Party leaders clash over Obama as election nears
Vote Republican 4 Animated

WASHINGTON (AP) — He is not on the ballot, but President Barack Obama was the focus in a final-weekend clash between candidates and party leaders, as an increasingly confident Republican Party eyes control of Congress two days before Election Day.

GOP officials on Sunday seized on Obama’s low approval ratings, which have overshadowed state contests in which roughly 60 percent of eligible voters are expected to stay home. SOURCE

Even though Barack Hussein Obama is NOT on the ballot, the upcoming election on Tuesday, November 4th is more about stopping him, yanking as much power away from him as possible, and the only way that can happen is if the GOP retains the House and retakes the Senate.

If that doesn’t happen there won’t be much of an America left come 2016. It’s as simple as that!

Still, the Democratic Party leaders are predicting victory despite disappointing polls.

We have all heard the saying, ‘Polls don’t mean a thing’ and that may be true, but I don’t base my opinions on polls, I base them on what I see and read, and lately I am seeing and hearing a lot of Democrats complain about Obama, his way of governing and the outcome of that governance.

Sure, there’s always going to be a strain of Democratic insanity that supports people like Obama and his cohorts, it’s inevitable, that is why it’s called insanity and why the Dems, in their current configuration, can never be allowed to take control of this nation again.

Speaking of insanity…

“I’m very proud of this president,” head of the Democratic National Committee, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., said. “I think we’re going to win the Senate.”

That, I believe, proves the argument about insanity and the Dems suffering it.

There is one matter that may affect the elections, the weather.

I am an *early voter*, I believe that voting is my duty but I don’t have to wait until the last minute to do it. Also, with the time period that early voting is open I don’t have to wait until a day when the weather is too hot, too cold or too rainy. I vote, it’s what I do, but given the time frame of early voting I vote at MY convenience, and here’s why.

While rain could deter voter turnout on Election Day in part of the Southern Plains and the Northwest, dry weather is in store in the East and the balance of the West.

Gubernatorial elections will be held on Nov. 4, 2014, in 36 states, along with elections for many other state and local government offices.

Rain is forecast to fall on areas from Texas to the upper Great Lakes on Election Day. Voters in part of this area may have to wait in line in the rain.

When (IDIOT) Mayors Attack

When (IDIOT) Mayors Attack

When (IDIOT) Mayors Attack

Today I ran a story about the 450 Mayors that are members of MAIG, Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
450 Mayors Petition Obama To Adopt Broad Gun Reform.

I found out that we only have 1 Mayor in the entire state of Texas that stood for this thinly veiled libber attempt at gun grabbing. Yes, they say ILLEGAL guns, but that is NOT what they mean. Their true intent is ALL guns, and as such, and being the gun guy I am, I sent an email to the City of Hurst Texas, directed to their Mayor, Richard Ward.

How does it feel to be the ONLY Mayor in the entire state of Texas to sign on to this veiled attempt at a libber gun grab? I sincerely hope your constituents take you to the wood shed in your next election. You are a disgrace!

I didn’t attack Mr. Ward, I asked a question and I stated an opinion. And this is what I got back;

Texas Fred,
You are as ugly as you are dumb. I suggest you at least take your picture from your web site. If you want to see a handsome dude, go to the City Of Hurst web site. http://www.ci.hurst.tx.us./

As to your question, how does it feel to be the only Mayor in Texas to be a member of MAIG. It feels wonderful. At least one mayor has the guts (actually I preferred another word) to stand up for what is right. I am sending you an attachment that I put together. You will likely have to have your wife or child read it to you. It has some big words in it. But… have it read to you with an open mind and you might realize that we are all seeking the same thing. Get the criminals and illegal guns off the streets.

Richard Ward
Mayor

Personal attack, personal insults and the most CHILDISH email I have ever received just short of hate mail. This was sent to me by the Mayor of Hurst, Texas. A supposed professional, and an elected official. He responded with less skill than a 3 year old would. He insults me even further with his “You will likely have to have your wife or child read it to you. It has some big words in it.”, he insults my physical appearance, he insults my intelligence, and he rants like a child.

So, you would think that Mr. Ward would have been satisfied with only making a fool of himself just once. You would be wrong!

Dang,
I got so excited about responding to you that I did not see the “How to Contribute”. Well, I will next year.

Richard

Some folks don’t take a bit of criticism well at ALL. 😛

Mayor Ward, I didn’t ask you for a contribution, as tight as times are due to the economy, I would send a donation from you back.

Mayor Ward, you have proven yourself to be an incredibly immature man, especially when one takes your advanced age into consideration. But, you do prove out one thing, there truly is NO fool like an OLD fool.

Mayor Richard Ward

This picture was taken from the City of Hurst website. Sir, I will not sink to your level and attack you for your appearance, nor will I attack your intelligence, or what some perceive to be a lack thereof. I will let YOUR childish words speak for themselves, and oh brother, do they ever speak volumes. 😛

I am hoping that this post is re-posted, emailed, Twittered, Facebooked and generally sent all over the world. ALL of my readers, you don’t even have to ask, just use it as you see fit. I want as many people as possible to see what a FOOLISH old man looks like. And I especially want the good people of Hurst to see what a FOOL they have in the office of Mayor.

This is one of the most difficult posts I have ever made. I honor all of the victims of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, but my anger has never subsided. I will let my tribute to you help ease my anger a bit, this is about YOU dear Lady, and your memory! You are NOT forgotten!

Sharon Balkcom, raised on the scrappy streets of East Harlem, was in the third grade when her teachers realized that she had a gift for mathematics, said her mother, Rosalie, who was not surprised.

Ms. Balkcom, 43, the second of three children, attended some of the city’s most rigorous and selective secondary schools: Robert F. Wagner Middle School on the Upper West Side and the Bronx High School of Science. She received an M.B.A. from Pace University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colgate University.

Ms. Balkcom’s academic aptitude and varied education prepared her to tackle most jobs. She was a computer systems manager at Marsh & McLennan, where she had worked for about three years, her mother said. “She was motivated,” said her brother Gordon, a publicist. “Whereas I might need someone to kick-start me, she was self-motivated.”

As a child, that motivation helped Ms. Balkcom, a resident of White Plains, overcome teasing from neighborhood children about being a bookworm. “She held her head up and continued to do what was right,” Mrs. Balkcom said. “My husband and I brought our children up the best we could. We tried to instill in them the importance of having an education. We taught them that things were not handed to them. If they wanted something, they had to work hard to get it.”

According to fellow workers she was a very caring, intelligent, and personable person, with a great sense of humor.

I will burn an Eternal Flame in your honor Sharon! Rest in Peace.
