1. Am I more free than I was 5 years ago?

2. Are my employment opportunities better than they were 5 years ago?

3. Are my taxes higher than they were 5 years ago?

4. Do I think the  Government can run the health care industry better than the Private sector?

5. Is the United States better off on the world stage than it was 5 years ago?

6. Is the bailouts of banks and the takeover of GM the way I want the Government to interact with the capitalist ideals these United States were founded on?

7. Do I trust the congress as is to be transparent?

8. Do I believe card check is good for the nation and good for business as it pertains to employment?

9. Do I believe cap and trade should be law?

10. Do I believe the sitting president should have the right to shut down free speech, the internet, or any media outlet for any reason?

These questions should be a good guide in your vote. IF you believe the answer is yes to those questions you should vote Democrat. IF you answered NO to them, you need to vote Republican. And right now it doesn’t matter WHO the Republican is.

I’m having a tough time after the primaries finding one R that is worse than the D in the race. The lesser of 2 evils argument is valid in a lot of areas, however; right now we need R’s in seats to stall the liberal agenda. IF we fail to elect the “R” because he/she is not the ideal candidate in 2010, we can count on the liberal/progressive agenda to continue unabated.

There are some less than ideal Republicans in the field GRANTED. BUT the fact is NONE of them are FOR the liberal issues that are on the table. Which means they will be valuable in our effort to stop Obama from ruining our country (Any further)

Vote the R and then campaign to remove them if they stray! Give them a shot to make good on their “Pledge” and if they fail.. register at the daily Ko’s because there will only be one party left….

Watching the Sunday morning talk shows, the one thing that bugs me more than any other is the lack of answers to questions. Both parties, both ideologies in the running for election refuse to answer questions. They dance around the issues, they deflect the questions, they point fingers, they flat out make up stuff to avoid answering…WHY?

I don’t think it’s the questions themselves, I think it’s the opponents use of their answers that cause them to be so vague.

Carly Fiorina was asked by Chris Wallace “What specific cuts to the entitlements would you make” Mrs Fiorina danced around that question like a professional ball room dancer…And I fully understand why she did. She’s running in a state that is flush with entitlements. We in California want that to stop, we want the welfare for life program to stop, we want the illegal’s cut off, we want the state unions to pay their share and quit soaking the tax payers. We would like a lot of entitlements CUT OUT. But could she say that? Hell no, she would go from a tie with Boxer to  30 points behind in the race.

If she would have answered that question I’d have become a die hard Fiorina supporter, I’d have placed signs in my yard, bumper stickers on my car and hell maybe tattoo’d her name on my forehead. And probably 30% of this state would have done the same. BUT: We would be stuck with Boxer on Nov 3rd though.

And that’s a damn shame in its own right.

Democrats are no better, every democrat that appeared on any show this morning failed to answer any question without blaming the republicans for something in their answer. I didn’t hear ONE, not ONE of them admit their failures, instead we were subjected to blame, name calling and flat out lies or spin.

Eventually, and it may be very soon, we will get some straight talking politicians. Until that point, we are stuck with politics as usual. The tea party candidates are a breath of fresh air though for the most part.

Note to Politicians: Start answering the questions. Start with TRUTH, start with the VALUES you hold dear and answer truthfully your opinions. We can handle it. IF you lose because of it, then you lost nothing. You stood and you tried, it’s the American people that lost.

Seriously:

If a Democrat comes on a talk show and gets this question: “Are you a Marxist?” and he answers “Why yes, I believe Marxism best defines my views on how we need to run our nation”

I may vote for him just because at least he’s telling the truth.

Don’t be shocked!

If a Republican came out and said “They wanted to raise the retirement age to 85, cut social security, and send every senior to an Island off the coast of Africa”

I’d vote for them too…

What I’m saying is I’m damn tired of guessing how a person is going to do their job if elected. The past is a good indicator for an incumbent, but for a new candidate it’s not a good measuring stick. Answer the questions better than you have been and do it without pandering. It shouldn’t be that hard.

I’ve always been a fan of Hank, and by GAWD he nailed it here. There are a lot of us out here that have been working for MANY MANY years, paying taxes and fighting for our American way of life. The life that is afforded by the sweat of our brow.

You maybe a business owner, a CEO, a Manager, a trade expert, or a grunt on the line. IF you have worked by the rules and lived by the code of an “Honest days work for an Honest days pay” This song hits home.

Many of us folks are now out of work, many of us find ourselves at the mercy of the Government. Many of us want jobs, many of us want to be self sufficient. Unfortunately many of us became complacent and thought things were bad before….We got a wake up call in 2007.

Companies create jobs, individuals willing to risk all to be successful and wealthy create jobs. They are not the evil ones (Mostly) Unfortunately until the Government quits painting the “Rich and Wealthy” as the bad guy. I fear jobs will be few and far between. We have taken the incentive away from those with the means to create, and given the incentive to those that take and sponge. Wrong on so many levels, but it’s the new Democrat way.

For those of you unemployed after years of work, I feel sorry for your plight. For those of you that voted Democrat and are unemployed. I say, you got what you asked for.

Since I am living here in “Peoples Republic of California” I must temper my words a bit because it could become a self fulfilling prophecy…

I say let Jerry Brown win, give him the keys back to the car he wrecked so many years ago. Let this “Moonbeam” run the state like he did Oakland. You know Oakland right? The city in California that has the highest crime rates, and lowest education scores in the state…

I think it’s time to write this state off as a total loss. The only worth this state has left is an example. California can be the shining example of why socialism fails. Evidently these elitists on the left have rewritten history so much that the other examples were overlooked.

California needs strong leadership and a legislature that has the best interest of the state and country at heart. NOT the special interests that are funding them. Jerry Brown is a union puppet. FACT. Meg is a corporate puppet. FACT.

So who is better for the state?

California has the second highest unemployment rate in the nation. Brown will make sure that the rate stays unchanged or gets worse. Meg will try and make this state a bussinees friendly state. Meg Whitman has been on record saying she will not raise taxes and actually reduce business taxes in this state. That will be a welcomed move to businesses. Jerry Brown is in the pockets of Unions, Unions don’t hire people. Corporations do. Companies DO, Businesses DO. Union costs and union rules make businesses look elsewhere to hire people. Unions are not evil, they are out to get what they can get. The American way. Unfortunately they have a reputation of not bending when times are tough and costing jobs in the long run.

Those are simple facts. All the other bullshit about illegal immigration, abortion and the environment is just that BULLSHIT!(As far as this state goes, We are too far gone in this state to try and fix illegal immigration, we are just Northern Mexico now)

We need jobs here in this state, Jobs put money INTO the state which fund all the liberal/progressive entitlement programs that Brown wants. Simple solution: Let them share the job.

I’m voting for Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina and Ken Calvert in my district. Straight Republican party line across the board. NOT that they are going to do anything to save this state but because they are all far better than their opponents. Lesser of two evils again but here it’s normal. Not voting is not an option and writing in a name defeats the purpose. Fiorina is actually the only one I feel will do a better job than who she’d replace. Calvert has done a few things recently that makes me “OKAY” about voting for him and his opponent is a loony full tilt progressive moonbat…NO OPTIONS.

Meg is using her own money to win the election which to me says: She will owe nobody anything. Brown is getting help from Obama, Pelosi, the DNC, every union in the country and probably Mexico. So who will owe who what?

With that being said:
Go ahead idiots in California, elect Brown to the Governor seat. I’m actually hoping he wins. This state deserves an idiot in charge forever, that’s what we’ve had here since Ronald Reagan. The idiots in this state would not know how to act if they had true leadership, they would simply implode.

As far as I’m concerned this state has one chance to overcome the disaster that has fell on California since Brown first held office. That chance is NOT November 2nd. It’s a massive meteor directly hitting Sacramento while the legislature is in session.  Meg Whitman alone can’t solve this mess, it will take a fully remade legislative body in Sacramento and since that’s not happening in November, I offer one solution:

Will the last family out of California please turn out the lights.

Well, let there be HOPE for CHANGE!

The last couple debates have shown exactly how weak the Democrats are, as well as how strong our tea party candidates are. The reason is simple. A 5 yr old kid that has been raised as an American and has those values instilled in them, would appear stronger than this democrat field. WHY?


Because for the first time in modern history, the party with the super majority can not run on what they’ve done. They can not tout their accomplishments because everything they have done is a disaster. The only hope they have is their opponent has mercy on them and doesn’t call them on it. NOT HAPPENING!

Sharon Angle sighted in and unloaded on the idiot Senate leader. Right now I picture Harry in his large home on the floor in a fetal position. Well Done Mrs Angle.

Christine O’Donnell is gaining ground after her debate, and if she can shut up about her youthful commentary and stick to the issues, she just might catch that marxist SOB she’s running against.

We can hope, we can PRAY for an O’Donnell victory. I know I’m sending a few bucks her way just because THIS race, more than any other would be a NAIL in the coffin for Demonrats. As much scrutiny as O’Donnell has had to endure, if she won that seat the shockwaves would knock the earth off kilter.

Keep Fighting Y’all the fight is just beginning.

On November 2nd we vote, on November 3rd we celebrate, on November 4th we get back to work and hold every politician still standing accountable for their words and they better show some action. IF not, OUT THEY GO TOO! Party be damned.

So, what do businesses do when a state becomes so anti-business that businesses can’t make money? Well, they leave. Where do they go? Anywhere that treats them better. The question then becomes; What do businesses do when a COUNTRY becomes anti-business?

‘Leaving Cal.’ list grows to 144 firms

Irvine consultant Joe Vranich, who has been compiling a list of companies leaving California because of the state’s anti-business environment, is now up to 144 companies that have departed in 2010, including 34 in Orange County.

In addition, he lists 51 companies (8 from Orange County) that left in 2009. That three-fold increase, Vranich says, is the tip of the iceberg that is California’s financial woes.

“Quite clearly, the exodus of businesses out of California continues. It makes sense for companies to reduce their California footprint considering the ample supply of attractive, lower-cost alternative locations. Unless California reduces its hostility toward business, we will see more commercial enterprises seeking friendlier locations in which to relocate entirely or at least place facilities there that used to be located here.”

Among the Orange County companies new to his list are Boeing, Kennametal Inc., Latex International, Multi-Fineline Elextronix Inc., NGK Spark Plug Co.,  Smith Micro Software Inc. and Witt Heat Transfer Products Group, most of which have been previously reported by the Register. Vranich says Orange County may be over-represented on his list because news reports are one source of his information and the Register reports business comings and goings more than some publications.

So what will California’s counterparts at the federal level do?

Well since businesses are leaving California for better environments for business, the federal Government will stop it by making ALL states anti-business, there-by giving businesses no where else to go.. See how simple solutions are?

This is what is happening to our country. It’s not rocket science folks. Businesses don’t hire more people because the taxes coming down the pike are going to impact profits, profits are what businesses are looking for. One less employee keeps that salary in the shareholders/owners pocket and that’s what makes the country work. Profits and loss, risk and reward, return on investment.

Moving to another state with a more friendly business environment makes good business sense. IF there is no change to our current ruling body, you will be seeing the massive exodus of a lot of businesses from the COUNTRY. ObamaCare put a knife in the backs of all the working class Americans. The sad part is the unions can’t see they are voting for their own demise.
