IF our mission in 2010 was to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions. Then Allen West just became a target. We must not allow ANY of our elected officials think we will carry their water when they falter on their mission. You were sent to do a job, do it. You were sent to stand on principle, DO IT. IF you believe a bill is good/bad vote that way. It doesn’t matter if it will pass the senate or not. Mr West has thrown a big monkey wrench in his political career because of this action:

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), who has emerged as an outspoken conservative voice among GOP freshmen, cast a surprising vote last week against a bill to scrap part of the 2010 healthcare overhaul. The legislation would repeal $100 million in funding for the construction of school-based health centers. West was one of just four Republicans to vote against the measure, which passed 235-191.

West spokeswoman Angela Sachitano said in an email that the congressman “believes there are bigger funding issues to be focusing on right now including the numerous developments in the Middle East, concerning Pakistan and whether there is a link to [Osama bin Laden] and the recent unity agreement with the [Palestinian Authority] and Fatah and Hamas.”

He also questioned the House’s continued efforts to dismantle the healthcare law on a piecemeal basis, she said.

“He voted to repeal Obamacare, and it was dead on arrival in the Senate,” Sachitano said. “He questions what the goal is of chipping away like this if it’s almost certain that the Senate is not going to take it up.”

Mr West, you were elected to the HOUSE, the HOUSE is where bills originate for OUR National interest. You can’t worry more about Israel, and foreign affairs than you do our nation. You are NOT POTUS yet (Or ever) with this kind of action on your record. You need to stand your ground, it’s not your worry if it will pass the senate or not. Let them defend their action, you defend yours. Your action on this issue can not be defended by “Integrity, honor or Patriotism” it is a sell out of the highest order. I will not quit supporting you over this one issue. But you have took ONE strike that you didn’t have to take.

Don’t go down this path Mr West, you will be unemployed if you do.

CNN Poll: Still no front-runner in the battle for the GOP nomination

Greenville, South Carolina (CNN) – A new national poll indicates the race for the Republican presidential nomination remains wide-open, with none of the probable or potential GOP White House contenders above 20 percent, according to a new national poll.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey’s Thursday release comes hours before the first Republican presidential debate of the 2012 election cycle. The debate is being held in South Carolina, which holds the first southern primary on the road to the White House.

The poll also indicates President Barack Obama is ahead of all probable and possible GOP candidates tested in hypothetical general election matchups, but the person who comes closest to Obama may surprise you.

Okay here’s my two cents on Ron Paul.  And I will say this as clearly as possible for all to understand.

Ron Paul can’t win. Ron Paul is NOT the President our nation needs. Ron Paul IS NOT the man to beat Barack Obama and if he did WE WOULDN’T BE ANY BETTER OFF!

Now, before you ronulans get your panties all shoved up in your wetness, let me explain AGAIN since I did it in 08 too.

Ron Paul has some valid points in SOME areas. He is DEAD WRONG in others and has refused to alter any of those beliefs over the years. He complains about “Pork” then adds “Pork” on bills he’s sure that will pass without his vote. That’s not INTEGRITY, that’s a politician. His stance on foreign policy is DEAD WRONG. He is of the same mind as Obama in that regard. So I say again I will not for Ron Paul. If he is a third party candidate he’ll assure Obama of 4 more years, IF he is on the “R” ticket he will assure Obama of 4 more years. Ron Paul is exactly where he needs to be, just like Sarah Palin.

I am not going to rehash the “Ron Paul” debates with the “Paulinista’s” we did enough of that in 08. This time, a comment from a Paul supporter will be trashed before it sees the light of day here. I’m done with the B.S.

The ONLY candidate that can beat Obama was not on the debate stage tonight. His name is Allen West. And if any of you so-called “Americans” can’t see that then BOHICA 4 more of an Obamanation…

President Barack Obama and his followers are “anti-freedom, anti-gun, anti-Constitution and anti-Bill of Rights,” gun-loving rocker Ted Nugent blasted during an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV.

“And I’m anti-them,” he added. “But we’ll be clearing house soon, so it’s merely a bump in the road right now.”

Nugent spoke to Newsmax.TV at the NRA’s annual convention in Pittsburgh, where he gave a speech titled “I Still Believe.” He described the Obama White House as “the Mao Zedong fan club.”

 

 

 

My favorite part of course was TRUTH:

“If Allen West became president of the United States of America, we would be on the fast track back to that Shining City on the Sea and I pray to God that we can elect this man.”

Allen West is the one and only hope we have of righting a sinking ship. There was another time we were in this position. We got Ronald Reagan for our efforts. Then in typical American fashion we forgot the lessons learned from that era. NOW we have a chance apologize for our errors and fix it. Very few get this chance without bloodshed. We must take this opportunity and not let it pass without action. Please for the love of GOD, sign the petition to draft Allen West to run in 2012.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Often, the most interesting thing about a person is the characteristic that lies beneath, that hidden thing that bobs up along the waves of time.

But the most compelling part of Representative Allen B. West of Florida is his own biography, there for all to see: an African-American Tea Party activist Republican congressman and ally of hard-right Israelis who, after his beloved career in the Army ended under a cloud, defeated the sitting Democrat in a largely white, politically polarized district here and quickly became one of the right’s most visible spokesmen.

Mr. West’s fans in his district, which stretches over two counties along the east coast of Florida, are both numerous and loud; hundreds fill his town hall-style meetings, many of them favoring T-shirts bearing his image. At a recent Tea Party rally in Washington, supporters flocked to him like sea gulls to a crust of baguette. Among the 87 House Republican freshmen, he ranks third in the latest fund-raising period for his re-election campaign; his $433,551 haul came largely through individual donations.

You read that mess and while it’s not a hit piece it’s typical of liberal mentality. Notice the terms “African American” “White” “Tea Party.” See this is where we should not be. When I think of Allen West I don’t think “African American” I see American. When I think tea party, I don’t think WHITE, I think American. In the Liberal mind RACE is the most important thing of any issue. While Conservatives don’t give a damn if the person is polka dot from the world of orb, if he/she is an American and believes in the principles that founded this great nation, race is NOT an issue. It is also not an issue when we look at our opponents in our views. It is ALWAYS the left side of the debate that brings up Race. WHY?

The true racists have always been the DEMOCRATS. They opposed the civil rights legislation, they have always been the party knows best… Just gotta keep the black man down so they don’t get too powerful (Perhaps they were right now that we’ve seen Obama in action)

Anyway, Allen West is the American candidate. He’s the closest thing we have to a REAGAN resurgence and if he doesn’t decide to run in 2012. Obama gets 4 more years to finish his destruction. Your Choice America.

I don’t post much from Glenn Beck, but I have to TOTALLY agree with Glenn on this issue. Allen West NEEDS to Run for POTUS!

Tell me how many “uh Um, uh’s oh’s” you heard? That is an example of someone that is FULLY in tune with the issues. Someone that confident is NOT LYING, he’s not parsing his words to make sure he doesn’t “Offend” anyone, he’s telling it like it is. And he’s not going through his last lies to make sure this new lie isn’t going conflict like Obama does everyday.

 

UPDATE: I am seriously disheartened that he said “Not Now” but also in awe of his integrity. He is doing what he was sent to do by his constituents in his district. He has more honor and integrity in his pinky than Obama has in his entire family. If we can’t get West to run then our next best hope will be Herman Cain. Personally I won’t do back flips over him being the Republican candidate but I’d vote FOR him rather than against Obama. That would be nice.

For you Ron Paul or Donald Trump fans. It’s a losing ticket seriously. LOSING.

I understand the angst among us Conservatives and Republicans alike. As well as those Independents that are tired of Obama’s rush to ruin our nation. We are a more divided nation because of Obama. We were divided shortly after 9-11-2001 because Americans have short memories these days. Obama had pledged to “unite a divided nation” he’s failed miserably. IF we must be divided, I want a leader on my side I can trust. I trust Allen West.

What we have here is Opportunity knocking. We have a choice to make. The field of “likely Republican candidates” the media is touting is missing one name. Allen West. There are one or two on the “popular” list that I would vote for, but none that I would jump through hoops of fire for. Allen West is that man.

Let’s take this time before the primaries to put a name on the list we can VOTE FOR, rather than end up voting AGAINST the opponent. Wouldn’t that be great?

We need to let Allen West know he has our support, and he can count on us to stand with him against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

It’s a trust issue. I firmly believe it’s because the American people have lost trust in leadership. Not only lost it, but everyday become more cynical. This is dangerous, but expected.

We trusted Reagan, and he really never lost that trust.  We trusted Bush #1 and his read my lips “No new taxes” ruined that trust. We trusted Clinton and he destroyed that trust on a couple of fronts. One of which was Monica’s…We trusted Bush#2, and we got a few slaps for that, although in each of the previous POTUS’s it took a while to for the betrayal. Obama has stomped our trust from about day 2. But on top of the POTUS, we had a congress that was the MOST UNETHICAL in history. Is it any wonder the country is falling apart at the seams?

If you can’t trust your leaders to be honest about problems, how in the world can we expect them to solve them? We have very few folks in Government, state or Federal that I would trust. They could tell me the sky is blue, I’m going to check.

The question is WHO in Congress has your trust? Who would you take at their word? Is there one or more in the halls of the senate or the house, that you would believe? I’m having a very hard tome buying any of the B.S ANY of them are shoveling these days. Although we have 87 new House Members, and a couple NEW Senators.

As of Now I trust Allen West, Marco Rubio, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan and perhaps a few others. But I say, if you were in congress during the Bush years and you voted for MORE spending in the 2004/5 years you are part of the problem and are partisan. IF you are a new fish, you have trust but verify status.
