In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise.  In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats.  The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party.

In one year Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the house, if not the senate back to the Republicans.

‘White Right’ Wants Obama to Be One-Term President, Farrakhan Says

CHICAGO — Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan, boasting his divine stature, on Sunday predicted trouble ahead for President Barack Obama and urged him to do more to improve the lives of blacks and the downtrodden.

The 76-year-old leader said the “white right” was conspiring to make Obama a one-term president, and pointed to his stalled efforts to introduce health care legislation as proof. He said those opponents and lobbyists were trapping him into a future war with Iran that could lead to mass destruction.

“The word ‘prophet’ is too cheap a word. I am a light in the midst of darkness,” Farrakhan said at the annual convention of the movement that embraces black nationalism. “It ain’t ego, it’s my love for you.”

An estimated 20,000 people attended the heavily guarded Saviours’ Day event at the United Center in Chicago. Followers — men dressed in navy uniforms and women in white skirt suits with matching hijabs — cheered on Farrakhan with shouts of “Allahu Akbar,” Arabic for “God is great.”

Last night Glenn Beck talked about the communist party and Van Jones, he had some speaker on that was a member of the communist party. One of the parts of his speech was called “Marching orders” to the faithful. Holder admits nine Obama Dept. of Justice officials worked for terrorist detainees, offers no details

Attorney General Eric Holder says nine Obama appointees in the Justice Department have represented or advocated for terrorist detainees before joining the Justice Department. But he does not reveal any names beyond the two officials whose work has already been publicly reported. And all the lawyers, according to Holder, are eligible to work on general detainee matters, even if there are specific parts of some cases they cannot be involved in.

Holder’s admission comes in the form of an answer to a question posed last November by Republican Sen. Charles Grassley. Noting that one Obama appointee, Principal Deputy Solicitor General Neal Katyal, formerly represented Osama bin Laden’s driver, and another appointee, Jennifer Daskal, previously advocated for detainees at Human Rights Watch, Grassley asked Holder to give the Senate Judiciary Committee “the names of political appointees in your department who represent detainees or who work for organizations advocating on their behalf…the cases or projects that these appointees work with respect to detainee prior to joining the Justice Department…and the cases or projects relating to detainees that have worked on since joining the Justice Department.”

In his response, Holder has given Grassley almost nothing. He says nine Obama political appointees at the Justice Department have advocated on behalf of detainees, but did not identify any of the nine other than the two, Katyal and Daskal, whose names Grassley already knew. “To the best of our knowledge,” Holder writes,

Evidently the transparency part of Obama’s campaign only includes items that can be firmly or loosely placed in GWB’s lap for blame. Obama will be transparent when it suits the liberal agenda but not when it suits the American people. I am always being asked to grade Obama’s presidency. In place of offering him a grade, I put together a list of his accomplishments thus far. I think you would agree that it is very impressive. His first six months have been even more active than FDRs or LBJs the two standards for such assessments. Yet, there is little media attention given to much of what he has done. Of late, the media is focusing almost exclusively on Obama’s critics, without holding them responsible for the uncivil, unconstructive tone of their disagreements or without holding the previous administration responsible for getting us in such a deep hole. 7. Ended media blackout on covering the return of fallen soldiers to Dover AFB; the media is now permitted to do so pending adherence to respectful rules and approval of fallen soldier’s family (See #5, same applies, no media coverage since the wars have started for the most part, but if GW was still in office we would be swamped with coverage in the media)

8. The White House and federal government are respecting the Freedom of Information Act (Uh Yeah, exactly what differences have you seen?)

9. Instructed all federal agencies to promote openness and transparency as much as possible, (The key words are “As much as possible” and I guess the health care debate, and cap and tax were not possible) LMAO

10. Limits on lobbyist’s access to the White House ( Yeah, limits which mean unless you are FOR socialism, UNIONS and Black Causes, you can not go)

11. Limits on White House aides working for lobbyists after their tenure in the administration (see above)

12. Ended the previous stop-loss policy that kept soldiers in Iraq/Afghanistan longer than their enlistment date (Ok, then he sent 20k more troops to fight since he pretty much forgot about it for the st 6 months of his agenda pushing)

13. Phasing out the expensive F-22 war plane and other outdated weapons systems, which weren’t even used or needed in Iraq/Afghanistan (The future will dictate if this was wise, Clinton made it illegal for soldiers to carry firearms on base. We see how Ft Hood worked out)

14. Removed restrictions on embryonic stem-cell research (Not good, but yeah he did do it, just like GWB stopped it in his first couple of days)

15. Federal support for stem-cell and new biomedical research (yep he did it, just like GWB undid it in his first couple of days)

16. New federal funding for science and research labs (Key word is FEDERAL funding, which continues to raise our debt, see wasteful spending that he was supposed to curtail)

25. The public can meet with federal housing insurers to refinance (the new plan can be completed in one day) a mortgage if they are having trouble paying (Always could meet, this is bullshit straight up but the author needs something I’m sure..)

Joe Biden Update: Iraq is Obama’s Greatest achievement

Many Americans recall the ex-Sen. Biden’s Democratic primary plans to give in to Iraq’s fractious factions and carve the country into three territories. And even more probably recall Biden’s boss’ plan to halt the Iraq war years ago. As long as it got started anyway without the permission of the then state senator.

Plus, of course, the vehement opposition of the Nobel Prize winner to the 2007 American troop surge of you-know-who from Texas that Obama knew for certain was only going to worsen sectarian strife there. (See 2007 video here.)….

Well, of course, it didn’t turn out that way, thanks in large measure to the brave service of hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops who served in that war-torn land and helped peace to break out despite the loud political acrimony back home over their role.

Now, the Obama-Biden pair that opposed the Iraq war and its tactics and predicted their failure is prepared to accept credit for its success.

Regardless of how you feel about the Iraq war, these two asshats had nothing to do with it’s so-called success. IF America’s fighting force is removed and Iraq falls into total chaos (Worse than it is now) THEN yes Biden and Obama can claim credit for it. IF We leave and everything is fine and a new democracy is formed in the heart of the middle east. The credit for it’s success rests with GWB and his admin. The only thing Obama and Biden did was provide additional hope for the enemies of freedom and the terrorist network that had developed in Iraq after the war began. The liberals are again on the wrong side of history and thanks to modern technology, their LIES are captured and their actions are widely known.

Obama is now in charge of the most awesome war fighting machine in the world and I for one am scared shitless because his actions to this point have been 100% bass akwards… Try again Obama and Biden, look for another “Success”….
