A good start at the RNC

A good start at the RNC

Michael Steele, the new chairman of the Republican National Committee, has asked the entire staff to resign, FOX News has confirmed.

The move signals Steele’s plan to reshape the party, which was trounced at the polls in 2006 and 2008.

As a black man from Maryland, a traditionally Democratic state, Steele has already brought a new face to the party.

The RNC has about 100 staff members, many of whom have been told that their last day on the job will be Feb. 15, a Republican source told Politico, which reported the story Thursday morning.

Well you knew you were going to get an opinion from me on this eventually:
Michael Steele is the new boss of the RNC, I honestly believe this is a “We got one too” move by the Republicans. I think it’s transparent, obvious and I don’t give a shit how the republican spin machine puts it, it’s a RACIALLY MOTIVATED move. I don’t have anything against Michael Steele, I hope he can put some “Conservative values” back in the Republican party. It’s doubtful but I guess it could happen.

Michael Steele started off right though, firing everyone in the old staff, now if he could make the fake ass conservatives occupying seats in the senate disappear ASAP he would be my hero. If the Senate passes the current GIVEAWAY plan, I say every one of the YEA’s need to unemployed come 2010.

Wake the fuck up AMERICA!

  1. Like you say Robert, it’s a start and maybe a good one from what I see. I have watched him on TV and he looks, and sounds like a mover and shaker to me. Time will tell. 2010 is not that far away.

  2. “If the Senate passes the current GIVEAWAY plan, I say every one of the YEA’s need to unemployed come 2010.”

Are you kidding me man? Your calling the Obama Reinvestment in America and Jobs creation bill that WILL create jobs for those of us that would like to have a job to go to… a give-a-way?? Compared to what?? The $360 Billion that Bush and Paulson gave the already millionaires and billionaires in the financial sector in which there was little if any public oversight?
I admit that the Reinvestment Bill is not perfect… but in the end… it will create jobs… lots of them!
As for your little running clock on when America will be released from captivity tells me all I need to know about where you stand… but its a damn funny joke, that’s for sure.

See me at MMfA.org anytime as well…

    1. David, In all FAIRNESS, I was totally against the BUSH GIVE AWAY TOO! You are telling me that giving money to ACORN will create jobs? You are telling me that the accountants, managers, line workers and production employees will be finding a job building bridges, roads and sewers? You are thinking that giving money to the poor will “Stimulate growth” in the LONG run? You are drinking the Kool aid. You ever worked for a poor person? Has a poor person ever hired you? Unless you are crack dealer the answer is NO, we should learn from the first failed “Bailout” and not repeat the mistake. That piece of shit socialist bill will not create anything but MORE gubmint.

Capt foster you can find a job, our unemployment rate is slightly more than 7% there are jobs out there, and your hero Obama will make sure that unemployment rates reach 20% in the near future. Businesses don’t like taxes, and they are going to keep their bottom line, or they close. PERIOD. same shit we talked about PRE-Election. The exact same thing we talked about pre-2006 election. Businesses do not like regulation/taxes/and the unknown. That is the liberal way of life and you can get ready for more government programs that grow the demorat base, the base that wants government to provide ALL for them..

I would expect using a name like “Capt” you would want to do for yourself. Seems the “Capt” is probably a marvel comic moniker rather than a profession.

  3. Congratulations to Michael Steele, I wish him, and the RNC much luck!

That said, it appears that a lot of bloggers are almost ‘giddy’ with joy at the election of Steele to the position of Chairman. I am sure Steele is a great choice, I hope he is because right about NOW would be a really GREAT time for Steele to make EVERY effort to move the RNC back to some TRUE Republican roots, and as far away from being nothing more than *Dem Lite* as is possible. No more RINOs! EVER!! RINOs have destroyed the Republican party.

If the RNC doesn’t go back to being REPUBLICAN, if the RNC doesn’t stop trying to be as much like the Dems as they can, I will STILL be an Independent, and the Republican party will continue to be the party of weak-assed old losers, John McCain, and will continue to lose Congressional and Senatorial seats to the Dems.

Am I being a hard-ass?? You bet I am, it’s time to fight or forget it, and I am NOT going to support ANY candidate that’s not Conservative 1st, not until such time that the RNC becomes the party of true Conservatism, and nothing BUT Conservatism!

One story I saw leads off with Michael Steele becomes first black RNC chairman. Personally, I don’t care if he’s green with purple polka-dots. It’s what kind of JOB he can do to bring the Republican party back into line with CONSERVATISM, that is the goal that must be kept in sight!

Without the Conservatives of this nation the Republican party can forget ANY election, and I personally know many Republicans that are now far more inclined towards pure Conservatism than they are the RNC party policy. Steele had best keep this in mind, otherwise, being a Republican means about as much as it did under the last RNC chairman.

Return INTEGRITY to the RNC Mr. Steele, if you can do that, then there is a great possibility the Republicans can take this nation by storm in 2010!

    1. I agree Fred, but I still say if Obama didn;t get elected Steele wouldn’t be in charge. This was a racial move first and foremost, not trying to take anything away from Steele, I kind of like him. BUT the fact remains the Republicans have left him in the wings until Obama got elected then they decide they need to get a “Black” man out front.

  4. TF said it better than I did and I sure have to agree that there are a hell of a lot of people that are feeling the same way. It’s time to take back our Republic and I don’t care one way or another if it’s a black man that gets it accomplished.

  5. I can’t really add much to what has already been said. I wish Mister Steele the best in his efforts, but I think that he is Captain of a sinking ship. Time will tell.

David; I have a very difficult time believing that you really think that the key to any good for the country is in that bill. It is nothing more than a prop for leftest groups, and payola to them from the Obama.
