter argument? really? My GOD these idiots that support Obama are sick! Do we want 4 years of baby killing, gun grabbing whiney bastards running our country? NOPE and believe me Mellisa it’s not going to happen, Obama will lose in a tight race but HE won’t be the President… Oh and in case you wonder why, it’s not because of his color, it’s because he’s a socialist, racist, liberal liar.

  13. Robert,

Well, you brought up the the racial comment not me, I was only trying to set you straight; I didn’t want to leave you in your ignorant state of mind. When people inject racism (like Negro how ever I know you probably meant the real “N “word) into a campaign comment as you did, it’s only because you know that McCain is slipping. So you have to throw an outdated racially motivated comment. The only way you feel that you can win is by trying to scare people; the only problem is that game isn’t working.

Also, you brought up Palin’s moral compass not me. As far as the abortion issue, God did give humans free will to make their own decisions and as a result we are responsible for all of them. God will be the final judge of all our sins and all sins are created equal in God’s eyes. All sins are created equal, that even includes blatant lies.

Wow! John McCain has flip-flopped again, because the bailout wasn’t finalized, but he is going to the debates. I guess his stunt has crashed and burned. McCain is basic problem is he doesn’t think, he just reacts and that’s what gets him into big trouble.

One more thing, what did you think about Palin’s former Pastor the witch hunter, praying to keep witches and witchcraft away from her? I guess she also has some Pastor controversy, again surprise, surprise and surprise. She does have something in common with John McCain, he is also superstitious.

As a woman, I kind of feel sorry for Palin, because it must be frustrating to have to go out there and do interviews without having the proper knowledge on the issues. When she first came out she was so confident and cocky, but lately she looks like a deflated balloon, all the energy and enthusiasm sucked out of her. That’s why I felt it was a stupid idea for her to come out and attack Obama on experience when she couldn’t put her money where her mouth was on her own experience. Based on her initial personality this must be an extremely uncomfortable situation, because she is definitely used to being in control.

    Melissa

  14. @Melissa: How the hell do you know what I meant? If I wanted to say the N*** word I would It is my blog and I have the right to say whatever the hell I feel like saying….I didn’t because I don’t use that word, but it is folks like you that cause folks like me to USE that word… How about this. C.U.N.T… It’s an acronym too… It stands for Can’t Understand Normal Thinking.
    And you fit that bill.

As always Mudkitty you miss the boat. You point at a pastor of the VP candidate and superstitions, rather than admit the Anti-American rhetoric that the PRESIDENTIAL candidate you are blowing listened to for 21 years. Explain Rev Wright bitch? Try it, tell me about how he listened to that worthless piece of shit in a pulpit preaching hate and racism and didn’t agree with him? try it… it doesnt work that’s why you and your media friends don’t talk about it, you shift blame like good liberal fucknozzles do follow the lemmings idiots.

Socialism, communism and liberalism will be the end of the free world, and thanks to folks like you that cant remember the past, we will be condemned to repeat it. I will be looking for folks like you on the field of battle when the first shots are fired in our country…

  15. I used to support McCain, but he lost me when he picked Sarah Palin for VP. There are so many other more experienced and intelligent people he could have picked. It’s really a shame.

  16. @Polly Prim: Yeah Polly you were a McCain supporter LOL… That’s the Obama instructions right?
Look, Palin scares you, I understand… She is on a moral high ground you find repulsive, she believes in GOD, She doesn’t kill babies, She believes in self governing and the constitution. Sorry Polly, No whining tolerated here.

  17. Wow! The McCain campaign & the RNC spent $150,000.00 in cloths for Sarah Palin for just 2 months and they call Obama an elitist, please. :fingerwag:

  18. @Melissa: So NOW who is talking about trivial shit??? How much money is Obama spending to fly back and fourth to Hawaii???? I mean damn Melissa don’t you grow tired of being so stupid?

Up in Alaska where Sarah Palin is the most POPULAR Governor in the nation she didn’t spend a lot of money on clothes, she didn’t spend tax payer cash on makeovers…so when she hit the national stage in order to compete with your elite crowd she had to catch up….

    Your idiocy is showing again….

  19. @ Robert: So, if Sarah Palin is still the most popular governor in Alaska then why did the Anchorage Daily News endorse Obama for president? The Anchorage Daily News is Alaska’s largest newspaper and they called Palin “too risky” to be one step away from the Oval Office. “Like picking McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time,” the editors said.
The newspaper’s editorial board concluded that Obama “brings far more promise to the office. In a time of grave economic crisis, he displays thoughtful analysis, enlists wise counsel and operates with a cool, steady hand.”
The Daily News said that McCain has “stumbled and fumbled badly” in dealing with the economic crisis unfolding. “Of the two candidates, Sen. Obama better understands the mortgage meltdown’s root causes and has the judgment and intelligence to shape a solution, as well as the leadership to rally the country behind it,” the paper said.
Palin has demonstrated successes as a governor, the paper said, but Palin is not ready to step into the job of being president, should that become necessary, despite her passion, charisma and strong work ethic.
Well, I do not have any problem with Obama using the campaign plane the visit his sick grandmother.
When Palin when back to Alaska to see her son before he when off to war, they used McCain’s campaign plane. Do you think they should have taken some regular airline? I had no problem with them using the campaign plane.
Now, as far as the clothes that the RNC spent in the tune of $150,000 for Palin is outrageous. They have spent the whole time passing her off has a typical hockey mom and a financial conservative. Meanwhile, they have tried to pass Obama off has elite. I think the McCain’s are the real elite and that’s why the $150,000 was spent in just 2 months. I feel Cindy was probably involved in choosing the high end stores. I think $50,000 could have bought her clothes that would have looked the part. I’m sure they could have found a better way to use that money, such as advertising and more boots on the street.

  20. @Melissa: Ok So an editor in Chief decides to put the “Papers” Name on a candidate, and YOU decide that the 80% approval rating is false? Did ya happen to notice the editorial section of that paper? The readership? they were very unhappy about the EDITORS decision.

Um one thing your dumbass is still missing… SARAH PALIN HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN ALL OF THEM…. IF she is not ready then YOUR Obama messiah is NOT READY… so who is? You need to write in a candidate Melissa…Because your argument does not hold water if you vote for obama…hypocrite

  21. @Melissa: Oh and since you are so worried about Sarah’s clothes rather than the real issues, why not discuss some of the associates your messiah Hussein Obama has???? WHy so much hiding.. You are sucking the dick of a traitor, a socialist and liar but you worry about Sarah Palins clothes? Why don’t you KNOW anything about your Messiah’s past? WHY so secret? BECAUSE HE IS A LIAR and the media is helping him take over our country..

When the shooting starts, You better HIDE.

  22. @Robert: If she has more experience than all of them, WHY can’t she answer any questions? All the others in this campaign can. Why do people like you continue to say she has all this experience? Could it be she is just pretending to not know the answers to the questions on the issues?

On another note, she just got punked “Phony Sarkozy” phone call. The caller gave her so many clues that the call was not real; however she still did not realize it. Surprise, surprise and surprise!!!!!!!! If you don’t believe me, all you have to do is cut and paste the link below and listen to the phone call. This is the final proof as to why she is not ready to be vice president or president. Please listen to the phone call first before you responded, because I would really like your opinion.

  23. @Melissa: Um you really have to try harder, Palin and McCain don’t screen their calls for softball questions. in other words if you call Obama, you have to promise not to ask tough questions or you get blackballed.

How about the report on Sarah Palin that absolves her of any wrong doing with your “Trooper gate” just before the election? I mean you media is so fucked up they let a lie go on in order to sway the election.. Obama will probably win, so don’t be stranger, I’ll have plenty of I TOLD YOU SO MOMENTS..
