Memorial Day Post

Memorial Day Post

We in the Bushwack household remember the ultimate sacrifices made in times of war and peace by men and women of America’s armed forces. We thank the families of the fallen for their gift to our nation, and we pray for eternal peace for those that fell.

On this memorial day, give thanks that such people existed in our nation and put it all on the line to allow all of us the opportunity to be FREE!

Memorial day is a time of REMEMBRANCE, it is a time to tell the stories of the fallen to our young ones in order to keep the realities of freedom from getting liberalized away in the schools. We are the stewards of our kids and WE need to make sure they know GREAT AMERICANS gave all for us to live the way we do.

  1. God bless America and God bless our warriors — and God bless the fact that, somehow, we still manage to FIND these warriors, in a land of plenty, from the same population that wants MORE of its own Free Cheese, less work, more benefits, more comfort and a lessening of our power.

    1. Yeah Fred, I know but you and me don’t make a big enough parade…. I’ll observe remembrance on both days. If there were ever a group that deserved two days of attention it was those that perished in the pursuit of our freedom.

  2. Rode West Coast Thunder today.

Always amazing, and it appeared to host 12,000+ bikes. The ceremony at the Riverside National Cemetery was awesome but the downtown event was very small.

Hug the Mrs for me. Thanks for remembering,
