Then the CAIR Statement:

“We condemn this apparent desecration of the dead as a violation of our nation’s military regulations and of international laws of war prohibiting such disgusting and immoral actions,” Nihad Awad, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), said in a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and e-mailed to OnIslam.net.

Now my opinion (And this will probably be met with some anger by Muslim Groups worldwide.. And I don’t CARE)

First let me say whoever took this video exercised extreme stupidity. And uploading it for public view took that stupidity and multiplied by a factor of 100.

That being said. I find it very funny that in our nation we have become so PC that we don’t even think of what is actually happening on the battlefield. You look at that video and the bleeding hearts are a gasp because of a urination bath. Never mind the HOLES in the dead enemy it’s the “Urination” that bothers us… Personally I’d rather see the enemy covered in Bacon and set on fire, but to each is own I guess.

The other thing about the “CAIR” condemnation over the urine bath is this: When did they condemn the torture/beheading/whipping/raping/hanging of folks in the name of Islam? Yeah never. But I guess pissing on a bunch of DEAD goat loving enemy combatants is too much for them…

Think about this for a minute and explain it to me if I’m wrong:
In 2008 Obama promised to close GITMO because the left feels like it’s “Cruel and unusual punishment” to keep combatants in prison. Okay GITMO is still open. How many enemy combatants have been put in GITMO since Obama’s election? ZERO. WHY? because he can’t or he’d be just like Booosh right? So what do we do now? We kill them from above using drones or spec/ops. How is that BETTER than detaining them in GITMO? Killing them is more humane than imprisoning them. I’m good with it I just would like to know how it’s spun to be MORE HUMANE.

One more piece of info that’s missing on this video is the “PRIOR” to urinating on these scum, did a firefight take place? did these Marines lose a brother or two in the fight? Was there communication between the sides with maybe the dead making mention of pissing on the Marines corpses? Did the Marine’s just turn the tables?

Now I agree this is NOT how a civilized nation should conduct themselves but I also understand the enemy. The enemy uses kids, women, target innocent civilians, behead journalists, hang our guys from bridges, attack schools etc… So pissing on them IMO is a waste of piss, but if it pisses CAIR off I’m good with it.. Carry on Marines.

Note to the enemy’s fighting the Marines: IF you don’t want to get pissed on? Don’t die fighting the greatest military force in the world. You don’t want to have your body bathed in PISS? Don’t attack a Marine fire squad. just a little helpful hint…

  1. It’s not just Muslims that are *pissed off* about this… There are things that happen in certain situations that are NEVER meant to be aired in public, and this was a foolish act, and as you said, made much worse by it being publicized…

    1. Yep stupid to let this out in this day and time of the pussification of America. Back when America FOUGHT wars to win them this wouldn’t have been an issue. Now? Well, we have to have halal meals for prisoners, we have to bury the enemy in accordance with their goat loving religion. Funny thing, I don’t hear CAIR being outraged by the Christians being murdered in Egypt or by Boco Haram. Not a word… Then again, why would CAIR be worried about the enemy being pissed on? They claim the extremists are not part of their Islam… The enemy is Islamic??? Wait does that mean we ARE fighting Islam? Couldn’t be could it?…

      Fuck em all, save 12 for pall bearers they can work 12 hour shifts…

          I get your meaning Fred, and like I said it was stupid to post it. Like it was for Abu Ghraib or the pics of marines with the bodies in Afghanistan earlier. But seriously I have a real problem with all the “Outrage” coming from the same folks in our nation that never are “outraged” about the shit the enemy does to our guys or innocent civies or even christians in islamic nations.. not a peep… So for me, I will defend these Marines until such time as there is some consistency on the Outrage…just me I guess.

            I totally understand their actions and frustrations, I however, can’t defend OUR guys for this incredibly stupid public display of *pissing off* the enemy…

  2. I wouldn’t classify their actions as “mutilation,” which is what is prohibited by the law of land warfare, but it’s still a foolish thing for them to film. I would reprimand them for poor judgement and move on. The media, however, will undoubtedly wet themselves in their fervor to condemn them (and cater to the rag-heads of “cair”).

  3. Good point JJ. The so-called outrage over this incident really is funny to me. For some reason I just don’t subscribe to the PCness of today’s Americans. Can you imagine what our grandparents would think about this coming to light in the 40’s?

    Personally I’m thinking about sending the marines a case of water so they can “reload” I’d hate them to have so many “targets” and be stuck with an empty bladder….

    1. And that Fred was my point (Although no where near as eloquent) The Marines did do something stupid. They allowed themselves to be video’d. They will get their ass handed to them by the leadership in the Marine Corp. Thats enough, they don’t need to be slugged in the nuts in the media too…

  5. The video was wrong, the action itself was wrong, as I said, doing the RIGHT thing is what separates us from them…

    I knew guys that collected EARS when in Vietnam, I didn’t agree with that either…

    And as to being hung out in the press; if these Marines didn’t think about that BEFORE they placed this BS on YouTube, you can damned sure be advised, they will in the future … oh, wait, no they won’t, lessons weren’t learned from the BS that took place at Abu Ghraib.. My bad..

    1. Yep I stated that in the first couple lines of the post. And Yep we are separated by our actions when nobody’s watching. But I guess my opinion is very simply: We seem to be the only one in this conflict abiding by the rules of war set fourth by the geneva convention. Whether or not a person agrees with the action of these Marines, to run them through the mud DURING wartime is no more helpful for us than this video is helpful to our enemy’s. We have tried to be “Better” than this for the last 100 years and we’re still hated across the globe until someone needs something… truth.

      Yes Fred, the Marine’s did wrong… Big fkn deal to me. I couldn’t give a rats ass less personally. There are those who spend every waking moment waiting for something like this, so they can pounce on it like Vultures. Those are the ones I have a problem with.

      If Marine’s piss excellence then wouldn’t this be a compliment? LOL
