Anti-Business Environment in USA Continues.

With the current POTUS blaming Karl Rove and the Chamber of Commerce for taking “Foreign Money” and using it towards campaign donations. I thought I’d chime in on the so-called controversy.

First here’s the story:

President Obama Says Chamber of Commerce Using Foreign Funds to Influence US Elections

President Obama this afternoon joined the gang of Democrats and liberal groups alleging that the US Chamber of Commerce is using foreign funds to influence American elections.

Referring to a study by the liberal group ThinkProgress  that – correctly – notes that the US Chamber of Commerce has some funding sources abroad, including foreign corporations and American Chambers of Commerce around the world (or “AmChams”), the President said, “just this week, we learned that one of the largest groups paying for these ads regularly takes in money from foreign corporations.”

The president then took this step, saying, “groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections, and they won’t tell you where the money for their ads come from.”

Here’s a little fun with the MSM, The face the nation piece with David Axelrod being asked “Is that the best you do?” :rotfl:

Note to Axelrod: In America its the burden of the accuser to prove the charge. IF I call Obama a racist or a rapist does he have to prove he isn’t? or do I have to prove he is?

The definition of “Special interest”  is:

A group of people or organization seeking or receiving special advantages typically  through political lobbying.”

The definition of special interests will also include UNIONS, and MEDIA entities, and groups like the NAACP, CAIR, The Socialists of America and many many others that donate to the DEMOCRAT party. But those I guess are not “Special interests” in the liberal mind. Hypocrisy? You betcha by golly.

Business is a bad word in this nation now. WHY? Because if you listen to our POTUS and his cronies, businessmen and women in the world are all evil and corrupt. BUT the truth is this:

Foreign companies that operate within the US do give money to certain groups or charity or whatever. They are an intricate part of our economy. Just like American companies abroad are to those economies. What does a foreign company give to our nation? JOBS. And with that, taxable earnings that go into the federal and state coffers.

Simple explanation:

Company A from Europe, makes a product here in the US and employ 100 people. They pay them prevailing wage for discussion purposes we’ll say 60k a year. The owner of the company lives in Europe and therefore the profits of that company go to Europe with him. Is that bad?

Well in a liberal mind it is, I think it’s good. Say he makes I million dollars a year profit: He pays the taxes due here in the US, the employees spend their money here in the US, they are taxed, the companies that truck the products are here in the US, the packaging supplies and all the rest are here and employing AMERICANS…This is a PLUS for our economy.

In a liberal mind, the evil Europe businessman is soaking up the profits of the US. But if it weren’t for that company, 100 employees would be out of work. And perhaps half would be on the government assistance program, which we all know is best for our economy according to Nancy Pelosi…

When a company MOVES overseas, America looses. The business OWNER wins big. What is Obama doing? Making Owners MOVE! I guess that’s where MOVEON.ORG gets their slogan….

Must be the reason Fred.. Because for the life of me I can’t see what the discussion is about. Unions making the companies the bad guys? I understand trying to get all you can, believe me I do, but doing it like this is going to cost them their jobs and then what? Talk about idiocy.
