Surrender

July 6th, 2008 (4 hours ago) . by Robert

I have about had it with all the SURRENDER NOW! Talk from the liberal flip flop king.

Enough

I was listening to John (Flip Flop Kerry) talking on “Face the Nation” He was opposed by Lindsey Graham and the media bias was more than evident by the moderator, BUT Lindsey did well IMO.

John Kerry perpetrated at least six flips and three flops in the hour show, all while supporting Obama… There was no one better to represent Obama’s flip-flops on Iraq or Afghanistan because when you are accused of flipping and flopping you need the best to defend you.

IRAQ
FACT: We broke Iraq because of poor decisions in the beginning. WE did not make the right decisions in order to end this conflict quickly.
FACT: The responsible thing to do when you break something is to take ownership, and fix it, repair it or pay the owner so they can replace it.
FACT: The USA is trying to act responsible and it is evident by the lack of news coming out of Iraq…. The good news is buried in the back of papers, and is mentioned in passing by news commentators.

I AM NOT DISCUSSING THE REASONS WE ARE THERE! That is not the topic of this discussion.

The liberal mentality is on display for the world to see, and countries that oppose the U.S.A are paying close attention. WHY?

Liberals have no moral fiber, the vast majority of them do not believe in higher power so they do not believe in a consequence for their actions. MOST liberals do not have a spine, and they are very short sighted, if something happens it needs to happen QUICK because the liberal mind cannot envision the long-term result of any action. (Yes, it appears GWB and Rummy suffered from some liberal tendencies)

In world issues, the countries that oppose the USA’s freedoms and are threatened by America’s success are hoping for an Obama presidency. Obama portrays a position of weakness in the world, his words, actions and methods show that he will not only compromise on moral/human or political issues, but will actually give up our beliefs and values in order not to have a confrontation. McCain on the other hand, would not want the confrontation, would at least be negotiating from a position of strength.
Negotiating from a strong position is a much better
position than from your knees begging for a handout.

I realize Iraq is a topic of HIGHLY flammable verbal gymnastics… I really am not interested in talking about “Why we are there”, “Blood for Oil” or “Afghanistan was where we should have stayed”  I am interested in fixing what WE as a nation broke, and running away and leaving Iraq to fall into certain radical elements should not be a desired “Fix” we should even consider.

Oh and does anyone know who the first Liberal Democrat was???

It was Christopher Columbus. He left not knowing where he was going, got there not knowing where he was, Left there not knowing where he’d been, and did it all on borrowed money….(From GUNZ)

What will liberal leadership cost us?

June 28th, 2008 . by Robert

For those of you thinking a LEFTIST leading body of government will not infringe on your rights. Take a look at these too instances in California

California to drivers: Drop the cell phone, dude (bills author is Joe Simitian of Palo Alto)

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Next week California will try to wrest cell phones from the hands of drivers, telling everyone from movie starlets and dot-com millionaires to surfers and soccer moms that conversations behind the wheel must be on a headset.

Several U.S. states and some two dozen countries around the world already have restrictions on mobile phones while driving but now such a law has come to California — where the car is king and much of life is spent on the famously snarled freeways.

Then there are the ever popular Smoke bans.

Smoking Bans (Rep’s like Shay Shual-Burke)

Palm Desert smoking ban moves forward

The City Council has continued discussion of an ordinance that would allow smoking only in homes, cars and designated areas of the city.

“I want to say for the residents here that what is being proposed is a smoke-free Palm Desert,” said councilman Jim Ferguson at the June 12 meeting.

The proposed ordinance would prohibit smoking in public areas such as entrances to businesses.

Originally, the proposed changes prohibited smoking in areas that “have a common or shared air space with other enclosed areas in which smoking is prohibited.”

The proposed ordinances change current city law that allows smokers and non-smokers to use the same indoor ventilation systems as long as they are separated by a barrier.

Loma Linda Bans Smoking In Most Of Public Places

LOMA LINDA, Calif. — Smokers now have far fewer places where they can light up in Loma Linda.

Council members on Tuesday passed an anti-smoking law that prohibits tobacco use in most of the city’s public places.

The ordinance bans smoking on Loma Linda’s public streets and sidewalks, in parks, restaurants, theaters and hospitals, as well as most of the city’s motel and apartment units.

The fine for a first offense will be $100 or less.

The city council said it’s not the intent to punish smokers but to protect resident who don’t want to be exposed to second-hand smoke.

The ban takes effect immediately, KNBC’s Mary Parks reported.

Whether you smoke or use your cell phone while driving is not the point, the point is that our legislators here in California have chosen the easier paths in every instance.

Our legislators (Liberals for the most part) have decided to start with these basic infringements to set the table for others, like trans fats, or maybe BBQ’ing because of green house gasses, or removing the second amendment all together in California.

The liberal mind is a strange thing, they will go to the ends of the earth to prevent “Innocent Deaths” but they are perfectly ok with abortion and allowing pedofreaks to roam free, they will not stiffen punishments for the most violent crime but they feel morally obligated to remove things from us, that they deem bad for us… WTF?

I quit smoking over four months ago, and I don’t drive while using my cell phone very often, so these “laws” don’t really affect me, but I am reminded that if we let things go because they don’t affect you, sooner or later things that do affect you will be taken and NO one will be there for you.

Our whole nation is at risk for the removal of the rights we hold dearest in November.

That is not a blanket endorsement of McCain, truthfully I don’t know what I am going to do in November, I am going to sit on my hands until then and pray the good lord above will sort things out between now and then.

A real eye opener.

June 27th, 2008 . by Robert

About the SCOTUS decision DC v Heller

from Barking Moonbat Early Warning

“Petitioners and today’s dissenting Justices believe that it protects only the right to possess and carry a firearm in connection with militia service.”

That should send chills down your spine. Look how close we came to losing the right to bear arms. If you’re one of the many idiots who do not understand that a vote for a liberal President is a vote for judges who will destroy your rights, you need to have your face rubbed in this sentence over and over. And if you’re stupid enough to stay home as a protest or vote for Bob Barr, helping Obama get elected, you deserve to live in North Korea. All four far-left judges wanted to repeal the Second Amendment, and the only thing that saved us was the presence of that perpetual embarrassment, Kennedy.

Had Al Gore won the 2000 election, we would not have Alito or Roberts, and the individual right to bear arms would no longer exist, and every one of us would be facing the possibility of total gun confiscation, with no constitutional remedy. We would have to rely on the good judgment of our state and local governments to protect us.

Justice Stevens is 88, Ginsburg is 75, Kennedy is 72, Scalia is 72 and Breyer is 70. Souter is only 69. Remember this in November.

So, hold your nose, close your eyes, squeeze your butt cheeks nice and tight, and pull the lever for McCain. Don’t stay home as an infantile protest. Don’t waste a vote on Barr, even if he does have a few good qualities, because he stands no chance of winning. Because with McCain in office, the chance of him putting in one, two, or three proper justices is about 60%. With Obama, it’s 0%. And that’s a stone cold guarantee.

This little warning applies to all the lower Federal judges too. If for no other reason than that, we have to elect McCain and as many other Republicans representatives as possible. We have no choice really.

Well, I don’t like it at all, I think we need to send a message to the GOP I think they stuck us in the back with a pitch fork by sending fourth McCain to represent the “Rght” I find it ridiculous that he was the best they had.

McCain wasn’t the best in the field,  Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo or hell Allan Keyes would have been better, BUT the writer is correct…We are stuck and they know it, this is a zero sum game.

The older LIBERAL judges have held on this long waiting for a LIBERAL to get elected so they can retire. We are going to get the whole shaft or the or just the tip..might as well get ready for it.

A Great piece of writing

June 27th, 2008 . by Robert

While we on the right side of the aisle sometimes don’t see eye to eye on things, WE all do want what’s best for our country, it’s the left that is consumed with what’s best for themselves at a cost for our future generations.

I found something that was penned by a loyal, right thinking individual.

From Kender at Kender’s Musings

Two America’s

John Edwards was right, or at least half right, anyway.

There are two Americas fighting for dominance in this country and they aren’t the America of the wealthy and the America of the downtrodden. If the wrong America wins it will be just that and then John Edwards will look like a seer.

The first of the two Americas I speak of is Classic America, the one most folks on the Right think of when they think of America. It’s the one we are fighting so hard to keep from slipping into the dustbin of history.

It is the America of John Wayne, Audie Murphy, Frank Sinatra and countless other Real Men who knew honest work was a good thing for a man’s soul, and that accepting or relying on charity, no matter how freely given, lessened a man. Men used to do everything they could to avoid having to accept charity.

It is the America of June Cleaver and the stay at home mom, the America of women who knew their highest calling was to raise the kids and take care of the house and her husband. Generations of women just like this raised up generations of great men and women. They were the women that raised the children that went on to beat the Brits in the Revolution, save the Republic in the Civil War and beat down Hitler and Tojo in WW2. It was women such as this who raised the men that built this country into the greatest country yet seen on this little blue globe.

It is the America of the self made man and The Buck Stops Here instead of the America of begging for the governments help for each little bump and bruise and blaming everyone and everything for all of the ills that befall you in life.

Life Is Not Fair, and to steal a great quote from a famous flick, anyone that tells you differently is trying to sell you something.

Now we have another America vying to BE America and all she stands for.

This New America, or America Lite, is represented by folks such as Sean Penn, Janeane Garafalo, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and countless other empty headed cretins that push a socialist agenda on this country using false, unearned guilt.

It is an America where the government takes care of all your needs, instead of you taking care of yourself.

It is an America where the Government controls your access to healthcare, instead of you deciding which healthcare you wish to buy, or if at all.

It is an America where the government regulates everything: the emissions from your car, what kind of paint a store can sell and how you must act as an adult by forcing you to wear helmets and seat belts.

There once was a time when this country was filled with citizens who understood that you reap what you sow, you get what you earn, good or bad, that actions had consequences and you paid the price for them either way.

Die in a motorcycle accident from not wearing a helmet?

Sorry you’re dead, but dude, you asked for it.

End up crippled because of that accident? It’s the responsibility of you and your family to take care of you, not the government’s (i.e. everybody else)

As a result of this, people acted more responsibly, because they knew there were consequences to be paid for their actions.

Get a girl pregnant? You will suddenly find yourself with a wife. Not to mention in-laws who probably don’t think much of you and probably won’t for many years but you took responsibility for your actions and stuck it out and you raised your children into good citizens because that’s what was expected of you.

In America Lite dads leave without a second thought. This situation has gotten so bad that deadbeat dad laws will utterly destroy a man’s life if his children’s mother decides to go the easy route and take welfare and he doesn’t take responsibility by paying for his progeny.

Once upon a time in this country men did the right thing because it was the right thing to do, not because the law threatened to destroy their ability to make a living.

Now, when something bad happens to somebody the questions immediately fly about “Why wasn’t something done to avoid this?” and “Where was the government?” when the questions that should be asked are “What can I do to help this poor soul?” and “What was that person thinking?” and maybe even “Did you see what happened to that dumbass? He sure got what he had coming, huh?”

The America I know and love, the America whose return MUST occur, is in a pitched battle with the America Lite, which is a country that sports the Stars and Stripes but whose Faith, Patriotism and Freedom rings hollow to this mans ears. America Lite chooses instead a socialist path that steals Liberty and crushes the greatness of the Human Spirit, making away with the Rights granted by our Creator like a thief in the night. The end result of this vileness is a population who are simply wards of the state, children to be taken care of at each turn, from cradle to grave.

The America I know and love, Classic America, the America where a man is known for his actions, where he takes pride in his work and his word, where he chooses the most menial work if that’s all that is there instead of demanding to be taken care of by his fellow man by threat of government force is slowly dying off. As each succeeding generation is brought up in a school system that teaches them a test, skims the great history of this country and pounds guilt for being a citizen of the best country ever into their little mush filled skulls, we get people so empty headed as to follow the most inexperienced, liberal, anti-American person to ever run for the White House on a major party ticket as if he is the second coming of the Christ.

Is there hope?

Maybe.

If that American Spirit can be brought back to full bloom, If people once again are taught that having pride in themselves and taking responsibility for their lives is the way to success in life. If people are once again taught that success is not measured by how large a house one has, or how expensive your car or clothes are, but rather how you live your life and how you treat other people.

The theft of my liberty for your comfort, no matter how necessary that comfort may be, is still the theft of my liberty. Three generations of Americans don’t seem to understand that, and they demand that our government do more for them, never realizing that with each thing the government does, someone’s liberty has been stolen in their name and vice versa.

These are the Two Americas.

In November you get to choose which America you want to have. Classic America, the America that Saved the World (twice at least) and is mostly responsible for the current amenities and freedoms the world enjoys or America Lite, a pale and ugly shadow that is bound to failure and the destruction of True Freedom and the Greatness of Man.

It is that simple.

Choose wisely, my friends. If you remember the scene in Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail where the American chose the wrong Grail and instantly withered away to dust, then you get an idea of what will happen if you choose poorly.

We are that man, and we are standing in front of two cups, but only one can bring us back to the greatness we once knew, the Freedom we once would fight to defend, the Pride in simply BEING an AMERICAN. The other will certainly cause us to whither away to dust.

As I said, choose wisely.

Now, that my friends is the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

I’m voting Democrat!

June 27th, 2008 . by Robert

By Ben Shapiro, in response to the “I’m Voting Republican” video.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that the best strategy in war is defeat. It broadens the mind to learn Japanese, German and Arabic. Talk about multiculturalism!

I’m voting Democrat because I’m mad that George W. Bush hasn’t caught Bin Laden. That’s because Bin Laden is the only Islamic terrorist in the world.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that if I don’t have enough money, the solution is for the government to take more of my money. Who needs money when gas is $5 per gallon?

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that the ideal family is two homosexual bonobos, a goat and a parrot raising a human baby. Love and compassion is all it takes to make a successful family!

I’m voting Democrat because it’s my body, and if I want to kill my baby, I’ll do it, even if its head is in the birth canal. If I want to cut out my intestines and feed them to the crocodiles, I’ll do that too. That’s the freedom our forefathers enshrined in the Constitution.

I’m voting Democrat because our enemies on the battlefield deserve comfy hotel rooms, Pay-Per-View, prostitutes and all the benefits of American citizenship.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe we need other countries’ permission for me to turn down my thermostat.

I’m voting Democrat because I care about the real victims of crime — criminals.

I’m voting Democrat because the real cure for racism includes preferential policies based on race — particularly in presidential voting. If you believe that a black candidate ought to be qualified, as well as black, you’re worse than Bull Conner.

I’m voting Democrat because everyone deserves crappy healthcare. Sure, you’ll have to wait years for that life-saving cancer surgery. But it’s first come, first served at the cemetery!

I’m voting Democrat because I believe in minority rights (except in Muslim countries), free speech (with regard to pornography but not conservative talk radio), environmentalism (unless we’re talking about Al Gore’s house) and diplomacy (but never backed by the threat of military force).

I’m voting Democrat because I like the words “hope” and “change.” Also “kazoo.” That’s a funny word.

I’m voting Democrat because I believe that America’s founders were rich, white, greedy xenophobes, and that America’s founding principles are hogwash requiring periodic editing from an unelected group of liberal judges.

Most of all, I’m voting Democrat because I like the ideas they have over in France, but I don’t feel like moving there. I’ll threaten to move, but I really won’t. After all, I have a good job, healthcare, lower taxes, free speech and a social framework that promotes family structure. And all of it is defended by the most effective fighting force on the planet.

If only the institution of far-left values resulted in a great country. Oh, well. That won’t stop me from voting Democrat, though. After all, I’m voting Democrat because thought isn’t one of my strong suits.

I’d like to add two more:

I am voting Democrat because I feel the government can protect my family and I with a phone call better than I can protect them with a shotgun….

I am voting Democrat because I believe all criminals deserve to be released after a year or two, no matter what the crime, Murderer’s,Rapists, and child molesters are people too and we should not oppress their desires.

Add your own, WHY ARE WE VOTING DEMORAT?
