I remember a few folks who told me I was wrong in my assertion that this was a trumped up case. I believe someone may have said something, I believe one of them may have used the words “Kill Cops”…. But after seeing what’s transpired across our nation with OWS do you think this was a DELIBERATE hit on perceived RIGHTWING terrorists that don’t exist? I did then and I still do.

DETROIT — A federal judge on Tuesday gutted the government’s case against seven members of a Michigan militia, dismissing the most serious charges in an extraordinary defeat for federal authorities who insisted they had captured homegrown rural extremists poised for war.

U.S. District Judge Victoria Roberts said the members’ expressed hatred of law enforcement didn’t amount to a conspiracy to rebel against the government. The FBI had secretly planted an informant and an FBI agent inside the Hutaree militia starting in 2008 to collect hours of anti-government audio and video that became the cornerstone of the case.

“The court is aware that protected speech and mere words can be sufficient to show a conspiracy. In this case, however, they do not rise to that level,” the judge said on the second anniversary of raids and arrests that broke up the group.

Now if the only thing they had was spoken word and they were raided and summarily executed in the media, now they are CLEARED will the nation see this for what it was?

Remember the time we were in one year ago. What was going on? Oh yeah, the upcoming  midterm elections were looming, the democrats knew they were in for a shalacking and they needed something to distract us… Didn’t work then and it won’t work NOW with this Trayvon Martin bullshit.

Keep your powder dry folks, this is a BIG F##n Deal believe it or not.  A federal judge threw out a federal case put together by the Obama admins boy Eric Holder. This was a hit piece and I hope to hell the folks involved sue the hell out of the federal government for libel/slander/defamation or whatever else they can think of.

The only charges left on these folks is a few gun charges. This is likely to get the maximum allowable for whatever is left to give Holder some spin room.

One thing is for sure. If these folks DID hate cops before this ordeal, I’m pretty sure this is not going to sway them to be LEO supporters… Just sayin.

  2. That’s not the point Fred. As I stated in that post from a year ago. I felt at the time that there was more to this story than meets the eye. The fact is they have a right to be idiots just like the Black Panthers. They have the very same rights to be racist or whatever and if the Black Panthers aren’t arrested for their SPEECH, how can the Hutaree be?

    My point here is simple. Be careful of jumping to conclusions based on first media reports. Especially NOW. Especially after KNOWING the media is int he tank for the democrat party and Obama… This result is a victory for freedom regardless.

  5. So Fred, “Real” Military who have “Actually Served” Is your way of saying what? Since I didn’t serve my GUT feeling about this was some how wrong? And since “real military” men that you linked too said what you think, that’s all there is too it? Bullshit.

    You will find a ton of folks who served who thought from the start that this was a hit job. And since I was on the “Wait and see” wagon you and a few of your readers thought I was nuts. Now that the judge has ruled and the facts were missing for prosecution and I was proven correct along with MANY others who served…I’ll take it.

    And NOWHERE in my writing did I offer respect for these clowns. NOT ONE BIT. Matter of fact I questioned a few of their tactical videos and made reference to their lack of cranium capacity. BUT I didn’t jump on the GUILTY of crime wagon that many did. I have a real problem with trusting the media’s reports and every damn day I’m proven correct more often than wrong.

  7. Woody, wasn’t it the times square bomber? Or some other “ISLAMIC” terrorist action that had a lot of folks pissed off? So the Obama admin went after the real targets… CHRISTIANS (Although, these folks don’t really encompass the word) misguided on so many levels…But again. The facts say there’s not enough evidence to be convicted of the charges. Meaning the Justice dept. under ERIC HOLDER got warrants, raided them under less than steller data and held/charged them with a crime for WHAT? LESS THAN they had against the Black panthers for voter intimidation?….. NOPE this was a hit.
