Liberal Leadership
June 21st, 2008 . byWhile commenting on a blog, (Sorry I can’t remember which one) I had an epiphany.
In 2006 we turned both houses of congress over to Demorat control and a Pelosi lead. In 2006 gas prices, home sales and overall economic outlook was very good. During the run up to the 2006 election we talked about the damage that would be done if liberals took over, several folks mentioned economic slowdown, gas prices and job losses.
Since the Demorats have been in charge we have seen time and money wasted on stupid bills, impeachment proceedings, and all kinds of finger pointing. I am not leaving the president out of the blame pool but this isn’t about him. It’s about the future, WHY in the hell would ANYONE vote for MORE liberal control of our nation?
GWB’s performance approval rating is very low, but CONGRESS is far below that… Oh I know it’s because the Republicans won’t go along with surrender and all the other stupid PC BS.
Just sayin.

So, let me see if I have this straight…
Bush is a MORON, but Congress is comprised of bigger MORONS and a lot more of them…
Now if I understand this correctly, if Obamalamadingdong gets elected, we’re screwed even worse…
Is that close?? :?
@TexasFred: Uh yeah Fred, I think you done got it. But all is not lost, McCain could win… (/SARCASM!!!)
Testing
It’s not just a matter of saying — it’s a matter of TRUTH.
But here’s the truth no one will admit: MODERATION KILLS CONGRESS.
The Congress is insufficiently Left for the Left;
The Congress is insufficiently Right forthe Right.
Let’s just get back to BASICS and the tenets of each party.
And let the fisticuffs and blows fall where they may.
BZ
@Bloviating Zeppelin: Very true BZ, however I fear those days are gone. We are stuck in a PC society where calling it like it is will be called Racist or worse. If you oppose anything the other side will accuse the opposition of whatever the catch phrase of the day is.
Not too long ago honor and dignity reigned supreme, the Clinton Admin. took care of that pesky little problem
I made note of similar issues a while ago.
If congress has an approval rating half of Bush’s, then why would we want to vote for any of the candidates when they come from the bigger source of the problem? These idiots are part of the do nothing crowd that has stifled if not cut the legs out from under our nation.
There you go mentioning that PC BS. I don’t see how we can win a war much less remain a country with tripe like this as policy. Until we wake up and start calling things what they are we are going to continue to slide into the abyss.
@ablur: That’s a fact too but when you got some folks claiming you are a racist, or whatever because you call like it is, there will be hesitation to do it, so we are stuck with our head in the sand… well some of us are, then there are the accusers, those that accuse folks of being hate filled if they discuss the issue…. the only thing left then is for “Lefty loon or Faux intellectual loons” to get their way and have silence rather than solutions.
I’m still waiting for this dummycrat controlled Congress to do something during that big “first 90 days” push…glad I didn’t hold my breath on that one!
[...] Robert notes the ‘Rat Congress delivered on every bad thing we on the right said they’d deliver on. By the way, that deliverance resulted in record low approval ratings for Congress. [...]
