White House, nonprofit groups battle over charitable deductions

The White House and the nation’s most prominent charities are embroiled in a tense, behind-the-scenes debate over President Obama’s push to scale back the nearly century-old tax deduction on donations that the charities say is crucial for their financial health.

So exactly who keep charities running? The government? No its those evil rich folks who share their good fortunes with those charities THEY WANT TO HELP. The government takes money from ALL of us to help those charities that fit their political leanings.

What do you think will happen when Obama’s tax increase hits the Rich? The charities rich people donate to will see a decrease in their donations. IF Obama reduces the deduction write off, the rich will reduce their donations to charity. But that’s okay right? It’s only rich peoples charities…

Here’s where the rubber meets the road. IF you are in that 2% who make over 250k a year and you donated to charity. STOP donating the minute your taxes are raised. IF you donate to anyone, donate to your faith based organization. That will come back to you ten fold. From the time this bill is signed until such time as Americans wake up, your money is your best weapon. Don’t buy anything other than your basic needs. No new cars, no new boats, don’t buy anything made in AMERICA. Stop all purchasing in this nation. You have been demonized for your success, you have given and they are demanding, not asking for more. Let them raise your taxes and you in turn show your worth by investing in OTHER NATIONS economy.

I make less than 100k a year so I’m supposed to benefit from this tax the rich policy right? I DON’T WANT IT. I am looking for the union label from here on out to find out what NOT TO BUY!. I’m witholding all my charity donations except to my church. I’m not giving one red dime to charities until Obama is gone. I have given THOUSANDS every year to united way/red cross and a few others. NO MORE. Let the government do it now.

Feinstein commissioned report on housing Gitmo detainees in US

The Democratic chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence committee has commissioned a federal report to identify prison facilities in the U.S. that are suitable for housing Guantanamo detainees, a document exclusively reviewed by Fox News shows.
In the internal document, the Government Accountability Office refers to “Source of Work: Ms. Dianne Feinstein, Chair, Select Committee on Intelligence, U.S. Senate” and lists the “Gist of Work” as an investigation into whether domestic facilities could house the approximately 170 detainees remaining at the controversial facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Basically this should be a no brainer for Democrats. Release all of them in California. They will have kids when their not trying to blow shit up. Those kids will grow to hate America and vote Democrat… The cycle continues and the elites can keep their castles…

Tired of fighting, close it let them all out, let them walk free in CA or NY. Give them retribution, welfare, free education etc… Hell, give them a car and cable TV.. Time to hasten the destruction of our nation. No more prolonging it, just let die. Then the few left might be close enough to realize why it died and start anew.

So it looks like the evil police are busting heads in LA… Yeah I wish.

Let’s look at this from a political lens. The mayor of LA is a liberal. One of the most liberal in the history of LA. He’s a “Hispanic” who puts his “Hispanicness” at the forefront of every discussion with “La Raza” who backs him.

We have a bunch of LIBERALS “Protesting” for MORE Government. That’s all this is. This is a movement that demands WE INCREASE GOVERNMENTS SIZE, TAXES and PAY FOR THEM TO DO WHATEVER.. That’s it in a nut shell.

We have liberals in charge of controlling liberals? Yeah good plan. So Antonio V. has some options… What the odds he’ll order a clear out? Zippo. Nada. Nilch. UNLESS he can blame it on someone else.

Now there’s a lot of good cops in LA. Those cops are placed in the street to appear threatening. Since MIDNIGHT, they have been there telling them to move out of the park. It’s 0530 in LA and now, the cops are letting the people stay in the park. All they are doing is arresting the outlying idiots for being in the street.

So what have the LA City council and Mayor done? They have used the cops to get good publicity for the occupiers… They are giving into the demands of idiots to go out of their way to allow this crap.

To understand the politics of this: Think of Barney Frank as chief moral officer for San Francisco’s gay parade.

The LAPD should have a giant sick out. Think about this. Look at your TV, count the COPS there. Realize LA is one of the most violent cities in America. Oh and CA has some really great gun laws… Yeah I wonder how many crimes are occurring right now because of these losers????

That’s okay because the Occupy Protesters have something to say.. Socialists, Communists, Marxists, Idiots… Kill em all and save 6 as far as I’m concerned.

This is a lesson in appeasement if folks would like to listen. The Mayor and the Chief have done everything they can to have a peaceful outcome. It’s not going to happen when you’re dealing with people who must be VICTIMS to get their message across.

The video this was taken from has gone viral, it’s got everything in it. Whining, screaming, victimhood, racism (Only white folks there) police action, hippies and chanting…BUT, the video that has everyone all turned sideways leaves out some vital information…Shocked are you? Yeah not me either.

Fast forward to around 4 min. if you don’t really care to hear the “F-the Police” chants..

Charles J. Kelly, a former Baltimore Police Department lieutenant who wrote the department’s use of force guidelines, said pepper spray is a “compliance tool” that can be used on subjects who do not resist, and is preferable to simply lifting protesters.

“When you start picking up human bodies, you risk hurting them,” Kelly said. “Bodies don’t have handles on them.”

After reviewing the video, Kelly said he observed at least two cases of “active resistance” from protesters. In one instance, a woman pulls her arm back from an officer. In the second instance, a protester curls into a ball. Each of those actions could have warranted more force, including baton strikes and pressure-point techniques.

“What I’m looking at is fairly standard police procedure,” Kelly said.

So with this new information will you or won’t you agree that the UC Davis PD acted appropriately? I’m sure 99% of the readers here will agree, and 98.5% of those will say if the cops used their batons, flashlights and boots it would have made for a better video… I’m the 98.5%

Hippie idiots deserved the pepper spray, spoiled little rich pricks trying to claim “Victimhood” the morons on the “Quad” have never had it tough. You want tough? Put their ass in Iraq, Darfur, Hell, put them in Mexico and see how tough it is without daddy’s dough… Some folks just need killin I reckon.

Let me be perfectly clear. Protesting what you feel is wrong is perfectly acceptable to me. I admire the courage it takes to go out and stand for something. I’ve done it. My best friends have done it. The tea party was a great movement and we have a great start on change. The OWS movement had some valid arguments. However; their targets are wrong. These folks on the video are exactly the reason the tea party was formed. WE the People are NOT those people.

Are you ready for war? It’s coming. This country is divided. This country is about to go through a generational shift of ideals. This country is about to fall into full blown civil war because of ONE MAN. Obama’s policies have failed miserably. And that was the only hope the left had. They put all their eggs in Obama’s basket and he dropped it. NOW we’re seeing what happens when liberal policies fail to produce the utopian dream. Temper tantrum.

We’ve had 2 months of this crap. People are waking up.

I’m hoping business leaders in areas that these protests are occurring close their shops. IF the leadership in your city/town allowed this to go unabated. YOU SHOULD CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS and take your business elsewhere. Especially the banks. Remove all ATM’s, remove ALL bank branches, remove all foot prints of banks in Oakland. That should make for some really fun times out there….

My wife and I were driving down from the mountains this afternoon and we were listening to Michael Medved (Talk radio KFI 640) He had the author of the book “Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything” on the show…

I started to turn the station when I realized Mr Medved was toying with him and opened it up for callers.I was glad to hear some really good folks abused this tool. The host just played like he was a fair and balanced reporter for the MSM…

Without further ado let me introduce the book:

And now, having had him as president for more than two years, we can say without reservation that he has delivered all his promises and more and is the best president this country — or any country — has ever had or could even imagine to have.

Now my wife was in the car so I couldn’t call in and abuse the author of this kindling. This book is full of falsehoods and it’s a direct result of the brainwashing that’s occurring through the state media.

BUT I guess that was the point. The Author is the owner of the blog IMAO it’s all about humor and I didn’t get it (I thought it was pretty ridiculous that anyone worshiped O like that, but hey, we got Ron Paul fans) I thought it was a serious book, evidently it’s a sarcastic look at the rise of “Duh WON”…. Well you got me Mr Flemming. Carry on.

Most of us realize our Government IS the problem we face today. We are being ruled by morons who are “Acting” like they care about the nation and it’s citizens yet pass the dumbest laws, institute the most ignorant regulations and turn blind eye’s to injustice from the laws/regs they created.

Today however, U.S. government, our education system and parts of corporate America are utilizing more ‘advanced’ strategies, such as:

1. Buy a stronger whip.

2. Change riders.

3. Appoint a committee to study the horse.

4. Arrange to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

5. Lower the standards so that dead horses can be included.

6. Reclassify the dead horse as ‘living-impaired’.

7. Hire outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

8. Harness several dead horses together to increase speed.

9. Provide additional funding and/or training to increase the performance of dead horses.

10. Do a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse’s performance.

11. Declare that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.

12. Rewrite the expected performance requirements for all horses.

13. Promote the dead horse to a supervisory position.

 

Unfortunately this is all too accurate in today’s Government. And we wonder why we are where we are. I’m not wondering at all. I know exactly WHY we are screwed I also know how to fix it. Most of us know. The only difference is how long it’s going to take and what paths we take before we get to it.
