A few Questions and Observations.

A few Questions and Observations.

Just a few random thoughts and questions this morning:

1. In Syria, who is the opposition leader? Is there a guy like Nelson Mandela, Che, George Washington who is leading the opposition to Assad? Or is the opposition like OWS?

2. Romney ran a state and held a 4.5 to 4.7% unemployment rate. Obama is using that against Romney. Is the world flipped? 4.5% is BAD. 8.3% is good?

3. NYC bans big sugary drinks. So, what is next? NYC has banned guns, crime is still one of the highest in the nation. Maybe it’s because the criminals are all hopped up on sugar drinks?

4. The latest attack (Actually the ongoing attack by the left on the right) accuses the “Extreme wing of the Republican party” AKA Conservatives of being Racist or woman haters. Yet some of the best and brightest stars of the “Republican party” so-called minorities. How is that possible in an educated society?

5. How frustrating must it be to the Democrat party, when they go on twitter and use a hashtag like “DescribeObamainthreewords” and get responses like “Rolls a Blunt” or Killed the Economy. Conservatives on Twitter are OWNING everything the DNC lie machine can dish out. Funny stuff.

  1. While we can debate the merits, NYC hasn’t “banned” big sugary drinks– the PROPOSED ban is on serving sizes larger than 16 oz’s at places like restaurants, movie theaters and corner stores. You could still buy 2 cups, still get free refills and still get a 2 liter bottle from the grocery store. Also the proposal only covers a small range of drinks– basically sugary soda and sweetened fruit “juice”. It’s pointless and stupid but it’s NOT a law yet and it’s definitely not a ban on “big sugary drinks”

Also sorry but NYC’s crime rate is basically the lowest in the nation for an urban area

    1. Okay Jeff, you’re right it’s not a law yet, but it’s very telling that its even considered. Then you say the crime rate is lower? Lets dig a bit deeper than the Brady logs shall we? Gun crimes discounting the gang killers (Let em kill each other) Innocent victims of gun violence vs AZ or AK cities. The gun grabbers love to lump all crimes into one nice tidy package. Common sense dictates you look further for the truth. Compare home invasions/muggings/robberys with guns in places like CA, NY and AZ vs AZ, Tex and AK. There you’ll see your answer about gun rules and regs.

  2. Also the question about Syrian opposition is a good one. It’s not like OWS, there’s a number of powerful figures within the government and exiled from Syria that have formed a sloppy coalition in opposition to Assad but there’s no central person leading the movement.

    1. and how is that NOT like OWS? Loosely organized, few leaders, scattered message. EXACTLY like OWS. demanding shit from government. Man its a carbon copy without the religious zealotry of the syrians.
