So here’s my take on it. Gays are in the military NOW, and things are just fine for the most part. So why the push to allow the gays to be open about it?

Because it’s the next step, just like the entire gay agenda, it’s based on small steps to achieve a goal of open sexuality. Homosexuality is something one “FEELS” it is not what someone “IS” and that is the liberals mentality, FEELINGS….Not data, not facts just Feelings… What will happen is, the openly gay soldier will be ridiculed, bullied and or worse and that will cause more problems, law suits, PCness, and other bullshit for our military, there is a reason don’t ask don’t tell works, it  keeps the OPENLY SEXUALITY FIRST GAY from pushing his/her sexuality in front of honor, duty and country….

The pro-gay lobby loves to show an obscure scientific study that says “Gays are born that way” and since that study, it is a crime to further delve into anything that may prove it’s falsehood. No College would allow such a study at the risk of being labeled “Homophobic” and losing federal funds. Kind of similar to the global warming farce that has been forced on us at a price tag that has yet to be reached.

The Gay supporting feel good’rs are trying to tie the “Civil rights” of gay people to the Black civil rights issue. MOST free thinking people realize that is a farce.  Your sexual preference is one SMALL part of who you are, the PRO-GAY crowd wants that part to be the defining label for them and that is the real problem. IF you want to be gay, be gay.. be as gay as you want to be in your own home or with consenting adults I could care less, but if you are serving in the military, don’t ask don’t tell works and we should leave it alone.

Tea party leaders called for unity and action on Saturday, the closing day of their national convention, as rifts within the conservative movement continued to show.

Convention organizers and many participants have tried to zero in on fiscal responsibility as their hallmark issue, one they hope has the power to win elections in November. But others — including theorists who charge that President Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen — are pulling the grassroots phenomenon in a direction that might not be so politically profitable.

Joseph Farah, founder of WorldNetDaily.com, made questions over Obama’s citizenship a centerpiece of his Friday night speech in Nashville and got a standing ovation from the crowd for broaching the controversial topic.

But some convention-goers and speakers on Saturday distanced themselves from the so-called “birther” movement, saying that’s hardly a bread-and-butter tea party issue.

“There are much bigger issues out there,” said Alice Micca, a tea party activist who flew in from Dallas. “That’s just maybe window dressing.”

This is what most of the liberals are hoping for, a one or two issue division within the Tea Party movement. I read that article and all I can say is I knew it would happen. While I am absolutely sure Barack Hussein Obama is not only the “Manchurian Candidate” I also believe he was born on another shore, that being said; I also know pursuing that line of attack is a waste of effort and time. Obama is President now, so bringing up the eligibility issue does nothing for the cause of defeating the liberal policies he is pushing.

About 2 months ago I wrote in a forum I belong to, that the Immigration issue would be pushed this year in order to further divide the tea party movement. There are those in the tea party that would be supportive of the same plan McCain/Kennedy came up with in 2006-2007. And the issue will pit those that oppose amnesty in any form against the “guest worker/amnesty” crowd.  This will most surely divide the movement into two camps, and that will be unfortunate. The tea party is by it’s nature fiscal conservatives and anti-over taxation of US citizens, admirable goals and a noble effort indeed. The liberal attacks calling tea party members racists or rightwing extremists are easy to dispute, the attacks from within the party will be harder to refute.

The tea party is VERY necessary right now, and in the future. I’d hate to see one or two issues shut it down and give the idiots in DC the feeling that they can get back to business as usual…

Pelosi: Where Are the Jobs, Mr. President?

Washington, D.C. — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ announcement that 470,000 people abandoned their job searches in July and that 3.2 million private sector jobs have been lost since President Bush took office:

“The fact is that President Bush’s misguided economic policies have failed to create jobs. Since President Bush took office, the country has lost 3.2 million jobs, the worst record since President Hoover. And today we learned that in July nearly half a million people gave up looking for a job.

“Job losses are taking a real toll on the financial security of American families. While Democrats are fighting for opportunity, jobs, and economic security for working families, Republicans continue to focus on helping those who need help the least.

“According to today’s survey, while the national unemployment rate dropped slightly, it still stands at a near record high. In addition, the unemployment rate for African Americans was still over 11 percent in July, and the unemployment rate for Hispanics was 8.2 percent in July.

“It is time for President Bush and the Republicans to get to work for all Americans, not just the elite few.”

Flash FORWARD…..Crickets chirping.

10% (Give or take 1%) unemployment, Pelosi has been speaker for almost 4 years, and ever since she’s took power 6 million more Americans are UNEMPLOYED. So Nancy, where are the Jobs?

The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck
of it, I checked the hose attachments there.

They were made in USA .

Start looking.

In our current economic situation,
every little thing we buy or do
affects someone else – even their job.

My son likes Hershey’s candy.
I noticed,  though, that it is marked made in Mexico now.
I will not buy it any more.

My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico now.

I have switched to Crest.

You have to read the labels on everything..

This past weekend I was at Kroger.
I needed 60 W  light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets.

I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand
that I normally buy, was an off brand labeled,  “Everyday Value”.
I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats -
they were the same except for the price.
The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand
but the thing that surprised me the most
was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO !!!

and the Everyday Value brand was made in – get ready for this -
the USA
in a company in Cleveland , Ohio .

So throw out the myth
that you cannot find products you use every
day that are made right here.

So on to another aisle – Bounce Dryer Sheets . . .
yep, you guessed it,
Bounce costs more money and is made in China .
The Everyday Value brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA !

I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the
Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!

Lay’s stacked potato chips in a can is made in Mexico .

Good old Pringles made in USA .

My challenge to you ~~~
is to start reading the labels when you shop
For everyday things,
and see what
you can find that is made in the USA -
the job you save may be your own
or your neighbor’s!

If you accept the challenge,
please pass this on to others in your address
book so we can all start
buying American,
one light bulb at a time!

Stop buying from overseas companies!

(We should have awakened a decade ago)

Help our fellow Americans
keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the   U. S. A.

With our “Globalized” POTUS, who is far more popular in our enemies countries than he is right here at home, it’s entirely possible that his policies will kill MORE jobs this year rather than create them. The only thing we AMERICANS can do to help our fellow Americans (Until we get this asshat out of office) is to buy American made. Check the labels, spend the extra few cents if needed, the job you save could be your own.

Now that I’ve posted this, can I take credit for creating or saving jobs? Mmmm

1. YES in 2000, GWB came into office with a surplus. And since Obama didn’t seem to think it was a real big deal I’ll point out that in 2001 we had a little issue with planes hitting buildings in NY. Not just any buildings but the financial heart of the world. By far the worst economic crises EVER was averted by GWB using the same analogy Obama uses now. Oh an YEP congress was a majority Republican. Not the SUPER MAJORITY though. One more fact that is left off is NONE of the legislation passed in the time between 2001, and 2005 were totally partisan, democrats and Republicans were included in drafting legislation that gave us a robust economy during the same time frame. And I can’t think of one time that bribes were elicited to get Republicans on board with GWB’s agenda, at least to the extent of the cornhusker and LA purchases. And I also don’t think the doors were closed and locked for the opposition party during debate…But I understand the illusion Obama is under, his boy Rahm is a selective memory type dude.

2. Our economy by all accounts was in good shape UNTIL 2006 the voters decided to believe the media’s bullshit and we elected a majority DEMOCRAT congress and senate. ANY legislation passed during that time is NOT all the republicans fault…So WHO should shoulder the blame? BOTH parties, however you will not hear that from Obama. It was all the Bush admins fault. It had nothing to do with the bank regulations chaired by Barney Frank that opened up taco bell employees to the world of 500K homes…Of course not.

3. The “Join with me” Obama is only interested in help from Repubs now because he sees his poll numbers dropping with every policy he employs. He understands now that Mass. was a benchmark of what’s to come. Obama had a super majority in the senate. He should have been able to get EVERY ridiculous tax and spend policy he and his SCIU friends wanted BUT he couldn’t. He couldn’t because some of the “D’s” are actually GOOD AMERICANS. They understand the one concept Obama is missing. Spend what you take in, do not spend more than you have.

We removed the “R’s” from power in 2006, and 2008. Obama did not vote on several bills that came before him in order to be able to say he didn’t support the cause of the day. BUT his fellow Democrats that occupied seats between 2006 and now DID. Including the current speaker of the house and Senate majority leader. THEY are actually MORE responsible for our economic collapse than GWB is. In case you folks are not aware, CONGRESS is in control of the purse strings. CONGRESS is the deciding factor in our economic well being. AND IT HAS BEEN UNDER DEMOCRAT CONTROL SINCE 2007….

FACTS are a mutha aint they Obama?

This November, throw them all out! Every last one of them. Remove any incumbent that had anything to do with congress during the last 4 years. A change in management is what is required when a company ceases to be prosperous, efficient, and  manage it’s assets.  I’d say that about explains congress over the last 4 years.

This is not a REPUBLICAN vs Democrat thing. This is a Common sense vs IDIOT thing. There are at least 7 Democrats in Congress that I would have no problem voting for if they were in my district. That being said, there are ONLY about the same number of Republicans that I would gladly vote for. The rest of them seat fillers should be tried for treason!

As we watch the liar in chief present the state of the nation tomorrow night, I’d like to take this opportunity to say “YOU LIE!” It’s a preemptive strike because I’m sure that throughout his speech, there will be no less than 5 opportunities to utter Joe Wilson’s epic words. Every time Obama utters the words “Previous Administration” and ties it into his Administrations problems, look back at the votes by the DEMS in his party as well as himself that helped the previous admin put us in the shape we are in. When will Obama’s failures be Obama’s? NEVER as all good Democrats know now.

The Obama state of the union address should be renamed to Obama’s state of DENIAL address.

Just to let you guys know where I stand on this issue:
IF I were to be placed behind a weapon, with the power to take life for my nation and my brothers to the left and right. I’d love to have all the help I could get. IF that means a biblical reference on my sights or a bible in my pocket THEN THAT IS WHAT I’D HAVE!
IF I were enlisted and heard of this particular bullshit, I’d probably inscribe the butt stock with the full verse….Yeah I know I’d get in trouble but that’s how I roll….

That has led to the collapse of our economy, the appeasement for those that wish to do us harm, and our status in the world took a dive to 3rd world status in 4 short years….The last year has been by far the worst since Jimmy Carter, but the policies are about the same. Look forward to long gas lines, the dollars value at half of what it is today and some hostages being taken in some of our new friends regimes…..I really love America but THIS is not AMERICA anymore its been changed into FRANCE part 2. And it’s sickening.
